Dogs loved it, loved the extra little fenced area and they enjoyed sunning on the fenced porch. No issues with Google Maps and phone service worked normally. Would stay again!

Reviewer Comments: The cabin was a wonderfully secluded vacation rental.we appreciated the fully stocked cabin, very clean, and supplies included were thoughtful. A starter of a bundle of firewood was perfect for the first chilly night. The cabin is located to many wineries, apple orchards, a short drive to Dahlonega, and Americola State Park. There was plenty of things to do within a short driving distance. The office stayed in touch and checked on us to make sure everything was going well Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We look forward to staying here again.

Cabin was just as described. Very clean with excellent kitchen amenities. Fenced area for the dog as well as the wrap around gated deck was also great for our pup.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was so clean and adorable. It was cozy and comfy and had a beautiful view. We also LOVED the yard space for our dogs to use. My only suggestion would be to connect the gate from the porch to the gate for the dog yard so they do not have to be transferred during the cold weather. The washer and dryer were very convenient, the appliances were all modern and worked well. The fireplace was gorgeous. It was just such an overall great weekend.

A relaxing weekend getaway.

My partner and I came up for his birthday weekend. The cabin was cozy and very clean. The hot tub was amazing as well as a fireplace. The only issues I had were the cleanliness of the wine glasses which which we're extremely dirty. We elected to just drink out of paper cups the entirety of the trip. The bedroom TV screen was also cracked so we were not able to view anything on that TV but it was not a big deal. All in all the trip was very fun and enjoyable and the space was comfortable and for the most part clean.

Amazing time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had and amazing time staying in Fauna Lodge. Every morning we were blessed to have a family of deer walk by the cabin while enjoying coffee on the porch. The cabin was clean and the dogs really enjoyed the dog yard. Everything was exactly how I was expecting. The road to the cabin was a little rough but they were repairing it while we were there. Plus I have a jeep so the rough roads don't bother me. We had a wonderful time exploring the areas around Blue Ridge and the cabin. The dogs also had a blast. Thank you for making the stay wonderful. We will definitely be booking in the near future.

Peaceful

Beautiful cabin. Just enough for two. Nice amenities. Very quiet. Centralized between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only “negative “, and not really a negative, was the road to get to the cabin. We have a small sedan and there were several pot holes in the gravel road going up. However we’ve stayed in numerous cabins in North Carolina where the roads were pretty sketchy for us flat landers. So really just an annoyance. We would book this cabin again.

Perfect little getaway

We had the most amazing week spent with our sweet pups at this adorable cabin! The host was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly! We were so excited to be able to travel with our dogs for a very much needed relaxing vacation in the beautiful Ellijay mountains! They even provided all the little details for our fur babies to be comfortable! They loved playing in the fenced in area and the dog biscuits were a sweet addition! We loved the covered hot tub area with a fire pit where we sat and watched so many deer walk through the woods! We will definitely be coming back!

Great Relaxing Stay

This property was awesome! We brought our pups and the cabin was perfect for the pups! A quiet area that was tucked away with many areas to hang out. It was hard to choose where to relax. Perfect for me, my husband, our two dogs, my mom and her dog.

The location was perfect and it was just the right size for the two of us and our dogs. We enjoyed having the fenced area for the dogs to run and play without having to worry about them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and our two children (plus our Aussiedoodle) spent a long weekend at the Fauna Lodge. It was great! It was such a cute cabin! It had a beautiful view and a lovely wrap around porch. The hot tub and fire pit area was gorgeous! I was very grateful for the fenced in area for our dog to go potty. They supplied a a dog bowl and bed and even some treats! We received texts checking on us from the rental company, who were very responsive and kind. Everything was immaculately clean. The directions provided were accurate and helpful.The road up the mountain is quite narrow and winding and you have to pull to the side at times to let another car pass. The area was very peaceful and close to nearby restaurants . We saw several deer (probably 20) on our way back from dinner the last night! It was a wonderful sight! The only thing I wish I had brought was aluminum foil or Ziploc bags/Tupperware for a picnic we took. Those would have also been nice for leftovers in the fridge; I had to get creative since we didn't bring any of those items. All other cooking utensils, pots, appliances, etc were there. Also, The beds were so comfortable! It was a lovely weekend. I would love to come back and use Sliding Rock Cabins again!!!!
