Randy and Arlene were there to greet us and personally provided all of the information we needed and answered all of our questions. The cottage was perfect with location and amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful spot overlooking the bay. Arlene and Randy have everything you need and more in this cottage. The bed was excellent quality with lots of pillows and blankets. Kitchen was immaculate with absolutely everything you can possibly need

A meticulously cared for property, that is located perfectly, with views of the bay. The cottage owners are communicative and always willing to assist!This cottage was well supplied, very clean and a joy to stay in.

absolutely beautiful

A very beautiful area along the south shore of Nova Scotia. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. They know the area and its places to visit and dine. Their two cottages look out over Saint Margaret’s Bay and one can hear the lapping of the waves on the shore line across the road. It is a busy two lane highway and can be somewhat noisy. This is the only down side to a great stay in a fully furnished cottage with a well equipped kitchen and wonderful hosts. Its location is central to exploring beaches and sites and variety of excellent dining opportunities. One such being The Blue Tuna in Hubbards.

Absolutely superb!

This cottage is beautiful, extremely well stocked with every thing you could possibly need or want, and then some! The hosts, Arlene and Randy, are nearby if you need anything at all, but they don’t interfere with your privacy. They also made excellent restaurant suggestions, and even texted us on Saturday morning about a local farmers’ market that we would have otherwise missed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, and we will return!

Cottage by the ocean

The cottage was a great spot to hang out. It’s located next to the ocean so we enjoyed a beautiful view while having coffee in the morning. Communication with the owners was excellent. The kitchen had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable. The cottage had a LOT of decor. It was cluttered with knick knacks and pictures. The space would be more appealing with a pairing down. The space is definitely not kid friendly. The shower door was awkward to open but overall functional. We would stay here again.

Ocean View Paradise

Beautiful cottage with all amenities, hosts have thought of everything you need and then some !!!! Randy and Arlene were wonderful to deal with and offered advise and ideas for our stay. Location is perfect for Peggy's cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and many other places to visit, go for a ocean side drive or just sit on the deck with a beverage and watch the ocean. We highly recommend this little jewel for your vacation stay !!!!!

Beautiful Location

Our hosts Randy and Arlene were helpful in suggesting places to visit.Location was great for visiting such places as Halifax,Chester,Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.Cottage was beautiful inside and out,spotless and all the amenities one needed.The view of St Margaret’s Bay from cottage was amazing!We would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect place to spend time at.We hope to return again! Randy is a former high school teacher who loves golfing. Arlene loves gardening and everything creative. We love living on the ocean and sharing our cottages with visitors. Meeting new people and helping them explore all that this great area offers is so rewarding for us. We look forward to helping you have a wonderful vacation and providing memories that last a lifetime.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY, UNIQUE FEATURE
The unique feature of our cottages is an enclosed breezeway which is in between the 2 units.
When the kitchen doors of each unit are open the entire living area of each cottage become one joined space.
Each cottage is a stand alone unit, and each cottage sleeps 4.

This is the perfect answer for larger families.

The 2 cottages are located in Black Point Nova Scotia, on St. Margarets Bay.
The local name for this area is Puddle Bay.
It has a long history of being "cottage country" and there are many locals you'll meet who will be able to tell you stories about this location.
The view from the front deck of the 2 cottages is of the open ocean of St. Margarets Bay.
Many times seals, porpoises and the occasional minke whale have been spotted.
The shoreline is accessible during mid to low tide and it's a great spot for beachcombing.
There are 2 sandy beaches within walking distance and 4 within a 3-10 minute drive.
Perfect for beach wedding pictures.

We purchased this beautiful property because of the view and we never grow tired of gazing at the ever changing scenery.

Snorkeling right in front of property, beach access at mid to low tide with ample opportunity to search for beach glass. We also have easy access to launch your kayak right in front of the property. Morning and evening is a great time for you to stand up paddleboard. The wide open ocean view is stunning. Walking/ hiking/biking trails are accessed within 2 minutes walk from your doorstep. All local attractions are within a 10-30 minute drive.
