The place had everything we needed and was stocked with lots of little extras that made our stay easy. The location was great close to Tempe, Scottsdale, and plenty of restaurants and shops so it was convenient to get around and enjoy the area.

The house was comfortable and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Check in and out was very easy. The only thing I would recommend is a solar cover for the pool since it was too cold to use seeing as we visited in the winter. Although, we did know this going in. The hot tub was very nice. Overall we would definitely come back and recommend this place over and over.

Amazing property

The house was beautiful and had tons of room. Pool was great and house had everything that was needed. Quick access to freeways to get around the Valley area. Would definitely recommend for visiting families.

Outstanding home if you're headed to Tempe!

This place was perfect for our needs. Super close to ASU and to the Beach & Arts Park. The owners were very responsive and willing to address any needs that arise. Would highly recommend and would like to return in the future!

Excellent vacation property

We highly recommend this property. The pool was nice and perfect for our stay. Price point was much better than booking hotel rooms for our family. We used the grill and kitchen which is fully stocked. Anything we needed, we had. Our host answered questions. We will definitely be staying here again.

The best hosts!

First of all, the location is fantastic! We enjoyed the pool, which was pristine! The hot tub was perfect after long travels. Having a garage was a great perk to have in a rental. There are so many little extras that make the experience a joy. They really have thought of everything!

Nice house

Always nicer to stay at a house than a hotel. Clean house. Clear instructions and labels on things. Nice garage and hot tub. Nice back yard. Close to the fashion mall (my wife’s favorite. )

Nice set up

This property was in a great location, for us. We loved that it was well stocked with everything we could need. The one thing I would want to let others know is that the bed in the main bedroom was difficult for “older” people to maneuver. It was low to the ground and the frame around it sticks out so that you bump in to it often. We left with bruises on our calves, lol. All in all, it was a good stay. Large and bright kitchen area where we spent most of our time.

Perfect family getaway

Gina was a fantastic host. She was attentive to all of our needs. My kids are 1 and 3, and so we needed quite a bit. Gina was SO helpful. She made sure they had a pack n play, high chairs, pool toys, etc. We had to borrow life jackets for the kids (there is no fence around the pool), so I’d say that is a must if you have little ones. Otherwise, absolutely everything we needed was there. Even blackout curtains in the bedrooms! Neighborhood was lovely with a playground within walking distance. We spent every moment we could outdoors- the weather was perfect in AZ in mid April. Would totally stay again!

Fantastic location and great host

Can’t be in a better location. We were essentially 10 min from Old/Downtown Scottsdale, restaurants, groceries, Papago Park, Zoo, Botanical Garden, shopping, and amazing bike trails and Sky Harbor. The plus/minus of being close to Sky Harbor is that it’s super easy to pick up friends and family. The downside is that you can hear the planes all day. It does stop after 10/11pm at night but will start back up at 5/6 am. Rico is very responsive and provides recommendations on restaurants and others if you need it. He was also responsive to feedback and tried to make the stay more comfortable . We are a couple of blocks from a very nice park with a nice playground if you have kids, tennis/pickleball courts, horseshoe, basketball and picnic areas. The area is gentrifying quickly. We stayed for 4 weeks and we saw many houses getting flipped. Pool is a little cold this time of the year but the hot tub is great.

Overall the stay was good! The location is centrally located to a lot of activities but also in an older part of town where your surrounds aren’t necessarily the safest. The house had everything you needed and was cleaned well! The alarm system was nice to have for the safety of the pool and peace of mind! Would recommend to family or friends if they were looking for rental in North Tempe! The house had a pack n play and a high chair which was nice to have while traveling with a baby!

Great Rental

Great house and a perfect location! Home just on north end of Tempe, just south of Scottsdale. Perfect location and easy to get to ASU. Access to greenway path just down the street and quiet neighborhood. House is as pictured and described and pool is a great feature. Owners easy to deal with and ultra responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this property. All I can say, location, location, location. It is perfect for visiting Old Scottsdale and ASU. Perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic pool for relaxation. The owner Gina easy to communicate with, and answer questions immediately. We can’t wait to be back!

Thanksgiving with ASU student

We wanted to have Thankgiving with our niece/grandaughter/cousin who couldn't go home for the holiday. We were 6 total. The kitchen was perfect for making a large meal. Thankful we found this place!

I wish I would've been informed that the pool water was going to be about 90 degrees - with it so hot outside, I was hoping the pool would be a nice way to cool off, but it felt like a warm bath. The house was clean, and had all we needed for the stay. I also wish they'd provided more than 1 toilet paper roll.

Fantastic home in a peaceful and convenient neighborhood!

This is house is cute and spacious and very well appointed. Plenty of space to relax and stretch out. The backyard is absolutely peaceful and the neighborhood is quiet. Every imaginable food option and store is mere blocks away. Great restaurants, tons of sights to see, and plenty of attractions are right there. The zoo, the lake park, and ASU-adjacent nightlife are so easy to get to. The owners are very communicative and really did everything they could to make the check in and check out process as easy as possible. Fantastic home, amazing owners, all in a great part of town.

Amazing Home, Perfect for Kids! Great for an extended stay or quick trip!!!

My family was caught between homes due to Covid-19 pandemic as escrow was delayed. So grateful that we found the Flamingo Hideaway house, it was truly a home away from home for my family. The host Gina was truly Amazing as she responded to any and all questions immediately. The home is fully equipped with all amenities your family may need. We were running behind schedule on check-out day so reached out to the owner last minute and she accomadated our need immediately without hesitation.
