What an amazing view!

Our family had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular and the house was perfect for us. Helen was a beautiful town to visit right down the road. We really enjoyed our visit!

Great Escape

Cozy little place conveniently located minutes from Helen. After a little confusion over the mention of murphy beds, we settled in and had a great time here. The Blackstone was great for making breakfast for everybody! Amazing views!

Beautiful cabin

We had a great experience at Cloud 9! The cabin was comfortable and the location was truly beautiful! It is close to Cleveland and Helen, GA, and many waterfalls and hiking locations. The owner is very responsive if you have any questions or issues. We would definitely stay there again!

Heaven on Earth

I have been visiting Helen Ga for 17 years and by far this was one of the best places we've ever stayed. From the magnificent sunrise to sunset we couldn't have asked for a better view. The cabin was gorgeous and the kids loved being in their own cabin. My family has already requested to come back next year.

Great getaway with a great view

This property offered everything that was promised. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and beautiful views. Close to everything that you need, but far enough from it all to feel like a genuine escape to nature. Highly recommend.

Amazing Views Amazing Stay

All I can say is Wow! The views from Cloud 9 are STUNNING! Both cabins are cozy and well maintained, comfy beds, warm showers, just everything you could possibly need for a getaway. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get the moment you walk in the door. Can't wait to visit again!

Most Peaceful Vacation Ever!

Beautiful view!

Our group of four couples had a great time at Cloud 9! One couple had to sleep on the pull out couch but because we brought our own topper it slept okay. Without the topper it would have been very uncomfortable so I suggest to bring some extra cushion. We loved the view and had a blast relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely go back and visit again!

Breathtaking Views

My family loved our stay at Cloud 9. The view was spectacular. The cabin and guest house were perfect. I adored the decor. Watching the sunrise from the deck was surreal. The cabin is close to so many outdoor activities. We climbed to the top of Yonah Mountain, enjoyed shopping and eating in Helen, cool river tubing, Anna Ruby Falls and Duke Creek Falls. There is so much more I’d love to explore so we will definitely be back.

Great getaway

We had an amazing stay at Cloud-9. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival with nice music and a readied home. The check in process was simple and we had everything we needed to fins and access the home. The drive up to the house was via a natural rock road but nothing too difficult or steep. Alan was an amazing host and always quick to respond if we had any questions although there weren’t many because everything was set for us. The view was definitely wonderful and the sunrise was beyond amazing. We woke to the same view as in the picture. It literally felt as if we were in the clouds. We didn’t use the second smaller space too much except for one or two games of pool, and the main cabin had everything we needed. We basically hiked, cooked, and watched movies which was exactly what we wanted. There was an Ingles (grocery store) and a Starbucks within 5 minutes which was perfect! We met a few neighbors while out walking the dog, and they were also incredibly nice. I loved that we could walk directly out the front door and straight up Mount Yonah. We saw a bear, a few deer and incredible views. I definitely recommend and would visit again.

I would recommend renting this cabin.

We took a chance on renting this cabin based on the reviews that had been posted in the past. It lived up to its expectations. By far the cleanest cabin I have every rented. The view is fantastic. Quiet area and friendly neighbors. Works for both all adults or adults with children. Our dog felt at home. Plenty of parking. The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice.

Cozy Cabin(s)

The cabins offer desirable features such as great view, main and guest cabin with shared outdoor deck/firepit/hot tub/picnic table, comfortable living/dining area open to kitchen in main cabin, pool table with basic kitchenette in guest cabin, bathroom for each bedroom area. Overall, they are cabins and as such are cozy (translate "tight on space"). Be aware of this when planning for persons who will use the sleeping facilities (camping cots, rollaway) other than the three queen beds - there is very little room to actually set these up.

What more could one ask for?

My wife and I and another couple stayed here for a long week end. It had most every thing we needed. We cook all but 1 meal at the cabin which saved us loads of money. Also there were plenty of things to do at this wonderful cabin, from sitting in the hot tub to playing pool, it kept our wives out Helen, which saved us a ton of money as well! There was nothing better than starting the day with the beautiful sunrises that you see every morning from the back deck. Closing each evening while sitting on the deck with a nice cigar and galss of Hennessey just completes the week end. The only difficulties we had was the road getting to the cabin is a one lane dirt road that our cars did not care for. We made it with no problem, however I would suggest to anyone who goes here in the winter or rainy season to take a truck. I will defiantly be returning to the cabin in the near future. Thank you for a great weekend!!

The property location was wonderful and Alan was good about responding to fridge and grill not working as a tropical storm had been in area. The second cabin had cobwebs and dust and did not seem to have been refreshed for new guests( figure had not been used by last guest) When I opened up oven in main cabin and found a pan with old food in there I knew that cabin had not been cleaned well. With pandemic this was disturbing especially since they had written statement about intense cleaning process . Needless to say I wiped down all surfaces in cabin but did not feel comfortable for my stay. We never used hot tub as had debris and did not appear sanitary Unfortunate since this was first vacation since pandemic

The view is worth it. Great location to Helen and wineries. Mountain living at its finest. I would be remiss to not mention the cleaners could do a better job at prepping for incoming stays. I will leave it at that.

We bought this property because of the "Spectacular Views" and amazing location at the top of Yonah Mountain, also because it has a separate guest cabin on the property which gives us adults some quiet time in the main cabin and also because of the great location for hiking and its close proximity to Helen and Unicoi State Park and other local attractions but most importantly the amazing views. The Helen area is the closest our family can get to Ireland without getting on a plane. The cabins are bright and full of atmosphere. Our Children love to go canoeing on the rivers nearby and tubing on the HOOCH. The new Mountain Roller Coaster has now opened in Helen, our whole family loves it. The local people are so warm and friendly, and the area has so many great restaurants and places of interest to visit, we also love the new Brewery "Tantrum" that has just opened at the bottom of Yonah Mountain. We love to hike and spend time outdoors and some of the best hiking in the North Georgia Mountains is right outside the front door of Cloud 9 on Yonah Mountain, which is adjacent to the Chattahoochee National Forrest.

Cloud 9 comprises of a main Cabin that sleeps 6 and also a separate rustic guest cabin that sleeps 2 in a queen bed the guest cabin is located at the other end of the lower observation deck. The extra private cabin is great for children, and it is also where the pool table and games are, which gives guests staying in the main cabin their privacy and quite time away from the children etc.
