The cabin was above and beyond perfect for our family. We had several in from out of town for my daughter’s wedding and the location, accommodations, views, and amenities were perfect!! Our hosts were so nice and welcoming by texts and communication. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was exactly as expected—spacious, clean, and private. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and the entire process was easy from start to finish. Excellent location: a real "cabin in the mountains", quiet and peaceful - but only a very short drive to a full service grocery store, wineries, a brewery, Helen Georgia Alpine Village, restaurants, tubing, etc. The photos in the listing do not do justice to the beautiful view of the mountains from the decks! Lots of space. Very responsive and accommodating Owner. We'd love to come back here in the future!

Everything was super!! I loved the fact that I was able to bring my disabled father in law and him be able to enjoy comfortably. There was a very cozy main level bedroom with walk in shower and a mobile handicap shower chair. That was a very convenient touch. Spectacular views!!! Will definitely stay again. The host was very easy to communicate with. Great stay and smooth check in process.

A quiet, private location within a short drive of both Helen and Cleveland. Mitch was a hospitable and responsive host. Highly recommend! Also recommend a trip to Anna Ruby Falls (20 min drive).

Ritz on the Rocks was everything we hoped it would be! The beautiful house has spectacular views of the North Georgia mountain sunsets. The beds were very comfortable and the well-appointed kitchen was great for fixing our family meals. The roomy two living rooms gave us plenty of room for our entire family to enjoy the stay. The horseshoe pit and cornhole set were fun. The teens in the group enjoyed the firepit and s'mores on the last night. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay great!

Beautiful cabin with panoramic views. Spotlessly clean. Conveniently located to Helen as well as other attractions. Best host ever, went above and beyond to see we enjoyed our stay (during the worst ice storm in decades)! yes we especially enjoyed the Hot Tub. You can't go wrong with this one!!!

This was one of the best vrbo properties I have ever stayed at. The house itself offered private bedrooms and baths on each floor that was perfect for our girls trip. It was clearly clean and well kept. The view was just gorgeous and it was very convenient to Helen. The owner, Mitch, was so pleasant and easy to work with and the smores welcome gift was such a thoughtful touch.

I'm a happily married father, local real estate broker, nature and wildlife photographer, volunteer soccer coach, world traveler, outdoor enthusiast, adventure junkie, working for an international Christian missions organization.

I'm a native North Georgian. Born, raised, and currently living in Gainesville, just 20 minutes south of Dahlonega. My wife, Monya, and I met at Young Harris College in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and then hung around Athens for a few years to earn our degrees from the University of Georgia. It was love at first sight. It just took her a few years to realize it. We got married in the fall of 2007 at Big Canoe, yep you guessed it... in the mountains. She went on to get her master's from Brenau University and is an elementary school teacher. She thinks she's smarter than me, she's probably right. She's certainly better looking.

Our team consists of our daughter, Adri (9), and our son, Adler (6). I always tell everyone, "we've done our part and created our replacements". She's compliant and contemplative, like her mother, and he's our little strong-willed explorer, just like his old man. We have the most gentle and loving Great Dane Lab mix named Sophie, a temperamental self absorbed cat named Coal, and a spastic rescue squirrel named Lucky.

My hair is quickly turning gray. It started at 17. I like to think of it as my pre-mature crown of glory. It's probably just hereditary. And yes, I was born with a beard.
