Oktoberfest + Walk to Downtown Helen + Hot Tub

It's almost springtime in Helen! Nestled in the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, this hidden gem, the Alpine Bungalow, overlooks Helen, GA and is located within walking distance to downtown Helen. Our Alpine Bungalow is comfortable, cozy and clean and ready to host up to 8 guests. So if you're coming for tubing, Oktoberfest, Christmas or Summer activities we have the place for you and your family.

The Space

The home offers a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and boasts four bedrooms. (Main Floor - 1 King bedroom and Bunk Bed room. Upstairs hosts a King with ensuite bathroom another Queen room.) There is also 2 1/2 baths. We have flat screen smart TVs in every room of the home. The back patio offers privacy, seating for four, a propane grill, hot tub and a scenic view. Enjoy easy access to the best of Helen, river tubing, mountain coaster, shops and eateries. It's all within a short walk from the Alpine Bungalow here in Helen!

Come stay at The Alpine Bungalow, one of 33 beautiful homes managed by Southern Charm Vacay. We’re here to answer any questions you may have and to help make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Other things to note:
This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away

Too few towels/cloths for the quantity of sleepers. Would recommend wood stairs be updated. Would recommend Mold on ceiling in master bath downstairs be repaired. Hot tub didnt warm up for us to enjoy. Parking is a little crowded. Trash on hillside looking out back of the bungalow to the city need to be cleaned up. Blow the parking lot off die to hazardous texture.

Everything was wonderful! Booking was super easy!! Then we were able to add an extra day with ease. Check-in was simple and the accommodations were clean and had everything we needed for four days/three nights! When we go back, we will definitely be hoping we can stay here again!

A beautiful Bavarian chalet tucked in the heart of Helen, GA. The place was cute and quaint with the most comfortable beds. It is very convenient to downtown Helen.

Location was perfect. Short walk to downtown. Every bed in the house was comfortable. Living room was cozy and good comfort zone for lounging. I had a few question for the host and they responded within seconds with helpful answers.

Reunion In Helen

Our family had an amazing time at the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked which was very convenient. The cabin was very close to downtown and the rollercoaster (which we rode twice!). The hill is a bit steep but my 65 yr old was able to walk up it fine. Totally worth not to deal with traffic! We'd totally stay there again!

Helen at last minute

Decided to stop in last minute and hotels booked. 4 guys on Harleys so usually get 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. This was less than 2 rooms and each got their own room. Very nice. On a hill on back street so walking tough but we did it. Overall very good.

Quick weekend getaway

Cozy and comfy bungalow!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bungalow. It is located in a perfect uphill where if you don't mind, it's a very short walking distance to the rollercoasters, tubing and also to walk the town. We loved it so much and look forward to coming back!

Loved it!

Loved our stay in Helen! It is true that the parking is a little difficult. You will need to plan to bring smaller vehicles. The listing didn't specify the exact number of parking spots, but we clarified that via email (there are 3). The house itself was amazing and just as described, even though we didn't realize the master was on the bottom and the other king upstairs. The only thing that was negative was our friends who stayed upstairs mentioned bugs they found in their room. Otherwise, it was just what we needed! Super close to town as well!

Awesome stay

We did find two things that should be taken care of. 1… creamer on counter needs to refrigerated and so was bad. Need to get creamer that needs no refrigeration. 2… bath sink faucet upstairs needs attention only because the cold side is hot water and hot water is cold. Needs the line switched over. We both enjoyed the stay very much. Everything is is close to where the Alpine Bungalow was. So it was perfect for the couple days that we were there. Thanks for having us. We will definitely tell friends and family of the beautiful place you have.
