Silver Shells St. Maarten 803 is a Destin vacation rental located in the highly desirable Silver Shells Beach Resort. This three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo offers breathtaking views of the Emerald Coast from the eighth floor. This vacation rental offers private beach access. St. Maarten 803 is the perfect location for your next Destin beach vacation!

The condo is furnished with a washer and dryer.

The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Maarten 803 have been tastefully decorated with a trendy beach theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and offers plenty of seating for everyone around the flat-screen TV. The couch even converts to a queen sleeper sofa for larger parties. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining room has seating for six with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a luxurious tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The first guest bedroom has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the beach-facing balcony. The first guest bedroom also has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second guest bedroom has a twin over a twin bunk bed, a twin over a full bunk bed, and a flat-screen TV. Just steps from both the second guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

On our last evening the night of 7/29 another family we knew staying with us heard the fire alarm going off and notified us. We went to go down our stair and there was rushing water coming down we found another staircase and went down that way. When we got downstairs we were told by firemen that a a water pipe burst. We stay here once a year and it’s concerning to me that only certain people. Old hear the fire alarm if there was an actual fire we would not have heard the alarm. Also there was no communication from any staff what was going on we just headed back to our condo when we thought we should??? This concerned me for renting here at all again. We have rented at other resorts and fire alarms have gone off and there is no doubt that it’s going off. Also this was from 1-2 in the morning and we couldn’t sleep the remainder of the night because there were people yelling up and down the elevator for a few hours afterwards.

Broken Equipment

Overall, not impressed. Broken dishwasher, broken washer, broken tp holder in 2nd master, no hot water in 2nd master for first 5 nights, no lock on childs room that had a door to outside hallway, this is huge safety issue with 3yr old. Picture fell off wall this am as we are packing up our dirty clothes, and piling all dirty dishes in the sink, the picture fell off the wall.... For the price charged, this should have been in premium condition. I will say, your repair men did show up, but didn't stay long enough to find the issue with the dw.... 😕 Washing machine repair guy, just turned off water. Fix it when your gone. Loved location, loved the view, hated the dirty floors, burned speakers on patio, lack of paint inside, toilet seat didn't fit, etc. Look around at these condos, look at the walls, the baseboards etc.... Clean it up or lower your exorbitant rates. I've rented with VRBO many many times, never had a bad review from me or on me. Will think twice before I use VRBO or compass resorts again.

Mold

The property was amazing itself. Great location. Great view. However, there was a lot of mold. The last 3 days we were there we were unable to use our elevator and people came in and out of our room without our knowledge or permission, after we had already left. The back door to the property does not have a lock on it which is located in the bunk bed room where the kids sleep. This was very unsettling. This is also how people entered our room with out our knowledge/permission. We walked in to our room after visiting the beach to a bunch of heavy equipment and cords being ran everywhere. Everywhere to the point our kids tripped over them because they were unable to walk through the condo because there was so much. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable since they didn’t have our permission to do any of that.

Love the location and view

The front door did not close. LR furniture needs replacement and is uncomfortable. You are given 2 DW tabs and the washer needs to be running prior to checkout. It has a washer/dryer but no soap. Very small bottle of dishwashing liquid. No salt, pepper, coffee filters. I have stayed in many VRBOs but this was the worst outfitted one. Poor value.

Missed the mark

This unit was missing a lot of the little things like shampoo, towels closet doors off their track and the dryer was broken. Cockroaches were a problem during our stay. Excellent view and the beach was amazing. This would be an excellent listing if those issues were addressed.

Great condo

We loved our stay! The beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping could do a little better job. I found trash under bed still there from previous guest. Also need more towels. There was only 8 towels for 8 people so I had to wash daily. Normally 4 towels in each bathroom. I also wish we could have gotten more then 4 keys. There were 8 of us and 4 keys. A lot of coordination needed in coming and going.

Amazing Views

Condo and beach did not disappoint! Views from condo were amazing! We had 2 families with 11 total people and had plenty of room. Resort provided us everything we were looking for, beach front condo with view that included pool and hot tub. Only disappointment was the $100/day we had to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas on the private beach. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Destin!

Amazing beachfront property

This is definitely a place my family will visit again. It was perfect!! Great pool, beaches were nice, and even saw dolphins off our balcony that overlooks the ocean. You won't regret a trip to this beautiful place!!

Beautiful Area

We stayed at this condo the month of February. Condo had great layout and can accommodate a large number of guests, but needs a little updating especially the carpets and mattresses, tile work in shower floors. Owner was very kind and did have carpets cleaned in bedrooms after our arrival and did state it was to have been completed before our arrival. However, the back bedroom especially needs replaced perhaps because of service entry in this bedroom. Back bedroom with coded service entrance had no inside lock which met it could be opened by staff personnel at any time. Notice would be given if work had to be completed by day or week, but no exact time, so service personnel could walk in at any time. Depending where you were in condo you might not hear them knock and enter. That being said, the complex was wonderful, views from balcony beautiful, pleasant staff. Kitchen was well supplied if you wanted to cook. Condo over all was clean. Overall enjoyed our stay, loved shopping, local restuarants and ocean view. The only reason we were happy to leave were relief from backaches.

Incredible!!

Our family of 4, (2 adults, kids ages 8 & 4) stayed at Silver Shells this past October. We are from MN and were not sure what Destin had to offer (this was our 1st time to the beach with kids) and were amazed at the incredible condo and location! True to the pictures, the condo was classy, clean and includes all the amenities. We loved how family friendly & secure the building is. The elevator opened up right to the floor (a 1st for us- soo fancy!) The weather was perfect- low 80's and hardly a cloud in the sky. Our kids loved the sugar white sandy beach- building sand castles and catching crabs! The condo had a nice variety of board games and sand castle supplies for borrowing as well! Great variety of restaurants near by including a fabulous BBQ place across the street! We enjoyed our stay soo much and plan to return again!

We have had the fortune to stay in Silver Shells many times and I can assure that this condo ranks as one of the best. The view is terrific - I don't believe there are any units that are better!! The large balcony allows great views of the Gulf and the swimming pool. The unit is well maintained and appointed and has everything you would ever need for a great vacation stay. My family had a blast as the weather was perfect and the accommodations were just as great. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone and in fact, we will be trying to make it our place to stay on future trips to Destin.

Wonderful Week

Two families with a total of six kids stayed in this condo, and it was perfect! The condo was spacious, comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked with cooking utensils and the balcony view was fantastic!! Loved both the pool and the beach, plus the amenities offered by the resort. Perfect Family Getaway

We loved this condo for its location and setup. With two families, there were king sized beds for the couples and bunk beds for all the kiddos. It was beautifully appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay on the beach. And what a view!!! Not only would we recommend this condo for other families, but we plan on requesting it for our next Destin vacation!
