Spacious and Beautiful Cottage Walking Distance to Downtown

It's amazing how close this pretty cottage was to the shops, restaurants and wine bars in downtown Fredericksburg and yet felt serene and removed from the busy-ness. A 3-5 minute walk put you in the heart of everything. The house was beautifully decorated and well equipped with all of the necessities. Loved the hot tub! The sitting area in the primary bedroom provided a view of a little creek and we saw deer our last night. It was a perfect stay and we'll be back!

This was the perfect place! It was cute, clean and you can't beat the location! Easy walm to main street whe we enjoyed the Christmas lights, the shoppi g and tge food. We watched deer from the balcony and remaxex in the hot tub at night. Will definitely stay bere on our next trip to Fredericksburg.

Great location and easy to walk up town. House was comfortable and well equipped. The back deck was lovely as well. We did not do the winery thing ... hence the 3 average stars ---Th review could not be submitted without it...which is odd. Not everyone comes for the winery experience.

Wonderful Stay In a Great Location

Our girls trip was a blast, and the accommodations were a big part of that. Located just off the main strip, Sandy's was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see, and far enough away not hear the crowds. Sandy's was spacious, incredibly clean, comfortable, and well stocked. When we arrived, we realized there was another unit under us, but as Sandy's is well built, we didn't feel the need to tiptoe around to avoid noise for those below us. Convenient parking was available on a side driveway (steep!) or on the street if needed. The views off of the master balcony were lovely, and the spacious bathroom with double sinks and a beautiful walk in shower were much appreciated. We were a little confused about where the hot tub was due to there being a unit below us, but quickly realized it's around the front then around the side of the house, basically in front of the driveway. Ultimately we ended up not using it, but that was because we were tired from all the other fun we'd had, and I'm sure it would have been as clean and comfortable as the rest of the house. We were impressed by the level of clear communication, and especially by the lack of check out chores required. We would definitely stay again, and have already recommended Sandy's and the other units to friends and family.

This property is such a great find that I almost don’t want to share how perfect it is. It is somehow both peaceful and also just steps from the action. I will be back often.

Beautiful home in great location

This home is in a perfect location. Easy walk to main street and other local restaurants. It's very spacious, clean and well stocked. The beautiful outdoor area is very peaceful.

Relaxing Stay

We came to Fredericksburg for a restful week. This property was perfect for us. It was quiet, the scenery was beautiful and the view of the creek was serene. We would definitely recommend.

Pretty Cabin

Had a quick trip to Fredricksburg with friends. The cabin is pretty, spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub and sitting on the front porch. Couldn’t beat the location. We were close to everywhere we wanted to go.

LOVE THIS PLACE!

My daughter and I stayed at Sandy's Serenity for our yearly trip to Fredericksburg. Out of all the places we've stayed, this one is by far the best. It's in a great location within walking distance of Main, and the neighborhood is so quiet. The house is beautiful and bigger than I expected. The beds are comfortable. Everything from the linens to the towels to the throw blankets are good quality. And, sitting out back watching the deer in the creek is amazing. We will be booking this one again for our trip next year!

Perfect location

Best place

This is our 3rd yr in a row with the same rental home. Itd absolutely amazing.clean ,comfortable and close to main street. It's the only place we use. You guy's do a great service all around.love the check in and out. We cant say enough good things about it.

Relaxing and so walkable!

We so enjoyed our stay at Sandy's Serenity over Thanksgiving! The house was comfortable and welcoming. The views were excellent and we so enjoyed having groceries, shopping and dining within walking distance. We'll definitely be back and being friends for the other homes. Great place to go together but still have your own private space, too.
