Hello! We are Louis and Janie Busch (Mom and Dad), a retired farm couple from Clarksville, MO. When Louis retired from farming (something he never thought he’d do), we decided we weren’t done DOING something. But now we wanted that “something” to involve a little more sun & fun… and a little less cow poop and pesticides. So we sold the farms and decided to stop renting vacation properties – and start buying them.

We are also Heather Busch (soon to be Busch-Cosman) and Jim Cosman. Heather and Jim live in St. Louis and split their time between their day jobs and running Busch Family Properties. Heather runs the business side and Jim does… pretty much everything else. Heather had always wanted to be involved in rental properties and when she and Jim bought and rented out their first property – everyone decided she may have been right all along! She usually is after all. (Can you guess who is writing page?)

As many “How did you come to be here” stories start, a friend invited Mom (Janie) to accompany them to Fort Myers Beach many years ago. One visit became a dozen and here we are now with vacation rental properties of our own!

With each visit we experience that moment of “ah, we’re on beach time now” and we hope you do too. The soft white sand, the lullaby of the surf, and the immediate release of tension between your shoulders – that’s what we love. For us, it has been a place of celebration as well as a place of healing.

We’ve enjoyed exploring and learning about the SW Florida area, the natural as well as the commercial – and we’re happy to share that with you.

With our roots in the South (Jim and Janie are transplanted Southerners), where Southern hospitality is just in our blood, so we love what we do at Busch Family Properties. So… “Y’all come see us now, ya hear!”
