Great location in Amish Country. The check in and out was quick. There is so much supplied in the house we over packed! My mother had a great 88th birthday!

Great vacation spot

Everything was great! Bathroom supplies and kitchen utensils were very well stocked. Check in and out was a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Relaxing family getaway vacation

The cabin was clean and enjoyed the all season room for views of the lake. They had all the necessities in the kitchen and plenty of games for children and adults. Even though we didnt go swimming or kayaking, there was equipment there to use if needed.

Warm and welcoming!

The location is great. There are several restaurants and bars within a few miles. There's also a grocery store, laundromat, gas station, several lakes, and a dam which is loaded with fish. The property is very clean and stocked with just about anything you could want during your stay. It's clear that the property owners take great care of the property and they include so many items for use to make your stay enjoyable. My favorite part of the house is the 3 season porch that faces the lake. The lake was weedy and there was a lot of algae. But the property owner gave full disclosure about the weeds later in the summer, and most lakes throughout Wisconsin are having a huge algae problem this year. Completely out of the control of the owner. My husband and I fished just about every day and caught many fish, some right from the pier, others at the dam in town. We were able to get some much needed relaxation and with the temps being pretty warm, the central air was a huge bonus. Looking forward to visiting again!

Perfect family cabin

We have stayed here 3 times and each time we are just as pleased! They offer everything you need for a little get away! Very clean and the owner is very friendly! We will always come back!

Lovely little home on the lake with its own dock. The owners are very communicative and helpful. We brought our puppy and it was a great experience.

Awesome cottage on Montello Lake

This was our second time staying at the cottage on Montello Lake. The cottage is clean and comfy and the location is perfect! This is one of the best stocked vacation rentals that we have ever been to, and the owner is very responsive. The cottage is close to downtown Montello where you'll find some little shops, restaurants, bars, and grocery store. We always stop to have lunch at Oyster Crackers in Montello when we visit. They have the best homemade soups and sandwiches. We will be back again! :)

Montello Weekend

Our group enjoyed our 3 days stay in Montello Lake while in the area hunting. There was enough space for 5 adults to feel extremely comfortable. Looking forward to a return trip.

Nice Stay

We loved our stay in your lake house on beautiful Lake Montello. My husband really enjoyed being able to kayak! We appreciated all the comforts of home while staying at your property. Cute lakefront cottage

Ideal getaway for a long weekend

The cottage had everything we needed for our 3-night September stay. A super clean little house, comfortable bed, a soothing view of the lake, a bike for my husband to use, some late cherry tomatoes on the vine for an impromptu snack and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Actually, all we needed was the coffeemaker and refrigerator because we were there to enjoy the food that makes Wisconsin famous: broasted chicken, fish fry and a Supper Club steak. The internet was strong and we were able to watch Netflix. Happy times.

Charming Lake house

My family and I enjoyed our stay ( baby and dogs ). There was plenty of space for us. Everything we needed was available. The four season room was perfect when we wanted to enjoy the night breeze without getting ravaged by mosquitoes. A perfect long weekend stay.

Relaxing weekend away

The house is located right on the lake. The beds were comfortable. It was really nice to have the 1/2 bath in the second bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The host responded quickly to my questions. It was exactly what we needed! We would stay here again.

Peaceful and lake view

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was a perfect size for 3 adults and an infant. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds comfy. My favorite place was the four season porch where I enjoyed my morning coffee with a side of lake view. My son and DIL took the kayaks out for a successful spin on the lake. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Relaxing stay on Montello Lake

Nice relaxing stay in a cute little cabin. We were in between the closing of selling our house and moving into our new house. We stayed 5 nights. Macy thought of most everything one might need to stay. We experienced the most beautiful sunrises each morning. We had a fire in the firepit since the weather was perfect. The neighbors on each side were very friendly. Our dog, Blue enjoyed long walks through the neighborhood enjoying nature as well. Restaurants in the area are warm and inviting. We have recommended staying here to our family and friends and maybe someday we would stay here again as well. Thank you for a great experience.

ladies weekend to relax, chill and have fun

Home looks exactly like pictures and owner was VERY responsive and easy to work with. The house was clean and organized. Kitchen was really nice and 3 season room was awesome. The electric fire place was a hit due to some colder nights! We would rent again!! Would only suggest the owner put in more details about what is and is not available. Example: Hair dryer was available and house came with additional Toilet paper etc. Its good to know what is at home and what is expected to bring along. We had a really nice weekend!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at the cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The shoreline was full of vegetation so I recommend bringing a boat if your visit includes fishing. The town of Montello was very close and had some decent restaurants and stores for anything you may have forgotten. I would definitely visit again.
