The Host Paulo was very quick to response to any issues or questions. Location and area was great! Parking not included, but near by, with 3rd floor parking garage open patio with great view of the bridge, river and Porto. Beds were very comfortable, bed linen and towels were good quality.However, the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. No space for movement and mold in all leaking showers.

The bathrooms could use a good scrubbing. The air worked great. The host was very nice.The lock didn’t work on our arrival and the host tried to fix it and didn’t, so we repaired the lock our selvesLocation is perfect to enjoy Porto

Appartement très bien situé. Assez grand pour 4 adultes et 3 enfants, lit de bébé et chaise haute disponibles aussi. Localisation vaut beaucoup pour la note.Par contre, évidemment qu'être proche du centre-ville fait qu'on entend beaucoup le bruit. La musique jusqu'à 2h am qui venait de l'autre côté de l'eau. De plus, le logement aurait pu être plus propre, c'est-à-dire que les murs des douches étaient sales et il y avait ce qui ressemblait à de la moisissure sur les bas de mur dans les chambres.

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Porto!À proximité des transports en commun mais tout se fait très bien à pied aussi. Il y a eu quelques nuits plus bruyantes (spectacles et motos) mais dans l’ensemble c’était assez calme. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accommodants. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Lovely Porto

We really enjoyed our stay here - each room has its own bathroom, the location is absolutely breathtaking and it’s very clean and well equipped. However, there was construction happening right next door with very loud noises from 8 AM to 6 PM. Also, be very careful parking on the street. Our rental car had significant damage from a rock thrown from the nearby bridge.

Fantastic location for nice weather

The location is fantastic!! The apartment has 3 bedrooms and each one has a bathroom, which is great! The owner was very responsive when we called late at night because the apartment was VERY cold. The owner brought blankets. The apartment was VERY cold and the little heaters in the rooms were useless. The heating unit on the wall in the kitchen barely put out any heat so it didn’t help at all. The weather was very cold the weekend we were there so heat would have been appreciated. The towels provided were threadbare and very old. My only other comment is that the cleaning products used had a very strong smell - too strong which triggered headaches. I fully appreciate that the owner cleaned the apartment so well because the place was very clean but maybe open the windows to reduce the smell of the cleaning products. This place would be great in summer and nice weather when windows can be open and heat isn’t needed. Again, fantastic location and the owner is very nice, helpful and responsive.

Location , location,location, great apartment

Clean, fabulous location, lots of room for two couples. We had difficulty trying to figure out the door lock system, so contacted Paulo. He was there within 10 minutes. We want to stay here again.

Great Location

Property needs updated amenities, cleanliness was so so, extra blanket did not look clean. Beds are not comfortable but the view is wonderful. The property owner was super nice. Complimentary bottle of port wine was sweet. With a little more effort this could be a great place.

This is the PERFECT spot

This property is RIGHT NEXT to the Luis I bridge in Gaia. We were treated to the view of Porto in all of her glory—truly breathtaking especially at sunrise and sunset—and could walk across the bridge and get right into the thick of things in 10 min. Hosts were very accommodating and staying in Gaia was definitely the right call in terms of getting out of the crowds when it was time to take a breather.As a family of 4 with 2 adult children, everyone having their own bathroom was much appreciated. We also had a car and the parking garage located less than 1 min away was clutch with in and out privileges when you downloaded the app (Telpark). Be aware — while renovations were new, the building is a little older and the heating could have been a little better during our stay, it took a little time to get the apartment to a comfortable temperature at night. That said, an excellent value and we would absolutely start again when we return to the region.

Relaxing across from Porto

Comfortable home located river side across from Porto. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms en-suite made the bath routine easy for 6 adults. Paulo meet/check us in and super helpful with guiding us with the Mercedes van rental into the structure across the street. We were able to easily walk over and explore Porto. In Gaia the port houses have tasting rooms and for our stay it was an Italian street fair/food & music- super fun

Great Location - Very Functional

Stayed in Porto a few days with family to visit some of the sites. The location of this property and its 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms made it very convenient and functional. The kitchen area and table were large and useful. Don't worry about the proximity and noise to the main area. Didn't find that to be an issue and the windows provided a quiet sleep at night. Being just steps from the restaurants and bridge to cross the Douro made this a great option.

Pre Camino.

We had 3 days to relax and enjoy Porto before we started our walk. Our place was wonderful! Location was perfect and the owners were super nice. While we waited to check in we were able to leave our luggage at the apartment and have some lunch. Highly recommended!!!

Can't beat the location

The location of this property is great. You literally look over the river from bedroom windows. There are many restaurants nearby and the best was the quality buskers who were singing every evening. The apartment was clean and bedrooms were sufficient size. The living area was small but if you're out and about all day, it doesn't matter. The only downside to this apt was the ensuite bathrooms. They were functional but really needed a remodel. All in all, the location and price made up for the less than optimal bathrooms. I would stay there again.

Logement idéale pour visiter Porto à 3 couples

Idéalement situé au pied du Pont Luis à 2 pas des caves de villa nova de Gaia. Ces 3 chambres chacune dotée d'une salle de bain avec douche et WC sont idéales pour 3 couples avec chacun son autonomie. Le propriétaire répond rapidement à vos demandes et est très arrangeant notamment pour garder vos bagages en cas de départ tardif, encore merci. Je recommande.

Bel appartement avec situation exceptionnelle

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L'appartement est spacieux et très bien situé. Un accès à un parking à 10m est fourni, ce qui est très appréciable.

Sehr schöne Wohnung und super nette Gastgeber

Wohnung war super schön und die Lage am Fluss war wunderschön;). Alles perfekt geklappt. Die Gastgeber waren auch super nett und seht schnell per SMS oder Anruf zu erreichen. Einfach ein wundervoller Aufenthalt.
