Coming from the perspective of a solo female who has travelled to numerous places in the US & abroad:
The property is close to downtown Phoenix, which was great since I came in for a work conference at the convention center. It is close to ASU campus and a few blocks away the neighborhood seems quite lovely, I did walk back and forth to downtown during the day. However, this house was in a little bit of a rough spot so I did not feel comfortable walking there at night.
There was a picture in the listing that made it seem like the property was either in or around a larger structure (assumed to be a complex with numerous units or condos), but that picture is actually a building a mile or so away. Also, the listing shows pictures from two units, which I did not realize until I got there and went back through. I would suggest separating the photos in the listing for more accuracy.
Overall cleanliness was OK. I did have an issue with the AC unit where the cover fell off and the power button seemed to cave in. I messaged the property manager and they did come by the property to look at it and get the AC working again. I noticed that they secured the cover back on with electrical tape, which... was kind of par for the course here.
I feel like this property has great potential and in a few years, with an expanding downtown, the neighborhood may be great. But, I wouldn't stay there again alone.
