Our cottage sits on the backwaters of the Mississippi River, where the pace is slower, the sunsets are better, and life feels a little easier. With our three adult children out in the world, we now spend our time enjoying river life, boating, relaxing with friends & family and soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds us. Our dog Raina is always along for the ride and loves it here as much as we do.
We’ve created a quiet, comfortable space that’s perfect for adults looking to unwind—whether it’s sipping coffee while watching the river flow, enjoying sunset cruises, or spending cozy evenings around the fire. This area has always felt like home—close to family, surrounded by nature, and right on the beautiful Mississippi River. With a long love of boating and time on the water, expanding to this cabin in 2024 was a natural next step. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, explore the backwaters, and share the simple joys of river life with others.
