Thank you for sharing your feedback. We wanted to provide a little more context regarding your concerns. Regarding the beach, the lifeguards typically designate a surfing area farther south. At times, they may also create a surf access path or restrict swimming in certain areas if conditions are unsafe, such as when there are potential rip currents. In most cases, children are still able to swim just a short distance north of the designated surf area, although we understand that this may have been farther than the grandparents were comfortable walking or keeping within view. As for the elevator, our guests are always welcome to reach out before their stay if they would like to confirm the elevator dimensions to ensure a wheelchair will fit comfortably, as wheelchair sizes can vary. The hot tub is adjustable up to 104 but the controls are not intuitive. The manual is in the house. If there are leaks anywhere, please let me know where so I can address them. It does not rain in San Diego very often, but if a roof tile has failed we need to know about it. Thanks
