We had a great stay. Communication with Angel and Mariam was prompt and they have great recommendations for activities around the island. There are so many pools you can usually have one to yourself! The beach is quiet and private, too.

The place was nice to stay. Needed more towels. The only annoyance was having to wait in line every time we needed to return to the complex. We have stayed at other gated communities where there is a separate entrance for those that are already checked in but if we were behind someone that was checking in we would have to wait. On vacation time is money!! Other than that great stay!

2018 Family Vacation

Overall we had an awesome time because we made it happen! My family and I have rented homes several times, however this villa was not prepared for visitors at all. It definitely needed to be clean and should be stocked up with suppy. There was hair everywhere (bathroom tub and floor, the beds, everywhere). We actually changed the sheets and purchased new sheets. We purchased our own sponge to clean the one pot and spoon we used because all cutlery, pots and pans either had food residue or was in horrible condition and should have been tossed out long time ago. I purchased Clorox Bathroom Spray to clean the entire shower, toilet and sink. We also found ourselves purchasing toilet tissue and bath soap. All homeowners usually supply all of this stuff and more. We had to buy hand soap for the bathroom, it was just ridiculous. And to top all of that, I still felt the need to leave it clean before checking out because that's just how my family is. I swept all rooms, washed, dried all linens and towels used, cleaned the entire bathroom and left everything we purchased behind. We should have never been charged for a cleaning fee. The kids loved the pool, the beach was beautiful and the entire property was amazing. Maintenance staff was always around taking care of the grounds. Staff at the entrance was very sweet. I would also say we appreciated the owner for allowing us to check out later than usual due to our late flight, it was very accommodating.

After one month I am extremely surprise to receive for the first time in 10 years this type of review, communication was always open and never receieve a call regarding this issue, We would call our maid to check the situation and make the changes if applicable. My recommendation is that in the future you address any concerns innmediatly and wait one month later to inform the Host. Thanks for your interest in our property

Not clean

First let me start by saying Aquatika is a wonderful complex for the family. This was our second time there but unfortunately the first unit I rented was not available for my recent trip to PR. As for Angels unit I will share that the rental process went smooth and there was great communication. We were having problems getting wifi which was necessary to be able to access my work and kids their school board. Angel immediately called the cable company and fixed the problem. Other then that the unit was a huge disappointment. When I travel and use a condo that is "ready to be rented"..... I expect it to be clean. This unit was not. There was hair and sand in both showers and I don't want to even get into the bed linens or mattresses. The kitchen was not adequately equipped with the necessary tools. Old rusty untencils and no bbq tools. The BBQ had old food on it as well. The beach gear was awful too. Old broken toys and a broken cooler. Umbrella was broken and well. I was also very disappointed with the patio furniture. I was hoping to sit on the deck in the early morning and evening but that wasn't happening with moldy cushions. As for furniture inside ottoman was all ripped up and the couch was dirty as well as the throw pillows. I myself have a rental property in NY and I would never leave my proper in the condition this unit was in. I know it's courteous to leave food behind if you didn't use it but expired condiments by over a year is not ok. We didn't allow this to ruin or time but I was absolutely disappointed and don't feel this unit was worth much money to rent at all. I feel really bad leaving a review like this but I'm sure if u keep a neat home you won't be comfortable in this unit.

Super condo!

Le condo est situé sur un resort parfait pour les familles. Les enfants peuvent jouer dans les 5 piscines, glissade d'eau, parc, mini-golf et sans oublier la plage privée du resort. Le condo est propre et bien équipé et les 3 chambres sont confortables. Les propriétaires ont été super gentils avec nous! Je vous recommande cet endroit sans hésitation.

Perfect for families

We had an awesome 10 day stay. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. We were 8 and never felt crowded. The TV in the kids room is a plus! The kids had a blast in the pools, right outside the building. The grounds are well kept, pools are cleaned daily. Aquatika's location is ideal for us. Just 5 minutes from Rt 66, Walmart and the outlet mall. Old San Juan is about a 1/2 hour drive. El Yunque is a short drive away. We felt safe at all times. There is 24 hour security and there is a police station right outside the complex. We will definitely stay here again.

Affordable and Completely Comfortable

The listing and pictures are very accurate and the property is clean and well maintained. Angel and Mariam are very responsive, friendly and accomadating. The location away from San Juan, about 20 minutes makes it affordable and quiet, but still easy drives to get to anywhere. I will highly recommend to family and friends

Great place for a family to stay and play

From the start Angel was responsive to all our questions, he met us at the car rental location in Isla Verde in the middle of the night and had us follow him in the car all the way to Aquatika, which was very helpful. The apartment is clean, spacious and well furnished with everything a family would need for a relaxing fun vacation, the kitchen has all the appliances you'd need, the bedrooms are spacious and clean, there are plenty of linens and towels, Angel set up a pack and play for us and the big gas BBQ on the balcony tops it all off. The pool starts right outside your door and continues through the complex, there are different play areas, basketball courts, hot tubs and a water slide (open on the weekends). At the North end of the gated complex is an exit to the beach, which although it can be accessed by the public is still pretty quiet and peaceful. You would need to rent a car to get anywhere as there is nothing else to do or see in the immediate vicinity but as a home base we were very happy with our choice and we all had a great time.

Amaizing vacation in PR (Loiza)

We been very happy that we end up renting property above for our winter getaway from cold New York. Resort territory is very nice maintained. Pools are clean and warm. Resort has a private beach. Small but not crowded at all and very good sandy beach. We had an impression that it 30% occupied only but it gives you unbelievable feeling of privacy. Comparing with crowded Dominican Republic and Jamaica all inclusive hotels it very peaceful and relaxing establishment. We been able to swim at pools any time during the evening including night time. Geographic location of property is a bonus. 11 Miles from Rainforest, you can swim in a waterfalls, go for a hiking trip or enjoy view, 30-40 min ride from Old San Juan, close to many zip-line tours(Rainforest zip-line was great). Amazing barbeque 10 min ride from property on Road 3 (El Verde BBQ), Good Seafood in Liquido kiosks. Condo was clean and nice, had all necessaries for cooking even baking. Owners been very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely comeback to same place in a feature.

amazing and affordable

The pictures matched the place. The space was clean and comfortable. The owners met us at the car rental gave us the keys and great info on the freeways and stores in our area. They were kind and if I needed anything they were prompt to respond and take care of my needs. The kids had a blast at the pools. The warm evenings sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool was one of our best times. The location of the condo was great and beach access was just outside the private gates we thought that was pretty amazing. We made ourselves at home and would go back again. The condo sleeps 8 and yes there was 8 of us. If you want great rates and an amazing family vacation this is it!!

Best Vacation Ever!!!

I was able to stay at this beautiful property with my family of 7 , each of us enjoyed the amenities of the apartment, AC Central, wash & dryer, 3 TV set no fights between the kids, they even had movies for us to see and play station 2 for the kids, fully equipped kitchen , comfortable beds, relaxing balcony view while we were doing BBQ, the facilities are gorgeous, Mariam and Angel were great hosts and available all the time while we were booking the apartment, we definitely recommend this apartment and will come back in 2013.

Awesome Condo

Mariam and her husband were great. Any questions I had they were willing to answer. The condo was beautiful and she had everything that we needed. We had family stay in other Condos and they loved ours the best. I would recommend this condo to anyone.
