The place was wonderful, everything we could have wanted to a multi family beach vacation. The location was honestly my favorite one in the community. I liked being one house back from the beach for privacy but also being so close whenever we wanted to swim. The dock is the best feature of the property. Snorkeling was great right off the dock and I don’t think we missed a day on our entire 14 day vacation. So convenient for diving pick ups also. Any small issues we had were immediately addressed. Our shower head wasn’t working and within a day of us mentioning it they installed a new one. We had water delivered promptly any time we ran out. It was a dream vacation, only wish we could do this every year!

Nice house

It was a nice house and Costa del Sol is the perfect neighborhood to stay in. We all had to shower downstairs because there was no hot water upstairs but we told Patty and I’m sure they will fix.

Our home away from home!

Tango Del Mar is the absolute best get away for my family and I. We have stayed here twice now and can't say enough wonderful things about the area, the property, the owners, and the staff on site! This place is the perfect get away for our family of divers... The house is fantastic, the grounds are BEAUTIFUL, the pool and beach area are pristine, and we have the convenience of getting picked up for our diving on the pier that is part of the property! The feel is very laid back and relaxing :)It's our home away from home and we will definitely be back soon!!

Vacation in community living!

This was our first time at Costa Del Sol. Due to our last minute trip planning, we had the opportunity to stay in two differnet villas during our stay. The transition from one villa to the other (literally 10 steps away) was seamless. The property manager was very accomodating to our time schedule. The beach, the pool, the sun deck...all of it was perfect for our family. Thank you!

Perfect for Family/Groups, especially with Divers

Tango Del Mar is a excellent villa for a family vacation. It is in great condition, all the rooms are large, AC works very well, it has a well-equipped kitchen, and washer & dryer. No real ocean views but a very short walk to the pool, small beach, and pier. Dive boats can pick up/drop off at the pier which is very convenient. Safe and interesting snorkeling just off the beach. Outside shower at the villa with hooks to dry gear. Grounds are gated and well-maintained. Property managers at Your Cozumel were organized and helped with all our needs from car rental to covid testing. You do need a car to get to town for restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fabulous villa!

We recently stayed at Villa Tango Del Mar and it was a fantastic experience. Mayra did an excellent job taking care of us. The house was perfect for our party of 7 (5 adults and 2 17 yr olds). It was a short walk to the ocean and tucked off to the side to give a little privacy. The grounds were quiet, inviting, and beautiful. There is a small sheltered beach which is great for little kids, a small pool, and a pier to jump off of or be picked up from for snorkeling/dive excursions. Renting a vehicle is helpful, because it’s far enough from town to make taxis inconvenient (but still possible). We got a minivan for our group and enjoyed several trips to town (for restaurants, groceries, and shopping) and other points of interest around the island. We cooked breakfast, and a couple dinners at home (having a grill there was a bonus). We absolutely loved our week here!

Paradise Getaway

I will get right to the point, you will not be disappointed with this rental. Everything was better than we could of imagined and as pictured. Location is perfect for exploring the south part of the island. If you are not familiar with the island it is important to understand that it is located about 10-15 mins south of the main town area. Was not a problem for us as we had transportation arranged. If you have more than 4 in the group a rental car or van would make back and forth driving no problem. Taxi come this way just not as frequent. Communication with the owners and staff was amazing and we will be coming back. Highly recommend.

Tango Del Mar

Absolutely loved the place. Incredible views, less than a minute walk to the beach, and the house was amazing. Well kept up and the staff were so friendly and nice when they’d come in the clean and did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible. I can’t think of a single thing I would change about any of it. Loved being in a location outside the main town but only a few minute drive in. The pier was perfect to hop on the scuba boat in the morning and the ocean area at the resort had some pretty good snorkeling as well. Patti was great and happy to help in any way. Arianna and Teresa were prompt, friendly, and did a great job cleaning up as well. Props to Amber and Rodrigo for running a tight ship and making sure all needs were met. Also Rosalie has great taste In decor which makes you feel at home with a tropical flare. Thanks for everything!

Dream Vacation

We just spent a week at Tango del Mar and had the most incredible vacation! The main living area is spacious and beautifully furnished. We only used two of the three huge bedrooms but the main floor master was perfect for me and my husband and the upstairs master was perfect for our son and daughter-in-law. Having Chef Filo come in for most of the week was a true luxury! If you want to do your own cooking, the kitchen is very well stocked. We loved the pool and the beach and had a great time kayaking and snorkeling. Part of the group we were with (they stayed at Casa Calypso - also amazing) went diving and got picked up right at the pier. The staff at Costa del Sol was also great - friendly and always asking if we needed anything. We never used the phone but having the option of calling the US at no charge was an added bonus. It's not in town so I would recommend a car but the drive is easy and you'll want a car to explore the rest of the island. We miss having our coffee on the beach every morning and can't wait to come back.

Dear Ann, Thank you for this great review! "Dream Vacation" is exactly what we're striving for when we prepare Villa Tango for our guests! I love Tango because it's spacious for 8 to 10 guests, but, as you said, very comfortable for 2-4 people. We furnished it as our own "playful beach house," so the furniture, decorations, and kitchen equipment were all selected with that in mind. It sounds like you took advantage of all that the house and property offers, with Chef Filo to prepare luscious meals so you could relax (that's important!) the pool, the pier, and morning coffee on the beach. what could be better! I'll pass your compliments on to the staff. They take a great deal of pride in the services they offer. Enjoy the memories! When you're ready, we'd love to have you back for your next vacation. Relaxing week at Villa Tango Del Mar

We stayed at Villa Tango Del Mar for 7 glorious days and wished we had stayed a little longer! It is a beautiful home that is very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was nicely equipped with gadgets and had a nice selection of spices. All of the beach towels and sand toys were also much appreciated. We had 2 families and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. This was particularly nice because it rained here and there during the week so it was nice to have a home to relax in and not be cramped in a hotel room. This was our 5th trip to Cozumel and we have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts but this was much better and cheaper! The Costa del Sol community is very nice, feels very safe and secure and everyone was very friendly. Snorkeling right off the beach was great-we saw eels, rays, and a wide variety of fish. Rosalie was a pleasure to work with and Amber and Rodrigo were awesome to work with on the island. They met us at the airport and Amber even got a birthday cake and candles for husbands birthday! We had a wonderful week and will return.

Great villa to enjoy Cozumel from

We love Mexico vacations and have been to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Ixtapa ….but nothing compares to Cozumel! And staying in the Villa Tango Del Mar on a secure compound was amazing. The villa was huge, built to US quality standards with top-notch construction and furnishings. This villa was cleaner than I had ever experienced in Mexico. The second floor had a great balcony with a BBQ, chaise lounge chairs and a really cool hammock, and of course – a great view of the ocean sunsets. If you dive, the dive boat will pick up you from the properties private dock in the morning on their way to Palancar Reef. And since the villa is practically in the National marine park, you’re to the dive site in minutes rather than the long haul from town. Not into diving (my wife is not), no problem as there is fantastic snorkeling just off the private dock. After diving or sunbathing the pool is a nice refresher. We originally discovered Tango Del Mar (they name all the villas) through our close friends who invited us along to join them a few years back. We were surprise how reasonable the cost was, and this was our second time there. You just can’t have more fun with your friends or family for such an affordable price!

Five stars all the way around

This is a beautiful property in a quiet community. It was everything we were hoping for. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the A/C worked great and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the quiet beach out front and the fact that boats were able to pick us up at the private dock. The balcony was a great place to gather and relax and we loved having a bbq so we could grill our fresh caught mahi mahi. The owners were easy to communicate with, Amber and Rodrigo were great at answering our questions and helping us plan our stay, and Enrique was amazing in meeting our day to day needs and requests. The other staff around the property were also very friendly. If you want to be walking distance to town, this may not be the property for you, but we didn't mind driving in to dinner each night. It was the perfect place for our mostly adult children and us to relax and enjoy our vacation together. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Great stay.

As advertised. Very clean and great layout. Plenty of utensils for preparing meals if that's your thing. Rent a car or get a taxi to town. Excellent support on site or very close. Great pier for jumping into the ocean to snorkel or just float. Boats can pickup divers/fisherman. Clean easy access pool. Will return.

Best Place to Stay

We LOVED this place. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. Beds and furniture are super comfortable. Kitchen has everything you could need. Friendly helpful staff, Mayra our property manager was easy to contact and checked up with us a few times. She even scheduled our CoVid test for us.

Best place in Cozumel

From initial communication to the last day, everything was perfect and amazing. The place was clean, huge, steps from the beach and pool. The community was welcoming and friendly. So many people willing to help. No matter if we needed water, ice, planned excursions, directions, reservations etc…our concierge made it happen usually within minutes. The property and entire community was beautiful and we will definitely be back again. We loved being not in the middle of downtown, but only a 15 min drive into town. The quiet beach was perfect for our group. So glad I came across this listing!

Beautiful Christmas vacation

Enjoyed the villa. Clean, comfy and Enrique was super helpful scheduling massages, housecleaning etc. Amber had the groceries purchased and waiting for us! Car rental a breeze. Was truly awesome.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We started vacationing in Cozumel 15 years ago--it is a beautiful island and very safe for our children and grandchildren. Now they're grown and also love diving. Some of the best dive sites in the world are right out our front door. The boat picks us up at the dock and we're diving Cozumel's spectacular reefs within minutes! The property is gated and private, yet is only a short drive to town.
