Designed as a family retreat within close proximity to Shell Beach

Unit 24 Lot 37. This comfortable ocean meadow home has many classic Sea Ranch details including interior redwood walls with large windows to enjoy the ocean view and the meadow wildlife. Curl up in one of the four large window seats to enjoy the whitewater view, the scurrying quail or the migration of the pelicans. A short walk will take you to Shell Beach, some of the best Sea Ranch tide pools, the seal rookery or the children’s playground at One Eyed Jack’s House. A short drive will take you to one of the pools, tennis and pickleball courts.


The 2-Story house includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with full tub/showers. The primary and second bedroom each have a king bed. The 3rd bedroom is a large room with 4 built in bunk beds (all extra long twin size). The house has an open second story den with a 42 inch flat screen TV. Living Room includes a wood burning fireplace surrounded by window seats. The kitchen has an electric stainless-steel range with double oven. The house is very well equipped for large dinners with family and friends seating up to 10. Sliding glass doors lead to a deck and private patio with propane BBQ. An outdoor hot water shower is a favorite feature with kids and their parents! Additional provisions include two baby gates, a crib, a high chair and a booster seat – for the youngest set.


There is an attached two car garage with a private parking area next to the house. Juice Box 40 Level 2 EV Charger available for use. Free WIFI available. Free unlimited local and long distance calling. Our home is pet friendly for one dog. Please do not leave the dog unsupervised in the home while you are away. We hope that you will enjoy your time at Sea Ranch to build your own wonderful adventures and memories.


BED LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED WITH THIS RENTAL. Please note -No hot tub.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 2-car garage available. No RV's.
Maximum occupancy is 8 for this home.

This is a stunning house in typical Sea Ranch style with great sea views and located in a beautiful neighborhood. It has an authentic, warm atmosphere, lots of daylight and a wonderful gathering space. Linen and towels are not normally included but can be added for a fee. Check-in is normally at the rental office in nearby Gualala, but they were kind enough to bring the packet to the site on our day of arrival. Very friendly communication, highly recommended.

We loved the place- 1970’s vibes especially. The nearby Shell Beach was perfect for us. Dinner at the Lodge was excellent. Everything aesthetically pleasing , as one expects from the Sea Ranch.

Beautiful Location, Cozy Home

We had a wonderful stay and would rent this property again. It's a bit dated, but still quite lovely. The location can NOT be beat. Everything you need to enjoy Sea Ranch is at the house. It's obviously a well loved old family vacation home. My only recommendation is to definitely bring your own towels if you can. The towel service is skimpy. But the beds are super comfy and the toilet paper was oddly lush!

Good Location Near Shell Beach with a Garage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented many different homes at Sea Ranch in the past for different types of trips (biking, golf, diving). Trips with my wife and daughter always include our three e-bikes to ride the connected roads that only run through the northern half of Sea Ranch. This home is right in the middle of that stretch of homes/roadway, and it is walking distance to Shell Beach. A big plus for us when we bring our bikes is the included access to the two-car garage for easy bike storage during our stay. Not having a hot tub would prevent me from choosing this home for a dive trip stay at Sea Ranch during the colder/wetter winter months.

Kitchen is on the smaller side, but completely workable. Also nice that you have access to two car garage to park and to store excess things while staying there. One of the best features is the location. So near to Shell Beach, tide pools (now closed so just an overlook) and only 5 minutes to town. Enjoy!!

Plenty of room, and the perfect location. 5 minute (or less) walk to the beach AND to the playground. The house itself was great as usual. We used the fireplace for the first time and it was an added bonus! If you're a family looking for a great vacation home in an even better location, this is it!

Our bed was comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the appliances all worked. The window seats and pillows were placed lovely, but could have been cleaner, as there were stains on both and bugs on the window sills and seats. There was very little storage space for our items, as we stayed for two weeks. I'd recommend having more guest storage in the kitchen cupboards. The garage door was very difficult for me to open and close, as it was heavy and too high for me to reach without standing on a chair. Beach Rentals staff were very accommodating, professional, and pleasant. I would recommend them again for sure!

Quail View is a great rental!

Love the location right above shell beach and around the corner from One Eye’d Jacks playground. Did not interact with rental company during our stay as no issues arose. We did request extra sheets just days before our arrival and they had every set up before we arrived. Also, this house has a beautiful 360° glass fireplace in the center of the living room. We requested that the glass be cleaned before our arrival since this is a dramatic focal point of the house. The rental company commented at our arrival that they confirmed that cleaners took care of it, and it looked great! Only draw back (and really not a big deal) is that the kitchen is on the “cozier” side. But it is totally functional. And the dishwasher is a little difficult to get started but we finally succeeded. House was clean and orderly. A few cobwebs high up around the windows but typical of most houses at Sea Ranch. We used the SR dog park and liked it very much. Thanks!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental home is very dated with a wood-burning stove taking up a large portion of the living area and which leaked during our very rainy week. There is one chair and some window seats but no other furniture in the living area. There is no fenced area for your pet. The beds in the bunk bedroom are old and provide no support. It is is a good location, though, near Shell Beach and Walk On Beach. The owners should consider updating the home. We will avoid this rental in the future.
