Promissed parking was not possible

The holiday flat is nicely located and in walking distance to the old town. It's charming with old furnitures but definitely needs some renovation soon! When we booked the flat the description read that parking is included (total rent paid included 50 EUR parking fee). However, at arrival free parking was NOT provided. Instead, we only could park at the street for 1 EUR per hour (12 EUR per day). We tried by several methods to contact the owner of the flat but were unsuccessful. We also contacted "Fe-Wo direct" but got no response to our complaint.

Kommunikation vor Ort schwierig

Unter den angegebenen Telefonnummern war niemand zu erreichen oder es nahm niemand den Anruf entgegen. Es half nur ein Anruf in der Zentrale. Unsere Fahrräder mussten mehrfach umgestellt werden, weil dafür, kein Stellplatz ausgewiesen war.

Unprofessionell, nicht empfehlenswert

Alte, teilweise kaputte Möbel. Klimaanlage in einem Schlafzimmer funktioniert nicht, wodurch das Zimmer aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen nicht genutzt werden konnte. Geschirr, Besteck teilweise nicht schmutzig. Sicherung flog bei Benutzung des Wasserkochers raus. Apartmenttür liess sich von aussen mit dem Schlüssel nicht öffnen. Der Verwalter musste uns Zugang mit einer Plastikkarte verschaffen. Der zugesagte Techniker erschien nie. Wollten wir das Apartment betreten, müssten wir den Verwalter vorher informieren, damit er uns die Tür"aufbricht". Verwalter vor Ort antwortet nur sehr verspätet oder gar nicht auf Anrufe oder SMS. Kontaktaufnahme über fe-wo-Portal auch nicht besser.

Schlechteste Wohnung aller Zeiten

Bezahlter Stellplatz nicht vorhanden, trotz Tel. keine Hilfe bei Stromausfall der Wohnung, weder TV noch W-Lan funktioniert, 2 Räume ohne Klima, Möblierung uralt und defekt, Geschirr und Gläser schmutzig, Besteck noch schlechter als billigstes Campingmaterial,Töpfe völlig unzumutbar, Tischplatte Wohnzimmer wackelig. Wir haben dieses "Domizil" nach 3 Tagen aufgegeben, es war nicht zu ertragen.

Hard to find a better location in Verona

A wonderful apartment only 500m from the historic centre, but in a quiet residential road away from the hustle and bustle. Ideally suited to short breaks in a wonderful city where there is always something going on. Air conditioning for the heat of the summer and heating for those cool autumn nights works well. Wifi is available but a little patchy and quite slow. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and there is a bar and coffee shop just down the street. Supermarket within 300m is quite good and there’s another one a little further away. Fantastic value apartment overall and would happily stay again.

Goede ligging maar mist aandacht

Het appartement ligt goed om te voet het oude centrum van Verona te bezoeken. Het is ruim, wifi goed en airco in ouderslaapkamer en woonkamer. De inrichting en onderhoud is echter heel ouderwets en achterstallig. Jammer, met een beetje aandacht zou dit mooie plek kunnen zijn.

Close to center, spacious

This place is not very clean. A toilet and kitchen taps are not functioning smoothly, the toilet nozzle is malfunctionig, kitchen appliances are quite old and not fixed/tuned up. A parking lot in front of the house is paid and not reserved for the apartament. We had some problems with communicating with sms or by telephone, what caused some delay with admission. There was additional limit with electricity consumption (the number was not clear) we were not aware of. Place is close to center at walking distance. So we could enjoy easy walks and soak atmosphere of Verona city. Thank for all help: Chris, Bozena and boys Igor and Tymon

large old fashioned

we enjoyed our stay with the property being a 20 minute walk to the old town, and in a quiet safe area. The downside for us was, blankets on the bed which i have never had since 1932, shower in the bath with curtain was a bit of a pain, and little things like grubby place mats, broken bin lid. But overall it was good, perhaps 25 days there was too long

Tolle Lage, Ausstattung renovierungsbedürftig

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wirklich toll, nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum, ÖPNV-Anschluss sehr gut. Die Ausstattung ist min. 40 Jahre alt, besonders die Küche inkl. Schrankinhalt und Geräte bedarf einer Runderneuerung bzw. Austausch.

Ideale Wohnung für den Verona-Besuch

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, sehr gross für 3 Leute, im 4.Stock mit Aufzug. Alles wie beschrieben, die Küche gut ausgerüstet (wir haben unser Essen grossteils selber zubereitet). Der Empfang von Gioacchino war sehr herzlich, er hat uns alles gezeigt. Einkaufen kann man im nahegelegenen "Micgros" (5 Minuten) oder im etwas grösserem Supermarkt "Pam" (10 Minuten zu Fuss) Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar, z.B. Piazza delle Erbe in ca. 10 Minuten, bis zur Arena sind es ca.15. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen sehr zu empfehlen, für uns 3 fast zu gross. Einen herzlichen Dank an Stella und Gioacchino !!

A great place to stay

This apartment is perfect for staying in Verona. It's a short walk to the centre of the old town. Clean and comfortable with good communication with the owner. We would certainly stay here again.

Große Ferienwohnung in idealer Lage

Positiv: Große Ferienwohnung, zentral gelegen, mit gutem WLAN, schöner Balkon, aber leider ohne Mobiliar; sehr netter Herr, der uns eingewiesen hat. Negativ: Dusche, da überhaupt kein Druck und entweder heißes oder kaltes Wasser; Wolldecken als Zudecken sind heute nicht mehr zeitgemäß, da sollte man in etwas Besseres investieren; das Gläsersortiment könnte größer sein. Fazit: Mit kleinen Änderungen könnte man eine große Verbesserung erreichen.

tolle Wohnung in Top-Lage

Wir verbrachten hier einige Tage als Familie. Die Wohnung ist herrlich groß und 2 Räume sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet, was bei 37 °C wirklich sehr angenehm war. Wir wurden gut betreut und konnten jederzeit bei Fragen rasch mit der Besitzerin bzw. einem Freund der Besitzerin Kontakt aufnehmen. Die Lage ist super. Wir konnten Verona zu Fuß erkunden. Man ist innerhalb von wenigen Minuten im Stadtzentrum. Wegen der Hitze waren wir auch mehrmals am nahegelegenen Gardasee in Bardolino. Unterkunft empfehlenswert für Familie mit größeren Kindern. _______________________________ We spent here a couple of days with family. The apartment is wonderfully large and 2 rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which was really pleasant at 37 ° C. We were well cared and could get in contact quickly at any time for questions with the owner or a friend of the owner. The location is great. We could explore Verona on foot. It takes only a few minutes to go to the city center. Because of the heat we were also several times at the nearby Lake Garda in Bardolino. Accommodation is recommended for family with larger children.

Strategic, clean and simple

The flat is like the description: rooms are huge, the furniture are quite old but clean, the kitchen is equipped with a big fridge and microwave. The position is very strategic, 5 minutes walking from the historic center, the area is quiet and safe also by night, we were with our children ( 4 and 7). The bus stop is just in front of the building. I can recommend it.
