This is the quintessential Maine cottage on a lake. The view of Heart Lake was beautiful and the cottage is located close to cute coastal towns and Acadia National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I can't say enough good things about this place! It's beautiful inside and out!Maine weather wasn't our friend the first two days, but having a cozy place to come back to every day was fantastic!Everything you need is there, it's super clean, the bed is sooooo comfortable we slept like babies every night! If I find myself in Maine again this will be the place I stay. I would love to get out on the lake. We are not crowd people, so having a quiet place not too far away from the places we wanted to see worked well for us.We highly recommend this as a quiet convenient, beautiful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay as a family. We loved the lake and spent a lot of time swimming and canoeing and enjoying the views. Our only drawback was that we were right on a very busy and loud highway so we constantly heard the loud traffic of cars and trucks driving by. Otherwise we were really relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much!

House was as described in listing. Very neat, clean and well stocked with essentials. Couldn’t be more pleased with the house and location. Yes, it is on the highway but we had no problems talking and sleeping. The traffic noise was even less at night. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay for the start of our honeymoon

The property is on an amazing location on the water. The house was well maintained and there was excellent information on where to go for restaurants and different things to do in the area. If we ever come back to Maine this will be a place we stay again.

Great Stay!

We wanted a home centrally located to the areas we would be visiting and this location was perfect. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the stay. We wish we could have enjoyed the beautiful yard and pond more, but we had a very busy schedule of activities and sights and were limited on time.

Lovely cottage, gorgeous setting

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Host is easy to communicate with and clearly wants you to enjoy your stay. Property is warm, clean and inviting. Setting is so pretty and peaceful. It is a bit close to the road, so you will hear cars/trucks, but that was not a major issue to us. Lots to do on/near the property, and plenty more if you venture out! Would happily stay again!

great stay in a cozy cottage on the pond

This was our home base for a few days as we explored New England. the house was great and the pond made for a nice evening swim. The light switch locations are a bit funny but we found that to be charming. Thanks for letting us stay in your place!

Rupert was great l, he was so understanding when we asked to extend our trip an extra day do to a family member getting sick on day 1 and our 1st day was tied up with that. We will definitely be coming back in the future!
