Great Getaway

My wife and I try to take a trip together every May just to have some time away together. How Sweet Texas Home was perfect for the occasion. It’s roomy and cozy at the same time. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub (though the chlorine levels were high so we couldn’t stay in very long). The rocking chairs on the porch were great. The home is fully stocked with everything you could need from dishes to towels (they even had toothbrushes, toothpaste and Q tips available). Very nice place, private, and easy, contactless check-in. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet Wimberly retreat

This was a short anniversary getaway for us. It was quiet and beautiful. The hot tub was very relaxing. Our stay was delightful and the hosts were friendly and accomodating. Im grateful for the stay.

Charming and Serene this Texas Home!

Just returned from a lovely & serene 2 nite stay at Home Sweet Texas Home! This place has it all! Beautiful oaks on manicured hillside grounds that are more like a park. Owner Mark and his wife have thought of everything visitors might need with beautifully decorated rooms, a comfy large bed, fireplace and even toothbrush & toothpaste for those who forgot! We'll be back!

Home Sweet Home... by way of confusion

Enjoyed our stay, accommodations were nice. House was clean, instructions were helpful. Did not have opportunity to take advantage of pool or hot tub.

Relaxing experience

Clean and quiet and a family of deer feeding right out the window. Just what we were looking for. They even had coffee available and an extra toothbrush which was great since i forgot mine. Thank you, Mark.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Een mooie ruime, schone én gezellige bungalow. We genoten ook van de fijne veranda en de BBQ faciliteiten en zwembad. Leuk om de herten rondom het huis te zien. In een paar minuten ben je in Wimberley met z’n vele restaurantjes en winkeltjes.

Perfect vacation spot

Everything in the home was as listed. Super clean, we had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The hot tub and pool were fantastic. Mark, our host, was quick with a small repair we needed while there. The coffee bar was an added bonus rock, along with the soaps and shampoos in the bathroom

Amazing

The property was absolutely stunning and have everything we could ask for in a vacation rental and then some. Me and my wife will definitely be going back many times as the owner of this property was exceptional in having everything you need and the property was clean and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and look very forward to staying again.

Great property!

Really enjoyed the house and property. Wish we could’ve had our friend’s family come over for dinner but the owner felt like 5 additional visitors was too many for the space. Be sure to get permission for any additional visitors prior to your stay or find an alternate location to hang with your local friends. Very nice property and location!

Relaxing Hill Country House

This property met all our expectations. The house was clean and welcoming. We met our host Mark upon arrival, who welcomed us, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to make a wonderful breakfast. The view was amazing to have coffee on the porch in the mornings. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor kitchen and hot tub. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. The location was so close to everything that we wanted to do in Wimberley. I would recommend this stay for anyone!

Could not ask for more!

We had an amazing experience; the home and property were so comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed how tucked away it all was, like our own little hideaway even though it's just a few minutes from the Wimberley square. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back to this house again ourselves. Thank you so much to Kimberly and Mark for such a wonderful experience!

Comfy Hill Country Getaway

Wonderful hill country getaway. This was just what we needed. It’s Wimberley homey and comfortable. Well appointed, we lacked nothing. My favorite experience was enjoying morning coffee on the covered porch—so peaceful and relaxing. Thank you, Mark and Kimberley.

Besides, its location is perfect for going to town or on nearby adventures. We were there for a wedding and found this place just moments from the venue.
