The Dutch Farmhouse is so charming with amazing grounds and lots of space. We spent a weekend with our daughters and their families and ended up spending most of our time at the house because we were so comfortable! The cows were an added bonus! Check-in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The Dutch Farmhouse was an excellent location for a gathering of some friends of mine. The house is beautiful. The grounds are spacious, and everything is maintained with the utmost care and love. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The check in and check out processes were clear and easy to execute. We would highly recommend this property for a small gathering of adults or maybe a large family.

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing

Upon first arriving, my daughter wanted to stay for a week! The pool, spa, abundance of sleeping options... and the highland cows! They are adorable! Everything was clean, organized and the bathroom soaps and such an unexpected bonus. We had peacokcs greet the family staying in the guest house, went to sleep with sounds of nature and the cows let us sleepin until after 8am before they said good morning. We would love to come back!

Perfect Stay for Santa Ynez

Pam’s house was so great. The pictures are great but the property is even better in person. There’s plenty of space and it’s centrally located for all you need/want to do in Santa Ynez. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Great Spot for Families

We chose this location for our stay for my siblings and dad (and their families) for a family wedding down the road. The space was wonderful for groups and kids as we all had our own space and areas the run around. The pool was wonderful and the yard was lush!

Vintage Charm

The vintage farmhouse was comfortable and clean, with multiple rooms allowing separation if you need a break from your group. The large family room could accommodate us perfectly. I just wish the two indoor fireplaces worked, since we stayed in cold November. There was an outdoor fire pit that we gathered around every night. The grounds are spacious and nice, with a tree swing, outdoor seating in the front and back of the house and on the guesthouse patio. The jacuzzi controls are a little tricky--we had a retired engineer, a Ph.D. scientist, and a tech wizard all trying to figure it out. The oven instructions are a little tricky, too. The kitchen could use a few more essentials: casserole dishes and a cookie sheet/cake pan. Check-in went smoothly and communication with Pam was exceptional. 5 stars for Pam! There were a few minor issues: the outdoor furniture was very dirty and should have been wiped down. We had an ant invasion in the guest house, where a toddler was staying, so we avoided using toxic spray, which was in supply at the house. There was a non-toxic spray available. There's clearly a known ant problem which should be rectified by a pest control service. Ants were POURING out of the bathtub drain; some were crawling in the kitchenette and along the sliding door in the hallway. We also found mice droppings on the bar stools in the kitchenette. Yes, we are in the "country", on a farm, but it was overlooked by the maid service.

Unique experience

The property was gorgeous and impeccably maintained. Enough room for a large group and everything you would need for comfort. The decor and character of the home was like going back in time. We loved it!

Wine Country Girls Getaway

The photos don't do justice for this charming property. It is perfect for a county+wine getaway. The cows were amusing, the front and back yard filled with greenery and vines were delightful and just added to the authentic country experience. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is impeccably kept up. We had booked the main and guest house and it was great to have all the space and privacy. It was too chilly for the pool or jacuzzi so we didn't make use of either. It was our first time in Santa Ynez and if you've not been, it's a small town of mostly vineyards, ranch style homes, some great options for dining and shopping. Everything was within 5 min of the house. Pam was a very responsive and courteous host, thank you!

Exceptionally beautiful property, particularly for outdoor use. Main house best for adults, but additional drawing close to main house designed well for families. Feels private and isolated well-being close to vineyards small towns and great restaurants. Host was very helpful.

Great girls reunion weekend!

We needed a place to stay that could accommodate 10 women 60+ This place worked out perfect. It was well stocked with dishes, glasses and towels and other items. The pool area was lovely and we never left! We would rent this place again in the future.

Excellent property for a family getaway

Really enjoyed the property. Well stocked with dishes, cookware, and they have a Weber gas grill! The pool was great, and plenty of beach towels. The guest house, and bedrooms allowed for enough space and the house was sparkly clean. Would book here again if we have a large number of people.

Tranquility!

A beautiful and beyond comfortable farmhouse with a lovely guest house. Everything you need is there and easy to find and use. Great for young kids. The pool has a great cover that is easy to use and water very warm from the sun. Wish we could have stayed a month!

Incredible hospitality and home!

My group of friends and I had an amazing time. The house and property exceeded my expectations from the photos. It was so charming and impeccably clean. Pam went above and beyond to accommodate us and that was incredibly appreciated. I would recommend this listing to any group. The pool and spa were lovely. The cows were a highlight! And it was incredible location. Couldn’t recommend it more

Charming Getaway

A most charming place filled with all kinds of fun things to look at! The amenities were very nice and plenty of outdoor dining space when the weather is pleasant. Very well maintained inside and out. The Highland cows were a big hit as well as the two cats that loved having attention. I would highly recommend this place for families and friends alike.

We loved staying at the farmhouse! We celebrated family birthdays, and the property was amazing! We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. It was close to a wonderful winery, several small towns, and Solvang. Everything went smoothly for check-in and check-out.

Wonderful Dutch Farmhouse

This was the second time we stayed at the property. The first time was 10 years ago. The only reason we did not go back was the family grew and when it was just the main house it was no longer large enough. When I saw they added the guest house it was now the right size for the family so we were excited to return for Thanksgiving! The yard is large for family activities and the jacuzzi was the perfect temperature for evening relaxation. If I could give the property manager, Pam, 10 stars I would!! Great communication, quick responses just an al around great experience with Pam! Looking forward to our next stay at this wonderful property!!
