Maui Getaway

We booked a last minute vacation to Maui. Our stay at the Maui Kai was awesome. The views from our Lanai were impeccable, we could see whales breaching the water and seals on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront condo!

The condo was a perfect base for our week in Maui. We were able to watch the sunrise each morning from the lenai and often spotted sea turtles swimming by the shore. This small condo is perfect for couples and even has a small beach next door.

Honeymoon stay

Unit is in an amazing location and view is unbeatable. Overall clean and well kept. Did not get the check in email with the code which caused some chaos. Shower drain was fairly clogged and drained very slow.

Comfortable place with a view

The view of the place it’s amazing! Although the building is not new construction, the apartment it’s clean and comfortable. Location it’s central with lots of choices for food and fun. We had a small hiccup at checking in but both owners were prompt to correcting the situation. We did not use any of the other building amenities but were happy with our accommodations. Thank you for sharing your place with us, we had a relaxing time.

Greatest view

We enjoyed eating meals at the lanai/ balcony above water and having access to the beach right downstairs. Really appreciated finding the snorkel sets so we didn’t need to rent. I would come back and stay here again. A/C could be stronger and sliding door made easier to open.

Its a dump

This place was so bad..very misleading. The furniture is scratched beyond repair, the AC takes a full day to cool, the check in area dates back to the 60's and the owner was extremely rude after payment was made. Pent house?? Its the 10th floor of a an old cinder block building. Pool...its the size of a Wal Mart. The patio doors did not close well- thus a loud whistle. The owner blamed it all on us, however we only spent 2 nights until we could find another place to stay. That one was as advertised. Find any place else!!!!

Best view on the island

Incredible view & location… watched turtles passing by in the water all hours of the day & the sunset between islands each evening. Excellent amnenities. Thank you!

Anniversary trip

The location was exactly as advertised. Very clean, modern, and right over the ocean. No complaints. Would recommend to friends and family. Comes with beach gear so no need to purchase coolers or chairs. Very nice!! Will stay again!!

Amazing location and view!

After missing one sunset and watching it from Whaler’s Village we made sure we were at the condo for every other night. What a spectacular place to watch the sun go down!

Beautiful view - whale watching

Great stay at this condo, enjoyed the peaceful feel of this calm establishment! Everything was perfect for our Mother Daughter annual vacation! Had a couple things come up and Tom and his wife were very responsive, hope to go back next year!

Spectacular Views Great location

As listed this property has amazing views of the ocean and whales. Property was clean and well maintained. Pool and hot tub were very clean as well. Good location fir morning walks on boardwalk. Could use some extra containers ( ziplock ) for storage of things in fridge ( ie pineapple, fruit etc) Overall you will not be disappointed with this rental it is perfect for a couple to stay. Mahalo

Whale watching extravaganza

We love Maui Kai for the views of the water, Lanai'i, Molokai and the whales. So many whales. This unit has a good kitchen, comfortable bed and good light. Not a fan of the TV set up- a little confusing. Overall, a great stay and we hope to return next year. Thank you.

Great ocean views from the property!

We very much enjoyed stay at this Penthouse condo! The views from the 10th floor were awesome! Having the telescope in the condo was very much appreciated as my son used it to look at Jupiter and its moon in the sky at night! And also we could see humpback whales right from our balcony and using the telescope! The swimming and snorkeling gear in the condo was quit handy. Thanks.
