Maui Kai 806 is an oceanfront Junior Suite (studio) with a perfect ocean view that has been completely renovated and offers stylish Tommy Bahama furniture, tile throughout (no rugs or carpet) and a 55 inch Smart LED HD TV

The island kitchen offers all new appliances including stove with full size range and oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer and an ultra quiet Bosch dishwasher. The bathroom is custom tiled. Complementing the tradition of the Islands with its Hawaiian-style earth tone colors, it is conveniently located on the north side of Kaanapali beach. Restaurants, food trucks and Times Supermarket just a few hundred feet away.

Enjoy incredible sunsets, panoramic ocean views, whales in season, several great sandy beaches steps away unobstructed ocean vistas to Lanai and Molokai while you relax on our large private lanai balcony.

Staying in Maui Kai 806 includes the conveniences of a condo with many hotel amenities. There are no resort amenity charges or extra costs of any sort. Parking, in-room high speed WiFi internet and much more are also provided as is full access to heated pool and hot tub spa.

Binoculars, beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards are also provided in the room for when you are ready for fun on the beach.

It's a lovely studio. Plenty of room for a couple. Big closet, full kitchen. Beach chairs, ice chests and towels were great. No need to pack those!The area is great with plenty of parking at the unit, as well as the area. Bonus: We saw many sea turtles from our balcony while watching the amazing sunset.

Love us some Maui

The location was close to everything that we needed and the view from the lanai was spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and we loved the balcony and the sounds of the ocean. We woke to a beautiful rainbow stretched out across the ocean right in front of us! Spectacular location!

Relaxed in Paradise

Wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the unit was just as advertised. The new bed and appliances were a great upgrade compared to other units at the Maui Kai. Incredible location and views of the nonstop whale show. We recommend this property.

Ocean Front

The space was cozy and tastefully furnished. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the turtles swim by. Great location, walking distance to everything we needed. The host communicated quickly to answer a question we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location.

Unfortunately the weather was overcast and very windy almost everyday. BUT, the highlight was whale watching from our lanai! If you're looking for a quiet property, Maui Kai is it. For me, a little too quiet.

Great Condo and Remarkable Ocean View!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo is well equipped and is very comfortable. The Lanai ocean front view is unmatched! We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning and even Ng watching the whales and the fantastic Maui rainbows and sunsets! We will return for another stay! Mahalo!! 🌴🌈

Perfect location and wonderful sea view

Loved our stay- in-season whale watching right from the balcony. Unit was appointed well in a nice complex with plenty of parking. Comfortable bed with the best sea view. Loved leaving the sliding balcony doors open - even had a screen to use to keep birds out. Great location which was convenient to lovely sunbathing and snorkel beaches (just walk outside), tons of restaurant, food truck and grocery options. Would 100% recommend!

What a view!

MK806 is a wonderful unit. It’s clean and has everything that you need for your stay. The views are breathtaking. It’s whale season and the whales are visible wherever you look. We have a telephoto lens and were able to get some phenomenal pictures. I would recommend this unit to anyone and Art is very easy to work with.

Location was a 5! The rest, not so much. Kitchen was laid out poorly with not enough outlets, the faucet dripped constantly, the pillows were awful (very flat) and the outdoor table wobbled horribly - spent way too much time messing with it. I’ll never understand the extra set of doors and why the bathroom was between the two sets of doors. Sheets were terrible and would not stay on the mattress, which was surprisingly comfortable. When we mentioned the sheets, etc. the owner replied with “the cleaner works hard”. Not the best response.

I'm sorry this stay did not live up to your expectations as we always strive to offer great stays and receive perfect ratings. We were surprised you were so confused by the wind doors which are standard at the Maui Kai, and as we mentioned, you only need to use the extra wind doors on windy days when you have the lanai doors open and are also entering or exiting the unit through the front at the same time. I do understand pillows can be a personal choice so you may recall we even offered to rebate you the cost of a pillow of your choosing. Our units are professionally cleaned supporting local businesses and the quality of our housekeeping is significantly above island standards but our housekeepers are not always on property and can not always instantly be there to adjust sheets corners or make beds like they do in hotels. I'm also surprised you did not like our open kitchen layout as it is exactly as in the pictures and you can see the ocean from our large kitchen island as you prepare. Lastly the lanai tiles are angled for rain drainage so the table may occasionally need adjusting by simply turning it a few inches in one direction or the other and feet also adjust. We can only assume you prefer the large loud crowded resorts with staff catering to a guests every whim. We are not that. We are for those who want an intimate direct oceanfront experience in a privately owned condo, and those who want to experience the true peace and beauty Maui has to offer.

Absolutely perfect for us!

We absolutely loved everything about this studio. It was peaceful and quiet, felt very private with a lovely lanai and amazing ocean/sunset views. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was great, place was very clean. We ate in during 80% of our stay (after our initial Costco and Safeway shopping). Loved having the lanai doors open almost all the time (no need this time of year for a/c) - and felt like that extended our space beautifully. Enjoyed the pool/hot tub on a few evenings, though never got to the grill. Great amenities overall. Having access on either end of building to beaches was so convenient, and easy access to the boardwalk to Dukes and all the condos. Used the beach chairs/towels daily, and appreciated the various size coolers. Great fridge and icemaker. Can't say enough good things about MK806 and the folks that own/manage it. Can't wait to return, and definitely telling others about this find! Thanks for everything, Jason and Art.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay!Communication with the host was excellent, they answered check-in/out questions within minutes. The condo was exactly as pictured, very clean, comfortable bed, and the location was amazing!Highly recommended for a unforgettable getaway.

Quiet But Close

This property is in the middle of the action without the noise. You have the benefit of the walkable resorts with the peace of your own space. The 8th floor provides incredible views of whales and turtles. We come every year, and this was the best whale watching we’ve had. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was as described. The best review we could give was the view. There’s no beach… you are looking straight down to the ocean from your balcony. We saw small & very large turtles every day. We did not expect to see whales since it was late in the season. Surprised to see many whales & caught one come almost completely out of the water. The pool area was very nice with a full kitchen, ping pong, TV, darts, cornhole, and barbecue grills. Would definitely stay here again.
