Ideal for Getaway

This place is perfect - easy walk to beach and places to eat, short trip to downtown Clearwater to explore without staying in downtown. Really the best location to get a little bit of everything during a visit!

Great location!

This was a perfect spring break spot for a family! A few steps away from the beach but in a residential neighborhood so it doesn’t feel touristy. Would stay here again!

Cute little oasis

This place was in the perfect location, just a 2 minute walk across the street to a beautiful white sandy beach. Communication from day one was excellent, would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Awesome Little Beach House

Very cute little beach stay. 4 minutes from the beach, an amazing life cream shop, restaurants. There’s a CrossFit gym one mile away, a surf shop nearby. Super convenient and lots of great beach supplies on property. Great communication with the property manager.

2nd Visit

Our family came down for Spring Break in 2022 and had such a blast that we came back in 2024! Great location. So close to the beach. Our 9 year old couldn't get enough of the mini-golf!.

Quick beach vacation

Enjoyed our stay, condo was cute and a good location being a short drive to Clear Water. Short walk to beach and the wagon with beach chairs was convenient. King bed was firm and comfortable. Owner was nice and quick to reply to questions.

Amazing Spring Break!

The proximity to the beach could not be better! The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kids (7 & 9) loved playing mini golf in the back yard. Indian Rocks Beach has so much to offer within walking distance and this place provided the perfect home base for everything!

Excellent stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bill's place. The apartment was very well equipped and gave us plenty of space to spread out with our toddler to relax. It was so convenient to have laundry facilities in site and the beach supplies were excellent. The location is wonderful - just steps from the beach and convenient to anything you may need during your stay. The hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond and the check-in/out process was seamless.

Terrific location

Great little cottage, close to beach and super well equipped in terms of beach gear. Only thing I would add is a mattress topper for the larger bed as it is very firm. Owner was responsive throughout. Convenient to restaurants.

Amazing family spring break trip

Mermaids Cove was perfect for our family of three. The property was as-advertised and was beautifully decorated and cozy. Sabrina sent us all the information we needed to access the property, and she even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Our son loved all the beach toys provided in the shed, and the beach was only a block or two away from the property. This was a much-needed relaxing week for us, and we would definitely recommend Mermaids Cove.

IRB Gem

This little place had everything we needed and more. Well appointed home was just right for our family of four. Also included some of the extras that made our IRB visit a bit more special. Four bikes, coolers, wagons, chairs and umbrellas… a putting green to boot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need is here

Great location - 1.5 blocks to 15th St beach access. Many restaurants within walking/biking distance. The unit is nicely decorated and has everything you need - even had Glad Wrap in the kitchen drawer and sunscreen in the linen closet! The courtyard was perfect for morning breakfasts and the front bench offers a nice breezy place to read in the shade. The shed holds everything you need - 4 bikes, several wagons, and plenty of beach chairs. Laundry was very convenient as well. I highly recommend this place and plan to return again.

Mermaid Cove was wonderful

This property was a gem ! Everything was perfect ! 1 block from the beach, excellent restaurants close by within walking distance. We parked our car upon arrival and didn’t have to use it at all. There is bikes, beach toys, chairs and coolers to use. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beach towels supplied as well. We had planned to go to Clearwater for supper one night but never felt the need to leave Indian Rock Beach. We hope to come back some day !! Thank you to our amazing hosts !!!!!

The property is as described and exactly what you see in the pictures. Host provided everything you need for the beach. My only concern was host asked us to do whites upon departing but did not want us to take off white sheets. Seemed a little odd, as if the same sheets would be used again for the next guest. Other than that this is a great spot in a great location.

Exactly as pictured and promised

What a delightful, tastefully decorated, conveniently located property! The website pictures accurately depict the rooms and outside area. Several delicious restaurants and the public beach are within walking distance. I like that the property supplied some toiletries (hand soap, paper towel, etc) so we didn't have to rush right away to buy toilet paper! The washer and dryer came in very handy. Responsive property manager. It is a duplex so you might/will see your neighbors as you share the yard. All in all, an excellent property!

We rented both units A & B - 2 adults and 2 kids in each. Nice to each have a private place and a joint outside area. The location is great, especially for families. Quiet, nice & safe neighborhood. It was a block away from a park with playground, tennis, pickleball and basketball. The beach is a short walk (1 block & 1/2). Close to restaurants and shopping. The home was lovely & clean. Tastefully decorated with beach theme. 2 Bedroom, bath, living room, kitchen and eat in dinning. Plenty of space for our family even on the rainy day. The yard was nice to have to get together as a family and still respect social distancing recommendations. The kids enjoyed catching lizards in the yard. This yard is shared with Unit A & B. However, Unit B had an additional small yard area / deck off one of the bedrooms that was private. There were beach chairs and some toys for our use and even a wagon to pile beach items in and take to the beach :) We would recommend Mermaid Cove and would rent the units again on our next stay in Indian Rocks Beach.

Well positioned for Indian Rocks Beach goers. Overall 92 points

For some perspective... IRB is a mature slice of heaven, positioned just south of the Belleair subdivision and just north of Indian Shores / Redington area. Which we determined to be a great choice as south is high-rise close-quarter properties while IRB is restricted to 3 story max. This property is right in the middle and a mere 3 minute walk to the beach access; excellent for running back to the house for water, cokes or a potty break. The duplex itself receives a mixed review and I will try to give you the pros and cons: Pros: Location - beach & walking distance to general store/nail salon/ Cuban sandwiches... newly remodeled duplex, TV cable in all rooms, comfortable with 2 couches and a desk, toys for the beach (wagon, umbrella, chairs, ice chest - Thank you for these), and access to a washer / dryer. Cons: the kitchen / dining area is small and almost no counter-space to work, sundries of low quality (pots, pans, coffee maker, one roll paper towels, spatulas, and so on) this was a little frustrating. Low shower pressure, One bathroom, and mirrors set for those 5'10 and under round the list. Overall Sabrina is easy to work with and this place is a, albeit small, gem in the Indian Rocks beech area and we would stay here again. Hopefully this is helpful and a balanced report for those considering the Clearwater area. Final tips: have the Cuban at Krazy Coconuts on the beach or Havana Harry's over the bridge, visit Mike's pizza for your favorite pie, drive up to Ybor for your Cubanesque cigar and beer ( La Farrona), and Sandy's for breakfast. :)

Wonderful!

This property was great! Just what we needed. Nice neighborhood, really cute place, the beds are comfortable. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. 2 Adults 2 Kids. Yummy restaurants within walking distance. Short walk to the beach. The only thing to note, is there is no crosswalk on the main road to get to the beach, and that can be a little tricky at times trying to cross with kids. The beach was beautiful, and not very crowded. We would stay here again.
