This was our 4th time coming to the lake and by far the best property we have been at. The owners were very helpful, attentive and provided all the information we needed to for a wonderful stay! The property was super clean and the cabin layout was perfect for family activities. We will definitely be back! Thank u Gerry!!!

Great views! Great dock! Great house!

Owners had great communication and ensured we had everything we need for check-in and during our stay. The walk to the dock was easy and the steps were in great shape, the dock was fantastic. The views from the porch were the best. We will definitely be staying here again!

Norris Lake

Absolutely beautiful! Just stayed for a long weekend but we love it so much we have already booked for a week next summer. Weather was cool but that didn’t stop the kids from swimming and enjoying the kayaks. We can’t wait for next summer when the weather is warmer so we can all enjoy the water! Have rented through VRBO, etc several times but this is our favorite place to stay hands down! Best equipped kitchen we’ve had! Made cooking very easy! With the open floor plan we could all talk and cook at the same time so no one felt left out. The owner answered my many questions in a very timely manner. Very friendly and so easy to talk to! On the trip home today everyone was very excited to be making plans for next year. We go somewhere different every year but this was such a wonderful experience that we all unanimously agreed we’re returning next year and staying in the same place. This is the first time we have ever returned to the same place. The kids are already talking about returning every year! The countdown to Summer, 2024 has begun!

Beautiful September stay

Absolutely stunning! This was a family trip celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The property was clean and comfortable and had a spectacular view of the lake! The place looked just as if not better than the online pictures and Gerry was great to work with! This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Beautiful!

We’d stayed with our 4 young adult children for the week. The cabin was immaculate! The cleanest rental we have stayed in. Everything you need is right there! The view of the lake is amazing! We rented a boat, went tubing, got jet skis and had so much fun exploring all the different areas of Norris Lake. Many fun family memories were made. The outside steps look intimidating in the photos, but they are not as tough as they look, really wide stairs which is helpful. The town is not super close so we planned out our meals ahead of time and grabbed what we needed at the grocery stores before we headed to the cabin. Worked out great! Gerry was so easy to work with, super communicative and informative. Overall wonderful experience!

Wonderful vacation!

This is a lovely home on what I consider the best lake I’ve ever been to. We boated, tubed, swam, fished, ate soft serve ice cream at the marina, made s’mores at the fire pit, played board games and had a lot of laughs. The house is clean, nicely located with great views of the lake. It has all the amenities a family would want or need. I look forward to our return!

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This was our third time on the lake, but first time at PML. So many positive things to say!! Perfect location, it was 4 hours exactly from Cincinnati, the house is positioned back between two coves (completely private) making it the ideal location to kayak and swim. I would have to say this house is my favorite location so far! The view is just breathtaking and YES Gerry it is as beautiful and some of the lakes in Montana!! We can't thank you enough for your kindness!!! Gerry and Bridget really know how to take care of their guests. Please let the cleaning crew know how much we appreciated them! The house was ready and just perfect!

Wonderful First Trip to Norris Lake

The owners are extremely responsive and any questions were answered promptly. The preparation email had all of the information we needed to know what to expect and what we should bring for our trip. This cabin is in a perfect location, close to many marinas but set back away from most of the waves. The drive in can be a little intimidating, but once you've done it, you know what to expect. If you happen to miss the driveway, you'll need to back up to make the turn as it is too sharp to make from the other direction. We had room to park several vehicles and 2 trailers and there was room to maneuver trailers for the return trip. The dock is well equipped with bumpers for your boat, plenty of places for visitors to tie up, and the perfect place for swimming. The views from the deck (and dock) are amazing and watching the mist roll through the mountains in the morning is peaceful and serene. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable, plenty space for our extended family. We had most everything we needed in the kitchen and there is ample seating for dining and family games. We were also able to move chairs around the deck to eat meals outside to enjoy the view. Thank you for sharing your home, it made our first family trip to Norris very enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!

Away from it all !

It was everthing the reviews said it was. Great location! We arrived on Saturday 5/13 the main walkway from dry land to the boat dock had floated out of position ,and neither I nor my wife could reach the dock. I called the owner and he had it repaired that evening!! Plus we found a black rat snake on top of the stacked firewood and the same man who repaired the dock took care of the snake!! I am deathly afraid of snakes! Other than that the week was perfect, we even caught fish!

Beautiful Log Home

We stayed at this property over spring break. This home was absolutely perfect! You can tell the owners put a lot of love in this home. It is clean, spacious, and the location is perfect. It is right on the lake with a private deck. They have a nice covered table on the dock perfect for hanging out. There is a fire pit with several chairs for a campfire. Perfect for s’mores and star gazing. They had two kayak’s that my kids enjoyed exploring the lake. The owners had a ton of information and recommendations for us. We had a fishing guide take us on a half day of fishing. My son caught a 30 pound striper. and my daughter a 15 pound striper. We cooked it up on the grille back at the house. This is the perfect spot for a family and or friend vacation. We plan on going back again and again.

Went to this cabin for Christmas with my family . Nearly cried when we walked in the home and property was so beautiful . Only wish it was summer and we had a boat . Our host was wonderful and very helpful snd concerned about how our stay was. Had car trouble and a newbie he contacted helped out . Very friendly . Will definitely recommend this place . Gorgeous and well kept if you want a cabin like atmosphere but modernized with the most wonderful lake view !! Thank u . Katherine C.

Our family has been fishing and boating on Norris Lake for over 30 years. Grandpa, "The Legend", was a popular fishing guide out of Springs Dock. Grandma loved taking the family out on the pontoon boat to meet up with friends at Debbie's cove. We learned time on Norris is all about making magical memories. We purchased Powder Mill Lodge in 2018 with the goal of providing customers with a beautiful setting to make their own lifelong stories.

Also, for Powder Mill Lodge guests interested in going on a fishing trip, we have arranged for a professional fishing guide to pick up and drop off at Powder Mill Lodge dock and to offer a discount.
