For starters, the owner had a miscommunication with the cleaning crew about the check-in date. The room was not ready when we arrived (4 hours past the check-in time). The bed was not made & the room was not completed, therefore we had to call the owner & he had to send someone in to finish, while we were there.... Very awkward. The room did NOT have an oven, which was very inconvenient, and this should have been stated in the room description. We had many other families staying at the same property and they had lots of communication by their owners and other welcoming amenities that we did not receive. There was also no instructions for anything in the condo, including how to use the facilities, which the front desk said should have been communicated by the owner. I felt like the owner should have reached out to us during our 10 night stay, especially after the way things started, but we heard nothing from him. Considering the amount of money and time we dedicated to his condo, I think he should have taken more of any interest in our concerns. Next time I will just rent from the property itself.
