Great stay!!!

My wife and our dog had a wonderful stay. Lovely place and very close to the beach! You can hear the waves! Paula is a gracious host!!! Will certainly come back!

Cottage by the sea

A nice little cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Close proximity to beaches, wildlife refuge, town and activities. Newburyport is a nice town with a sense of nostalgia and much to offer.

Tranquility!

We had such a wonderful stay. The property was located in a quiet and peaceful place close to the beach. Was nicely appointed and had all supplies we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. We plan on a return visit!

Just steps to the beach!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a little getaway. It's just across the street from the beach and a short drive to downtown Newburyport. When I had questions for the owner, she replied right away and was helpful.

Sweet

The cottage is basically an upstairs apartment, much spacier than I guessed from the pictures. Very comfortable sleeping, excellent new appliances in the kitchen, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the deck and the closeness of beach access although we had no view of the beach. Overall we had a lovely stay and having Paula nearby meant instant responses to anything we needed.

A perfect weekend!

The apartment was so nice! It was steps away from the beach and a short drive into Newburyport. The bed was super comfortable! We didn’t want to get up in the morning! The hostess was nice, and we really don’t have anything bad to say about it! We would definitely consider renting this apartment again!

Property and owner on site was terrific; she was available for any issues that arose. The space was lovely, charming and fit my needs perfectly. Location was ideal, 3 houses from beach path....Perfect! Will return next year if at all possible.

Overall the place was really convenient. Close to the beach, and the owner very accommodating. Full kitchen, and beautiful digs. Really had a great time. Wish I had known where the fishing was, and the store, helped out with that, but I knew it at the end of my stay, which means we must go back, Likely to request the same place all things being equal.

Nice location off season.

Was a nice place off season, went mid September. No one was hardly around, very quiet whih is what we like. Place was clean with good supplies. The bed was not at all comfortable, no shades on the windows just drapery sheers and a motion detected flood light on the building next to the side window in the bedroom that lite up twice a night. I can imagine how many times it was going on during season.goes on night.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

This is a lovely apartment with comfortable furniture and bedroom. Enough kitchen supplies to put together a meal and pleasant locations, inside and out, to enjoy one. On a surprisingly warm late October weekend, we were able to take a couple chairs to the beach (just a block away). There are some beach shack type restaurants nearby and it's a quick drive into Newburyport. Paula is an accessible host and was available for questions both before and during the trip.

Great location

The location of this place cannot be beat. You can be in the ocean in less than 3 minutes. The place is not completely private in my opinion. There was a curtain to the door of the laundry room and a bench in front of the stairs, the person in the other apartment had access if they wanted to use it. The bedroom needs more of a shade, sheets don’t block the flood lights from the neighbors.

Perfect Spot

Paula is an exceptional host. If I had a question or need, she responded almost immediately. I loved that I didn’t have to bring linens or towels…but still managed to overpack, lol. Location is great, short walk to the beach and the quaint downtown area. Newburyport is a short drive if you want fancier restaurants and nightlife, but the small town amenities made it a very relaxing, and a no “have to” vacation. Will be returning…

Excellent property!

This rental is even better than you might expect from the descriptions and pictures! It is SO spacious and comfortable. There is a proper dining area inside, a deck with dining tables outside, huge, comfortable living room, very nice kitchen, bathroom and cozy, comfortable bedroom. There are wide pine floors, nice furnishings, and all the amenities you could want including a full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, lush towels and linens and more. The location is perfect - very quiet, literally a one-minute walk to the beach (on the quiet, Southern end), right near the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. You can easily walk or drive to restaurants on Plum Island - or take a short ride to get to Newburyport. I highly recommend this property and host. Everything was easy from start to finish and I could not have enjoyed my stay more. If I could give this more than five stars, I would! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The perfect place to unwind

Paula was a wonderful host! Very easy to connect with and proactive in reaching out to us about some unexpected island-wide power outages before we arrived. The space was open and welcoming and steps to the beach. Is there anything better than a quiet early morning coffee on the deck, listening to the birds and the waves as the sun paints the sky? A lovely spot, a lovely host. Would stay again, and recommend this as a place to stay.
