Newbury Country Vrbo is your safe peaceful nest above the gardens for pleasant country walks, bicycling and access to beaches, birding, Newburyport shops, restaurants, boating and real New England flavor. Your quiet roomy suite includes a queen bedroom and sitting area with access to the deck and gardens. Your cozy bedroom with AC, WiFi, large closet, and desk has the essentials you need. Your tiny kitchenette has a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker and utensils. Your private bathroom has a small one-person shower, great pressure and many amenities including shampoos and hair dryer. You have a private entrance, all with safe locking doors. It's a wonderful space perfect for a peaceful getaway whether you're exploring the seacoast area or simply enjoying a quiet evening. You'll have easy private parking with plenty of room off a quiet country road. Enjoy walking and bicycling on well paved local country roads and Newburyport Coastal Trails Coalition. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach blankets and towels are available for local beaches. Interested guests with physical limitations for stairs should note that the private entrance, tiny kitchette, bathroom, beach closet and hallway are on the first floor, The sitting area and bedroom are on the 2nd floor which make them more cozy and quiet but require several stairs (see photo please).

It was extremely nice in all aspects. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed to have a great stay. Beth’s communication was very good and checkout was simple and seamless. We will definitely stay here again!

Beth is a kind, gracious, and helpful host! The accommodations are very clean, comfortable, and complete with all a guest could need. I had a wonderful time staying at the Newbury Country VRBO. Beautiful grounds and the perfect launching pad for a weekend exploring the area north of Boston. Communication with Beth (the owner) was phenomenal, and she made the stay easy and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again the next time I’m up this way!

Great Getaway!

We had a lovely two-night stay. Beth was thoughtful with advice about local attractions and also very generous with personal items to make our stay exceptionally comfortable. The location was private, quiet and also very close to both good restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Picturesque garden, clean and comfortable bed, large and well equipped bathroom. The host was very accommodating and attentive. It’s only a few miles from Plum island and its Parker River nature reserve.

We had the best day at Beth‘s place! She was the most kind host and communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again! It was only five minutes to downtown Newburyport and close to other things as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Beth is just the sweetest person!

I very much enjoyed staying at this Newbury country property. It provided the peaceful atmosphere that I was seeking. The upstairs room was large, with a comfortable bed, a sofa, and a lounge chair with ottoman. The walls were lined with bookshelves stocked with many reading choices. There were sufficient charging connections for devices. The small but adequate bathroom is on the lower level, along with a small refrigerator that stores ample supplies, and a small microwave. These were quite sufficient for storing and heating prepared meals and take-out. Beth, the hostess, couldn't have been more agreeable. We discovered we share a garden interest which led to many related conversations. She offers her large deck as a place for clients to relax. I plan to return next year.

We planned a short weekend trip out of the city and Beth's VRBO was the perfect place for us. She was a thoughtful host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. She even had beach essentials for us which was really nice since we didn't have any but could still get to go to the beach. It's a very short and easy drive to both downtown Newburyport and Plum Island which allowed us to see everything in the area while we were there. We're already thinking about planning another time to stay here in the future!

Beth was amazing and her house was beautiful. The room was so cozy and had a lot of good books! She also had a gorgeous garden she encouraged us to explore! She gave us muffins for breakfast and stocked the fridge and also had towels and beach chairs we were allowed to take to use. Great personality and lovely house. 10/10 reccomended

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beth was great, stocked our refrigerator with goodie’s. Shower was a little small and the bathroom and bedroom were on a different level. Not a problem for most but was a bit of problem for two older boomers. Having said that, I would also say that the host Beth, more than anything made the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Much better than a hotel stay for sure. Would we go back - that’s a yes.

Convenient, quiet area. Close to Newburyport and one of my favorite places for food and plants - Tendercrop Farm! Fit my needs perfectly for three nights while visiting family nearby. Host provided clean, comfortable studio room with separate entrance.

A cute, clean, spacious, second floor bedroom with a small bathroom on the main floor. After exploring the Newburyport area, it was a quiet place to return to at the end of the day. Be sure to visit the Welcome Center at Parker River Wildlife Refuge, take a hike on one of their boardwalks, and if the weather allows - stop at the beach and jump in the ocean.

There's always something entertaining to enjoy with great seacoast activities, restaurants, and shops. The locals are very friendly, and it's safe and fun to explore. I like to be here to welcome you and give you any information you need for a comfortable stay. Then you have your own private entrance to come and go as you like. But call or text if you have any questions along the way. I hope you'll have the freedom to enjoy our home and treat it as you would your own. Kindly no smoking, and please leave your shoes by the entryway for a clean and enjoyable suite. Our outside lights come on automatically for you after dark. Thank you!
