Clean condo in the Gothic area of Barcelona. Thanks to the property manager for helping us get into the apartment. It is an upstairs apartment with stairs. Very centrally located with entertainment, food, and bars all around. Great stay!!

Great location great property
Great stay at this Gothic neighborhood property. Everything is very close and apartment was as described. Check in process is very difficult and “electronic” keys don’t work if you don’t have service, which was the case for 2 of my party, putting them outside for 30 minutes until others arrived. A simple key system would be much easier.

Smelly property
My stay in Barcelona was disappointing due to issues with the property. While the space was spacious, it had a persistent unpleasant smell, possibly due to cleanliness or the location. Despite contacting the property manager several times, their only solution was spraying something that worsened the odor. Their responses were also delayed, and we even had to buy our own toilet paper due to a lack of supplies.

Horrible. Don't stay here.
First, location was excellent! Close to everything.
However like almost all the other reviews state, the check in process was difficult and unclear. Check in was at 4pm we couldn't gain access until 6pm because the code was not working.
Turns out they kept giving us the wrong code. They had to then manually buzz us in. We walked into the apartment and it smelled of toilet sewage. We were gagging. It was coming from all drains. Kitchen and bathrooms. A problem we would try to solve throughout our stay but were told there was nothing they can do.
Then once we had access, we had dinner reservations but realized if we all left we would not be able to get back in because they never gave us a working code and the office had left.
I had to stay behind while my friends went to dinner so that I could get VRBO on the phone and try to get the agency. At 10:30pm we were finally given a working code.
Once we finally had the code we exited.
The next day the front door power went out and we were locked out til 4pm when the maintence came.
At night the smell of sewage got worse and I was woken up by it - unable to get rest.
We asked then to please resolve this and they wanted to send a plumber but said we would have to wait for the plumber between 11am and 7pm to resolve. I asked if they could send an agency person to be with the plumber and they said no that we would have to wait-- wasting another day on property issues.
This was the worst service and stay I'd ever had.
