Comfortable apartment recently renovated and in the heart of the city

Three-bedroom and two-bathroom apartment completely renovated since February 2019, located next to the Palau de la Música Catalana auditorium, in a modernist style, with an exceptional location, just 10 minutes' walk from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, the city's main attractions.



It has air conditioning, a safe, and free Wi-Fi.



With modern finishes, vaulted ceilings, traditional Catalan tiles, parquet floors make this apartment breathe a modern and warm style.



The living room has a comfortable sofa with a dining area equipped with a flat-screen television. The kitchen is integrated into the same living room with a ceramic hob, oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle for tea, dishwasher and washing machine.



The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and private bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has a single bed. Both bathrooms have a shower, washbasin and WC.



The apartment will be equipped with towels and bed linen.



This apartment does not have private parking; however, you will find a public car park within approximately 200 metres of the apartment.



The photographs shown of this apartment are a selection from various apartments in the same building. The apartments may vary in terms of decoration and layout of spaces, but they all have the same style. Upon arrival, a specific apartment will be assigned.



Our Reception is located at number 1 Passatge Sert, where you must collect your key between 9:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday (except holidays from Monday to Friday). If your arrival is on Saturday or Sunday (or a holiday during the week), key collection is at Aribau Street 228. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 20:00. Mobile self check-in from 15:00



The Tourist Tax is not included in the apartment price. It has a cost of £6.88 per adult and night up to a maximum of seven nights.



The apartment does not accept group bookings or stag/hen parties.

Apartment location is perfect for walking everywhere and close to the metro. The description said there was a balcony but when we checked in there was a sign on the door saying that if we used the balcony we would be fined. That was disappointing. But the apartment was nice enough, the beds were comfortable, showers were warm and had good pressure, and the A/C worked great. We also liked having a grocery store right across the street for incidentals. We would stay here again.

Es un apartamento céntrico. Tuvimos la mala suerte que el aire acondicionado no servía y no tenían lista la habitación. Fue estresante el check in y tuvimos que irnos a otro hotel.

Worst VRBO stay we have had

Music 2 at OlaLiving has been a huge disappointment. We have been staying in Vrbo's every three days around Spain for over two weeks. This place is by far the worst accomodation we have had in Spain. For our troubles, listed below, I would like a 50% refund. 1. Air-conditioning did not work for the first two days. Your man sid we didn't know how to operate the control, but we talked to the girl in the office, showed her a picture and she thought we did it correctly. 2. Most windows don't open and the ones that do do not have screens. 3. Can't sleep due to the heat and continuous construction noise above us all day and all night. 4. Debris from the ceiling fell all over the place. At one point it has like brown snow coming down on us. And another time white snow over the dinner table... 5. Bathtub and shower are very slippery, one person fell and luckily only has a bruise. 6. Coffee maker is difficult to use, your guy had to take it to one of the girls to show him how to use it. Apparently unlike any other k-cup machine you need to drop the cup into a blind hole and then position it with your finger down in the hole. It destroys over 50% of the cups giving up no coffee. 7. No paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen. 8. No hot mitt for taking hot things out of the oven. 9. No extra trash bags, making it very difficult to take out trash as directed. 10. Only one partial role of toilet paper in each bathroom. We had to buy our own!

Excellent stay in Gothic Quarter

The apartment was easy to locate and access, and the management was quick to respond to questions and provide support when needed. It suited my elderly father, my husband and me, and our teen and adult children due to the proximity to historic and cultural sites, shopping and metro.

Central location and close to sights

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was located on a very nice street in the heart of the city. We were able to walk to a lot of sights. The only issue we had was at check-in the first day. We had been given an old app from Ola Living to unlock door. The app was no longer in use so the door would not unlock. Luckily, we were able to walk to the Ola Living office nearby the property and they gave us new app and 2 physical key cards.

En resumen el apartamento estaba limpio y la administración es fabulosa. Atentos a nuestras preguntas y necesidades. Nos sentimos un poco inseguros en el vecindario. De noche es oscuro y poco concurrido. No es muy céntrico de las atracciones de la ciudad. Gracias por ayudar con la transportación al aeropuerto.

Great Place but Horrible Check In

This property is nice and newly renovated in a great location, very central in the city. However, the check in process for this property and Ola Living, the management company is ridiculous. We had to enter tons of personal information and upload photos of our passports for ALL people in our party before being allowed to check in. There is no reason for them to collect so much personal information, not to mention for every person in your party staying in the property. We were already in Spain when trying to complete this rigorous check in and it was very very cumbersome. Again, every bit of personal information you can imagine but your SS#. And, entry is by bluetooth app, didn't work great and we didn't get access until. very last minute. Very stressful.

Overall good visit

Location good, did not provide any niceties. Bathroom in master unfortunately had a strong sewer smell. Check in and out process very inconvenient if on the weekend as at two different locations and not within walking distance with luggage. Would not likely stay again

Disaster

This host uses a key app for your entry into the building and for your apartment. IT DOES NOT WORK! We were not alone in our misery, there were many complaints. The system was impossible. My family sat on the street locked out from 1am to 3am waiting for someone to come from Olaliving to let us into our building. The after hours emergency number they listed were rude and hung up on us. The fear of getting locked out again restricted our family to explore and enjoy Barcelona (ie. missing tours and shows I had previously booked and paid for), leaving one person back at the apartment to ensure our apartment access. I have spoken, sent emails and documented pictures to Olaliving for some compensation but they refused to acknowledge their faulty app. This is not what I signed up for. I’ve never had this experience before and not the way anyone would want to have their long awaited vacation tainted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Olaliving.

Convenient location

Very nice property centrally located. Coffee shops and convenience stores right across the street. Only issue was using the phone app to open the door. Would have been easier if they had given us a “key” when we checked in.

Quiet place in downtown

It was surprisingly quiet in the middle of Barcelona. AC was so convenient and the house has been arranged beautifully. We had some trouble with power outage, but it was caused by having too many appliances running at the same time. We would go back in a heartbeat.

nice apartment

A generous space for three adults in a very good location in the older part of town. The neighbourhood is a bit grubbier than recalled from earlier visits to Barcelona, but very convenient for major sights, public transport, groceries and restaurants.

Updated Historic Apt

We loved the updated historic apartment and the beautiful neighborhood. Close to shops, parks and transportation. It was a perfect size for the 3 of us, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen furnishings weren’t great if you really want to cook, and there is no microwave. The building can get a bit noisy at night with folks coming and going, but that is to be expected. Daniella at Ola Living was very responsive and helpful.
