This is a lovely place with breathtaking views of the water and surrounding wildlife. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. This is our second visit here, we hope to return again soon!!

Great place! Great location!

Awesome place to stay for a DC trip! Beautiful property! Place had everything we needed and there were some great little restaurants nearby! Will definitely book again if ever back in the DC area! Highly recommended!!

Perfect Stay

We loved this property. The house was great, the location and view AMAZING, and the owner is very low key (not bombarded with rules, signs, etc.) Everything was very smooth from start to finish. Hope to stay again!

Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful house and property! We had a terrific time swimming off the dock, kayaking, stand up paddle-boarding and enjoying the outdoor activities. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation. Thanks to Rick for coordinating the kayaks for us!

Lovely weekend get away!

This rental was simply fantastic. Everything was relaxing from sitting on the patio to chatting with family in the gazebo! The scenery was beautiful from the sunrise to the sunset! Great places to eat very near by. Viewing the water from all locations was the best! The family is ready to go back!!!

Great location, could be cleaner

The property is as nice as the photos look, and we enjoyed being outside. The inside of the house has a great layout, but could use some attention to detail for the price of the rental (musty towels, worn and stained linens/bedding, dog hair on couch, smoky smell when we first arrived).

Beautiful house on the water. The house was well equipped and we loved the great room and fireplace. We did a little kayaking before the snowstorm hit. The host was very responsive.

Everything was great, house was clean, nice...as listed, lots of outdoor games, view was amazing...we ran out of propane on Wednesday so had to do indoor cooking the rest of the week but that was my only complaint.

A perfect stay -- with bonus kayaking off your peer

This place suited us perfectly for our family gathered to celebrate my daughter's wedding nearby. I was able to bring my inflatable kayak and launch it from your peer. Lots of good conversations occurred on your porch, and in your spacious living room, as well. Thanks for the lovely spot!

Great for our Thanksgiving Getaway

We wanted a place near my folks over the holidyh, but with lots of room for the kids and adults to spread out. Very well-appointed kitchen and good entertainment options for all of us. Lots of room for the kids to explore outdoors. This place was PERFECT for our needs. Rick was very responsive when the heat glitched out on the first night. We will definitely look into booking again!

Close but felt faraway

Home was lovely - well appointed, spacious and had all we needed to unwind and relax. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises, sunsets, lawn games, fire pit time and water views. Numerous bird sightings - even a bald eagle on multiple occasion! Local shops and restaurants were a plus. Many thanks to owner for making their home available - we hope to return soon!
