We’ve been visiting Summer Haven for 21 years. Our normal place wasn’t available so we decided to try the “Beachfront Penthouse” condo. It is an older model as pictured, but very clean, kitchen decently stocked, quiet , and comfortable. The porch provides shade while enjoying the beautiful views. The pool was clean and an added bonus since it’s not something we usually have on our visits. The only down side for us was the 200 pet fee and our beach access from the condo was temporary blocked. We are accustomed to paying a fee and understanding the need; however, it was less expensive for us to pay our sitter! As far as the direct beach access, it was blocked due to stairs needing repairs; however this did not affect us too much. We simply walked around the building. We stayed for 3nights,4days.We would consider staying here again.

We loved this property! Being on the beach and having easy access was great. The beach was semi private and not crowded at all! It was a great trip. We were the only ones that got into the pool during our trip.

Perfect beach vacation!Incredible view from the penthouse! Beautiful pristine semi-private beach. We had a wonderful time and it was so nice that we could bring our dog. The condo was nice and clean and stocked with everything you could need for a perfect beach vacation. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful vacation

Everything about this was perfect. The view from the back deck was beautiful and provided quick access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the outside closet had a great variety of beach toys. We saw sea turtles, shrimp, crabs, fish, and dolphins. We will definitely stay again!

My family and I come most every year. You can’t ask for a better beach! Never crowded…quick drive to downtown area and restaurants…state park with beautiful gardens just up the road… condo is always in great shape, clean and comfortable…thank you!

Perfect location. Breathtaking views

Stayed here a couple weeks ago. We are a family of 5, traveling with our French Bulldog. Everything was great and clean. My 13yo son enjoyed the "3rd" bedroom and loved that he had ocean views from his bed. This location is perfect for St Augustine an. d Flagler Beach.

Beach to ourselves

It was so quiet and had stunning views of the ocean. We watched the tide come up to our steps and move out into the inlet each day.Beach just steps from our condo.

Excellent! blissfully relaxing place to stay!

Wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Condo has everything you need for a great vacation. Private covered balcony makes this idyllic - we spent 95% of our time out there, the shade was great and the height (yes - worth every one of the steps) means there always a beautiful ocean breeze! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful location

The best sunrise view! Lots of room and seating. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is. Close to town and grocery store. I will say be ready for stairs, but it's worth it ! We had a great vacation here!

Beautiful

We had a great time at the property. You can’t beat the view from the large covered deck. Location is awesome, just steps away from the beach. We will be back.

Relax and Recharge

The Sea Matanzas is our favorite beach getaway spot! It’s right on the beach and there are usually very few people, so it’s very relaxing and beautiful. It’s also not very far to St Augustine if you want to go sight-seeing, shopping, or dine out!

What a great setting on a rather secluded beach!

The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was fantastic and wonderful for walks with our dog. There are some great restaurants within about 5 or 6 miles in either direction. We'll be back!

The View

This is a perfect beach vacation. Sitting on the top floor deck, you can see the sweeping views up and down the beach. Not only do you get access to a private beach, the oceanfront changes daily to give you new areas to explore. It is in close proximity to excellent restaurants and other sightseeing events like the lighthouse, alligator zoo, and fun mini golf. The condo is stocked with all the essentials with a family of six.

Best Vacation Ever

We have a family of 6, my husband and I and our 4 children. The apartment we stayed in was wonderful and had everything we could have wanted or needed! The location was perfect and the beach was beautiful!! We will definitely be back:)

Beautiful View

The location and beach were beautiful. Very quiet area and friendly neighbors.The condo was spacious but could definitely use some improvements/upgrades and a deep clean.
