The location is perfect. The (almost private) beach, that is dog friendly, is wonderful. The condo is clean and updated, we had no problems during our stay. The screen in porch off the master bedroom became a daily reprieve to enjoy the sunrises. Grocery store down the road, plenty of restaurants within 20min drive. A car is advised if you stay here to get around. We had a wonderful time and will be booking again soon.

My husband and I came for 10 days, and our son and his wife and two boys came for the first half of the week. It was the perfect size and accommodated all our needs. We have stayed in the area before and this is the first time at this place and absolutely loved it! The master is just steps from the beach, there were gobs of towels available, the decor was the bomb, and it was just overall an awesome experience.We will definitely rent again!Thanks for sharing your place!Donna & Steve

Wonderful location!

The condo is steps from the beach. You get to fall asleep to the sounds of the surf from the ground level master suite. The condo had everything needed. It was clean with lovely beach decor. Oh and the owners shared some delicious local honey!

Great location, beds need upgrades

Have been staying at this location for years. Well stocked, very clean, beautiful view. Walk right onto the beach from your place. However, beds are old and need updating. Master bed needs a new mattress and guest room has older twin beds. Need an upgrade to the bedding so adults can sleep comfortably. With an upgrade to the beds I would give this place 5 stars.

TV and Furniture

No Access to local TV eas dangerous due to tornado warnings. We got phonr alerts thankfully. One piece of furniture on deck collapsed when sat upon. Thankfully nobody got injured. Please get local tv access and check furniture for worthyness.

The house was very nice and clean. Good access to beach. Be prepared to use stairs a lot. You have to climb stairs to get into the condo. There is no bathroom on the main living floor. You have to go downstairs to use bathroom by second bedroom or down another flight of stairs to use master bathroom. The main complaint was the swimming pool. It was very cloudy when we arrived and by the third day the pool was green. We had to call to see if someone would come and clean it. My husband does not like to swim in the ocean and that is why we always rent a place with a pool. It was disappointing not to be able to swim in the pool for a day, and then it seemed a little sketchy the next couple of days. If they would keep up the maintenance of the pool it would be perfect.

We do incorporate detailed descriptions about the property to keep guests aware but we can always include more details to clear up any confusion. We do wish you were able to enjoy the pool during your stay. It was disheartening to hear that you were unable to take advantage. Please accept our deepest regrets that we were unable to take care of this for you in a more quicker manner. We will definitely be revamping the maintenance schedule for the pool to make sure that this issue does not happen again. Not a Good Experience

Our stay was from Saturday to Saturday. The air unit stop putting out cold air, due to being out of freon. It took approximately 8 hours to get a repairman out to the unit to add freon. The temperature in the unit went up to 85 degrees. It was miserable on Wednesday, as it was to hot in the unit. We couldn't go to the beach due to the storms. I had to call three times, before the local management started calling me with updates fot the repair. The alleged owner showed up on Monday asking to be let into the condo due to a water leak being reported by St John County. First, there was no water leak in the unit, or I would have reported it immediately. Second, there was no peep hole on the door to see the person on the outside and no call had been received by the local management office to let me know a stranger claiming to be the owner was coming to check on a leak. This a occurred during normal 8 to 5 business hours. The road to enter the secured condo complex was not paved and flooded twice during the week. The pool was not kept clean, and if we used the pool, we had to clean it ourselves first before using it. The stairwell entrance into the unit was disgusting. There was musty smell and nasty carpet on the stairs and walkway. Upon our initial entry into the condo unit, there was a terrible musty smell also. There was hair in the shower stall. We had to clean the unit ourselves. The unit was dirty before we cleaned. Lots of stress. A vacation from Hell.

Beautiful beachfront with great fishing spots

Location was convenient, condo beautifully decorated, everything we needed in the kitchen. We had a great stay. Only warning is there are a lot of stairs.

Location of the property was excellent

Renting was easy, communication processes was clear. We only had issue with second shower water pressure . Owner of the property stop by during checkout and we had mentioned this issue to him. Overall experience was good

Absolutely perfect

First of all, this place is exactly as pictured (living room/kitchen area is actually bigger). We met the owner as we were checking and he was super nice. The place was clean and charming and it doesn’t get much better than having the ocean right outside!

Just what we hoped for!

We stayed at this property from 9/19-26 and were very pleased with many facets of our stay. First of all, we were a little apprehensive going on vacation with my 92 year old mother, and the Covid-19 cautions but our worries were set to rest immediately with a tag on the door stating that the entire property was cleaned with an EPA anti virus cleanse. The owner showed great pride (and we were very pleased) that he took this extra step of protection) for his rental and we greatly appreciated it. Secondly, the condo was spotless and is equipped with all of the necessities one needs when away from home, even has an expresso machine with expresso cups ready to use. The King bed was very comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows and the huge TV's were very nice (once we figured out how to use it! lol) we're old! lol.. Everything was marked with notes to help you operate things you need to know in the home. We loved the layout, it worked with my mother as well. As you enter the home, the guest bedroom and bath is on this level, a few steps up is the main living area, and a few steps down is the master suite.. It made it feel much more spacious then a regular condo. Also, you can't get any closer to the ocean and beach! The views from the upper deck were amazing and the screened porch off the master suite is walk out to the beach. We had 2 pups with us and they loved it also. When we left, my mom hid her purse under her bed and we forgot it! We were in Georgia when we got the call from the cleaning person (Diane Guttierez), who called to let me know that she found it when she got there. I was so relieved! Diane was so kind as to ship the purse to me asap! She also did a fantastic job with having the rental perfect and clean when we got there. Great location!

This is our second time renting this property and the recent upgraded are great. Location can’t be beat and the neighbors were wonderful. Will be back again.

Very Nice Ocean Front

This was our second time at Sea Mantanzas. The condo is directly on the ocean, and the owner has done some recent renovations.

Enjoyed our stay.

Only issue is the black deck furniture needs replacement. A lot of rusty and sharp edges. My wife cut her leg getting up. Other cars park in your designated space as well in particular a black Hummer was frequently in my space.

With a little work and minimal money, this would be a 5

First the Pros: 1. Amazing view of the beach and the ocean. You are literally just a few steps from the beach. 2. Very few people on the beach. The most people I counted on the beach at one time was 8. Many times there were only 2 or 3 people on the beach. Cons: 1. The deck off the master bedroom is screened. However, there is no screen door. This means you could not keep out flying bugs such as dragon flies and mosquitos. Made it impossible to sit on the deck at night. 2. The fan in the master bathroom did not work. Enough said. 3. The pool was not well maintained. Also the garbage can area was next to the pools. Depending on the wind, you can sometimes smell the garbage. 4. Refrigerator did not have an ice maker although ice trays are provided. 5. The red umbrella that you see in the picture is broken and there is no umbrella there. That means if you want to sit on the upper deck in the morning with your coffee, be prepared for lots of sunshine and heat. With all of this, I still give it a 4. Shows you how amazing that beach and beach views are.
