We loved it! Cozy, very clean, and well kept. A bit older, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all.

Great Value in Mammoth Lakes

If you're looking for a centrally located, clean and well cared for unit in the Mammoth Lakes area that offers great value, this is an ideal choice. Close to a shuttle route and downtown area shopping and dining and not silly money like the mountainside locations.

Struggle to say anything good about this rental

COLD! Heat on constantly - cannot keep unit warm, bring a space heater or two. Stains everywhere, dining room table warped, LOUD - bldg is trash - can hear every step from upstairs, sounds like the ceiling is going to collapse, noise wakes you up. Unit manager was a complete jerk - Nate I believe, when I complained. The electrical outlets are overburdened breaking electrical code and a fire hazard. Shower runs out of hot water after one shower. Bathroom light was broken and no one came to fix. The master bed was comfortable is all I can say for a positive in this rental - AVOID!!! AVOID!!!!

Let down

We had high hopes and excitement with this booking only to arrive and find out that the pool and spa were under construction .(which was our main excitement to relax while our kids played) after that we had to change around our plans and figure out something else to do...which cost us extra money as then we were doing activities we hadn't planned for to fill our time we had planned to be swimming. Then we had upstairs neighbors that were rowdy and loud at night, so it took a while to the kids to fall asleep. We had multiple spiderwebs, and bugs creeping around in the condo, water issues, and loss of amenities...These things seem trivial, but as people who lived in mammoth for a decade before leaving and raising families in other towns we were excited to bring our kids to a place we loved doing these things we enjoyed doing when we lived here.. laying by the pool relaxing, soaking in the hot tub, and being in nature being our favorites. Instead we forked out extra money doing touristy crap just to keep our kids enjoying their summer vacation they were looking forward to. The place wasn't as clean as we kept our places while living there, bugs and nature are expected living in the mountains, but when we pay extra money to have amenities that weren't functional months prior and known by staff not to be working, it was just another annoyance to deal with. It was basically a roof over our head, and a bed, because the shower water has plumbing issues while there, and we had dinner plans ruined while waiting for the Plumber to come fix the shower that wouldn't turn off....and figure out if we needed to move to a different location. Fortunately vacasa staff helped us get the plumbing dealt with, but it was still at a terrible time during dinner hours that ruined that meal planning, with kids this caused extra whining and frustration. This location was one headache after the next... definitely won't be staying here again.

Dated but comfy

This condo is nice and comfy however dated and if there is anyone above you you will hear every move they make. The bigger issue was that the pool, spa and rec room were under construction, we paid extra for a condo with a pool and spa and when we notified Vacasa all we got was , "we'll contact our local rep", who we never heard from. Eventually, after many texts back and forth, and NOT ever speaking with anyone local, someone in the corporate office grudgingly agreed to a small refund for our disappointment

Very cozy and comfortable - near everything

First time at Mammoth with my three kids ages 10 to 13 and we had a fantastic time partly because of this condo which is so cozy and comfortable. Love the bear decor, very very clean, comfy couch, super close to anything you could want, easy parking/ driving/ arrival access. Overall a find that I expect to be visiting again with my family!

Great stay

Our family of 4 had a great stay here. Across the street from the Mammoth shuttle and right around the corner from the grocery store, gear shops, and restaurants. Be sure to bring matches/lighter for the fireplace, quarters for the pool table/game room, and towels for the hot tub. There are nice showers in the spa area, which we used since the condo had limited hot water. Wound stay here again.

Great cozy place. Great location easy walk to Vons. Cleaning fee is pricy but that means you don’t have to spend so much time doing laundry and stuff like that

Good value with a fine location and comfortable bed

We enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good overall value. it's a bit dated and the kitchen accessories were quite limited. (no toaster, oil, or coffee). The parking right next to the ground floor unit was very helpful. Overall, we were perfectly happy.

It is a lovely condo. Great location, clean and cozy. Only problem is it’s advertised as accessible, which it really isn’t. Had a hard time getting in and out of the bathroom with my walker due to the way the door opens and closes. There are no hand bars in the bathroom or shower. It was impossible for me to get into shower there, aside from having to step into the tub with sliding doors there is nothing to grab onto for stabilization while in the shower. I don’t see how a wheelchair bound person would even be able to use the bathroom.

Nice Condo perfect for 4

We loved there being a separate bedroom with a king, and an alcove with twin bunks. As the title said, it was perfect for four people. The condo had a Mountainy cozy feel to it.

New Year stay

The property is clean, but old and tired. There is no light in dining area, just a hole with wires, which made it difficult to use table. The kitchen has just barely what is needed, and not decent, such as chipped plates, mismatched mugs, one of the pots is functional but severly burnt. Just not enjoyable for cooking and eating overall. Pillows are not acceptable, bring your own. Beds were adequate but not very comfortable, but plenty of warm blankets. The location was nice for groceries and brewery and restaurants.

Best stay we have experienced....the place had everything we needed for our stay.. Roomy, cozy and very clean. Loved how our needs were met and how there was constant communication between us and staff. My family and I would most definitely use this service again and highly recommend it to family and friends

Overall great spot..convenient, 2 minute walk to the shuttle (goes to both the Village and Eagle). Only complaint is that the hot water was luke warm at best for the 3rd/4th person..was fine for the first two.

Clean and convenient for a good price

Took a weekend trip to Mammoth with the wife and two kids. Booking and check-in were a breeze. The description and pics represent the property accurately. It's a convenient location in the middle of town for a good rate. It was only slightly more expensive than hotel options we were considering, but provided more space and a full kitchen. I'm assuming it's a high volume rental so there's some wear on the place, but they keep it clean. The heaters and wood burning stove kept us nice and cozy, and the couches were comfy to sit on. We heard some noise from the upper unit in the morning, i.e. people walking around, and water running, but it wasn't that bad and to be expected with older construction. We'd rent this unit again.

The main thing for my brother and I was it was ground floor and easy to get to. We were fishing all day and ate Dinner out. If possible I would redo the shower/ toilet area. Great stay........

Needs some TLC

Great location, but the condo is pretty worn out from guest traffic. Couch is stained, a lamp was broken, all of the dishes were chipped, the heater made constant clicking noises, and there was an unpleasant, faint odor in the unit. Could be a fabulous place with some updated furniture and a thorough, deep clean.

Cozy place. Sleeps six but probably four comfortably with luggage

Close to grocery stores/ eateries and ski rental. Clean. If you’re expecting an amenity though, try to call property/owner in advance and make sure it is actually available for use.
