Everything was old and disgusting,

Everything was disgustingly old even cooking pans, outdoor tables were completely destroyed, bbq was for world war 2 , carpet was really dirty in living room, in general was disgusting , don't book this place

Best house on the beach

This house had plenty of room & was perfectly located right on the beach which had spectacular views. My family will forever have fond memories of the time we spent here!

Family getaway

Great location, and house! We all had our own space and perfect hanging out areas in kitchen and living area!!! The decks are just lovely, enjoying the beach any time!

Great spot on a great beach

Can’t beat the location. Steps from the back door is the beautiful Gulf Coast Beach. Everything in the rental promotion was as it was. We went with adults and teenagers and it was great.

Excellent vacation home for Large family waith Great Beach Access

We loved the location of this home, far enough away from large condos such that beach was not crowded but close enough for short trip to tourist areas. The home offers great beach views and access so when the weather wasn't the best, we could still enjoy the scenery. Also highly recommend Sunnyside Grill for a nearby breakfast (We did take out).

Fall Getaway

The house was a good size for our family. Location was great! We went in October so even though we were close to a beach access, it was not crowded. The house was clean but needs a lot of TLC. In the kitchen and family area they had been working on the floor and there was yellow tape on the floor and the boards were not even, and they also had additional flooring stacked in the living room. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. We had problems with the master bedroom shower leaking, but this was promptly attended to. We could not get any of the televisions to work except the one in the living room. For the price updates need to be made. The weather was wonderful while we were there and we spent most of our days on the beautiful beach and water.

Large house with Great location

Enjoyed our stay. No major issues and overall a good place for a beach vaca. Great location on the beach but wish the house was not right next to the public beach walkway. Also, would have been better if the upstairs deck had furniture. Everything else was good. Lots of dishes and things to help make the stay nice. Lots of room for everyone.

Exactly what my family needed....

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Spray really was the icing on the gulf cake! The house was clean, well stocked with towels and was just steps from the white sand! It comfortably accommodated my family of 14 and was located in a quiet area of PCB. We will definitely be back!

Nice for family stay

House wasn’t as clean as I expected with covid cleaning processes in place. It smelled musty when we entered and there was trash left under the bed in the master (I found when looking for a dropped pacifier!) The house itself is off a busy road which made me a little nervous when leaving with the kiddos but we just held their hands until they were in the car and it was fine. Location to the beach was amazing and the views excellent! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect Beach Staycation

Our family stayed here over thanksgiving for 8 days. It was much nicer and cleaner than previously read reviews. The king suite upstairs was perfect for my husband and I to stay in. The beds the others stayed in were not very comfortable but ours was very nice. The furniture was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family. We rented from Myles(recommended from house manager) and he was amazing to work with. I brought knives, dish towels and purchased a broiler which I left with the house. Other than the broiler the house was very well stocked! Great location for our family holiday on the beach! Highly recommend and as house owners and renters ourselves you won’t be disappointed or dissatisfied.

Thanksgiving at the Beach

The Ocean Spray was a delightful way to spend Thanksgiving with my family. The property exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. The check-in process went without a hitch, other than my failure to operate the lock (no one had trouble but me!). We had no problems to report. Everything was as it should have been. The rooms were a good size, and everything was in great working condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property and look forward to coming again.

Great Beach Vacation

This house was perfect for our family to spread out and enjoy being together while having some space of our own (with 3 generations in one place!) The location was in a nice uncrowded area so that we weren't having to feel crowded on the beach - and we could just walk off our deck onto the sand and gulf water! It wasn't fancy but it was clean and all of the beds were very comfortable. The kids could make noise without causing any neighbors discomfort. We had everything we needed in the kitchen - and washer/dryer was very convenient. We will be back!

When we entered the property, we were greeted with the smell of curry. We then noticed that the furniture and other accommodations were run down, including the sofas and beds. One of the dining room chairs had a broken leg. The patio furniture consisted of cheap plastic chairs, three of which were broken. Therefore, it was difficult to enjoy the view of the ocean from the porches. The outdoor shower also did not work and wad not fixed until the fourth day of our visit.

Good location

The best thing about this property is the location. Carpets and LR furniture to be replaced, and better attention given to appliances and kitchen utensils. We had to purchase knives to chop veggies, cut meat, etc because the one at the house was broken, the small counter oven had to be unplugged ti turn off, and the display light in the stove didn’t work. Only one kitchen towel. No beach chairs provided with the house and no chair rental included; porch furniture was sad. A few plastic chairs. The grill was also sad. House sits beside a public beach access so there are people coming and going…a lot, and at all hours. Didn’t really mind that except it makes it a bit challenging to have some quiet time on the deck. However, we enjoyed the week and RealJoy vacation rentals are great to work with!

Corona Virus Week!

Arrived at the beginning of the virus threat and house was well cleaned and safe to stay. Beautiful location and would have liked to visit more attractions but businesses were ordered closed Stayed 1 week and beaches closed as we headed home. Only issue was contacting the 24/7 service number on the refrigerator. One of our couples flight was delayed and we wanted to see if we could rent the property for 1 more night. A lady answered the phone and said she would call back but never did. We also left messages via email and text via VRBO app! With everyone calling to cancel and wanting a refund, you would think us wanting to rent another night would be a priority...... other than the poor response, it was a great time. I brought 2 boats and got a video sailing with the dolphins. Perfect.

Steps from the Beautiful Emerald Water

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is large and comfortable. Not fancy, a little outdated really but very homey. Just a little note however the 5th bedroom is actually a garage conversion so if you need more than one ground floor bedroom keep this in mind, it did not look like a conversion from the inside accept for the steps. We had an issue with the TV's the first night but Rental Agent came early the next morning to help us. The overall feel of this was like we were at home. We all enjoyed being so close to the water and we took full advantage of this. My 85 year old father loved walking down to the beach. Because of the proximity he could easily do This. We enjoyed our stay very much. We were here for a wedding and the event was held at Distillery 98 in Santa Rosa Beach...another great place for you to check out.
