We had a fabulous family holiday here. Ideal for a multi-generational gathering. The house is huge, has been beautifully and stylishly renovated, with so many different touches newly noticed each day. Hard to get a full sense of the scale of it from the description, and in the first few hours there it was easy to get lost inside! The grounds too are a delight with many areas to enjoy. There's loads to do on-site - many games including boules (which we loved), table tennis, badminton, table football. Excellent internet connection with qr code access. The pool area is an absolute gem too, so popular with our younger guests. You can walk into the village for baguettes, or cycle (the Eurovelo track is behind the pool), and an easy cycle or drive into St Remy. I can recommend Chez Paul for a superb meal and great service. Fantastic all round.

Very beatifull villa

We have a wonderful time in the villa. We were 4 families, 17 people. Perfect for us. Good equipment on the two kitchens. Big garden, big pool, enough chairs outside, good communication with the Christoph. We would love to come back.

We just spent a fantastic week in the mas at St Etienne du Gres. The property is very spacious with 9 bedrooms, each of them with AC and most of them with an individual bathroom, which was perfect for our group of 13 adults. There are 2 kitchens with many utensils (the coffee machine was amazing), dishwashers, large fridges. The house offers many options in terms of entertainment ("boules de petanque", foosball, pingpong table, various TVs with streaming from Netflix), etc... There is also a tennis club nearby, which we used several times during our stay. The swimming pool is large, very clean with several comfortable chaise lounge around it. There is a very nice bike path that passes nearby and is easily accessible from the property (a good way to get to St Remy without having to take a car). Overall, we found that the description of the property was very accurate. The concierge team in charge of the check-in and check-out process was very friendly, professional and responsive when we had questions during the week. The house was very well prepared (clean and welcoming) for our arrival. Excellent quality of bedding. St Etienne du Gres is a small village with a very nice bakery, a butcher, a small (but very knowledgeable) wine & liquor store and a cafe. There is a large grocery store (Intermarche) in the direction of Beaucaire where you can buy groceries for the week. We spent a day in Camargue (a must see!).Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay. Thank you Christophe.

Nice house, poor service

Very mixed. Big house, lovely pool, well appointed kitchen, nice locale. However, the house manager was very contentious from the start, not very responsive, and definitely not interested in making our stay comfortable (no toilet paper or soap in the entire house when we arrived after a trans Atlantic flight, some dirty towels and argued about giving us more, lots of threats of additional charges, etc). She accused us of breaking a sun umbrella upon checkout that was broken when we arrived. Luckily we happened to capture a photo of it broken on our first day- and she never apologized! The listing says it sleeps 18-19 but that is not adults. We were 12 and it wasn’t ideal (ie grown adults sharing a room or needing to climb a ladder to get in bed). The bedrooms are nicely air conditioned, but the living areas are not, despite the description. When the bugs come out after dark, you can’t open the windows, and the house is very stuffy. Also, a simple fan in the kitchen would be ideal. This house could be great with a more welcoming staff and a few small changes.

You forget to say that you asked a few days before arriving for a discount on the price, as a family could not come. You have booked the most popular week of the season. So I refused. As I would have done if you had negotiated the price when you booked. We rent the entire house. I am not sure that you would have agreed to share the swimming pool area or the vacant rooms with other occupants. In fact, you've mistaken the house for a hotel with personal chef services, breakfast and winery tours. You therefore arrived with a negative feeling which is illustrated in your comments. The reality of the facts is quite different. Obviously there was toilet paper when you arrived. Just like a welcome basket (with wine, olive oil, coffee and jam) which could have relaxed you after such a long trip. You are the only ones to complain about the high-end concierge service, available 24/7, that we have commissioned. As testified by positive reviews from groups of 15 to 18 people of family or friends received over the past 4 years. When you talk about insects, I imagine you are talking about the cicadas, whose song brings joy to so many vacationers.

Zahlreiche Ausflugsziele liegen in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Alles in allem: ein top Ferienhaus in toller Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
