We have addressed your concerns with our housekeeping manager and are rectifying all issues mentioned. We have implemented new cleaning protocols and mandated that pre-arrival photos be taken prior to each guest's arrival to ensure our units are being thoroughly cleaned and inspected. We take full responsibility for any issues you discovered and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We also apologize for any pests you encountered while staying with us. Palmetto bugs are native to the area and are known to seek shelter indoors during periods of intense heat and rain. Nevertheless, we understand this can be unsettling and we are doing all we can to remedy this issue. In addition to quarterly treatments, our unit is now being sprayed prior to guests’ arrival and following their departure. We are keeping a close eye on this issue and will continue to monitor and spray as needed. We are happy to report that as of August 2023, we have not received any notice of live bugs inside the unit. Nevertheless, we are so sorry for any issues you experienced and appreciate your patience while we remedy this issue. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and hope that despite these challenges, you were able to enjoy your time in the area. Thank you for your review. As part of our ongoing effort to improve our service, we encourage our guests to review their stay and welcome all feedback, both positive and negative. However, we believe guest health and safety are of utmost importance and we take these accusations very seriously. Upon being notified of potential bed bugs, our emergency pest protocol was immediately activated and a licensed professional was called to inspect and monitor the unit. As soon as we received confirmation that there were NO bedbugs in our unit and NO signs of previous infestation, we informed the guest and promptly forwarded her the professional certification we received from the inspector. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bed bugs and take this very seriously. However, we do apologize if you felt otherwise. Our housekeeping team is scheduled to steam clean the floors and a work order has been put in to fix the toilet paper roll, towel rack and remotes. Good news – the refrigerator and dishwasher have been fixed and the kitchen has been restocked with all new dinnerware! The owner has also approved our request for new living room furniture, bunks and bunk mattresses. Although we know this does not change your experience, we're grateful for your suggestions and your willingness to help us create a better "feel good" environment for future guests.
