Spacious Home with Awesome view

We were there on a Realtor Retreat. The home was very spacious and open, that allowed us to be together in the main area and not cramped up. The kitchen was large enough for several of us to be in the kitchen at the same time. We had a great time, very relaxing.

Amazing!!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. It accommodated 4 adults and 8 kids easily. Everyone loved the game room downstairs and the spacious beds. It was nice having 5 bathrooms so nobody ever needed to wait on one. We loved American Beauty!! It made our special weekend so much more special!

Updating

House needs some updating to kitchen, decks and beds .the bed on loft had a the biggest looking pee stain on it and all bed were hard .the deck outside had some Boards that need to be repaired ASAP. The microwave handle broken in held on by Screws.

Family trip

Check in was very easy. Directions to cabin was a little tricky, but was able to find the cabin. Only issue we had with a family of 12 and 6 were kids, we ran out of hot water during morning baths. Mainly our fault due to all the girls hair washing. The other problem is the road going up the mountain is very very marrow. No way two vehicles can pass. We had large SUV’s. Very steep road also. I would not want to go up or down in snow or ice.

Summer 23

Beautiful view, clean and well maintained. Staff at office were extremely nice. Things that could improve the stay would be possibly trimming the branches on the right side of deck when looking over the valley. Hot tub was leaking from top deck to bottom deck and water in the hot tub was not great. Didn’t use it since it was summer.

Excellent Stay, Sketchy Drive

The cabin was absolutely fabulous. It was very clean, had great bedding, and was exactly how it was listed. The only drawback we had was the drive up to the cabin. It was not for the faint of heart. In the summer and in non-icy weather, the drive is okay. However, when the weather is icy and/or snowy I could see the drive being treacherous and scary, especially for those with anxiety.

Good times

It is a wonderful property. The pictures in the listing don't do justice for the actual views. They are breathtaking. Very close to the park via Metcalf bottoms entrance. I will stay again if we ever need a cabin this big.

American Beauty

Was everything I was looking for. The view was spectacular. It was spacious to accommodate 16 guest, with some privacy. The kitchen was had everything needed to prepare dinners. I will highly recommend this cabin. It was absolutely beautiful.

Great 4 nights.

The cabin was clean and as described. It's has a beautiful view but it's up on a mountain so prepare for steep drive up.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at American Beauty. It was a large spacious cabin. Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Our group couldn’t have picked a better cabin to stay in.

Fantastic

We had a great stay in American Beauty. It’s very spacious and cozy at the same time. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived. The management company even called after we left because they found a bag we had left behind, and will be shipping home to us. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This property for great for our family of 15. Everyone was comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. The cabin could have been a little cleaner. Also the air condition on the 2nd level was not as cool as the main floor. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cabin needs maintenance

This could be a really nice cabin but it needs maintenance. Deck, deck railing, and deck chairs are in poor shape. One year old baby was able to pull loose a deck railing spindle which could have led to a 30 foot fall. Deck railing is old and has been repaired numerous times and is not safe. Cigarette butts were scattered across both upper and lower decks. There is trash on the hillside behind the cabin that is unattractive. The kitchen table has a bar stool supporting the the middle of the table. One of the kitchen chairs is completely broken. Ice maker does not work. The TV in the main room has no instructions on how it works and none of the 5 remotes worked with the TV. None of the tubs had grab bars which is especially needed getting in and out of the Jacuzzi tubs. A few essential kitchen utensils missing. The cabin is very high on the mountain and is quite an adventure to reach it (steep inclines). Might be impossible in extreme weather conditions. Check in process was very easy. Staff courteous. The layout of the cabin was good, and it had an excellent view of the valley. Cabin was clean on the inside. Hot tub was fine and there was plenty of hot water available for showers. This cabin just needs some maintenance and then it could be an excellent rental property.

Great views

This cabin has great views check in process was easy with clear directions however cabin is in desperate need of updating and cleaning. Heat went out downstairs but we were provided space heaters to help. Door entry hard to open as lock needs to be repaired. Older appliances wobbly dining chairs ,broken blinds and thick dust. Just expected a little more for the price paid. 5 stars for customer service.

Oven was bad and not cooking well. Refrig old and falling apart. Downstairs bedroom with no lights.

We made it good but house needs updating and not clean at all. Several things broken and dishwasher would not get dishes clean. Lights not working in bedroom. No toilet paper, trash bags, soap. I will not stay there again until it is updated

Best view but outdated!!

The view was one of the best. The cabin need updated very bad. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabin other than night. If you stay you need to take thing to cook with most have rusted. The glass was dirty. The rocking chairs need repair. One of the bathtubs would take forever to drain. We sure did enjoy the visit from the bear!!

Fall with family in the Smokies

Booking, etc was simple. I had read the previous reviews about this cabin/house needs some updating- it does indeed. When checking out today I discussed with Volunteer Rental personnel- the handrail on outside steps(4x4 post), is very loose and shaking, the microwave door handle is broken, there is no handrail in bathrooms on 1st floor- with those huge jacuzzi’s in both main floor bathrooms- there needs to be bars to assist the elderly(my 93 year old aunt was with us- she’s not handicapped, but is unsteady). The ice maker does not work, and the freezer of the refrig did not freeze. So, for the price I was very disappointed in what I thought would be nice quality. Too little soap , toilet paper, and paper towels for a weeks booking for 5. My 3 cousins and I (ages raged 64-93), enjoyed our time together and the view is breathtaking- just needs some focus, on details to get it worth the price paid. I’ve rented many times with VRBO, first time I’ve been disappointed, this location needs work. 😩
