We regret that you experienced some maintenance issues during your stay. We have full-time maintenance available 7-days a week including after-hours, so by reporting the maintenance issues we could have easily and promptly resolved them for you. Your suggestion to replace some kitchenware has been passed along to the homeowner and we are confident that the appropriate measures will be taken to make the necessary improvements. Once a year we perform a complete household inventory and see that the home is restocked with essential items, such as cookware. The Town of Surfside does a fantastic job keeping our family-friendly beach in pristine condition for all to enjoy, which does come with some rules that must be followed. To clarify, here is the Town’s policy on pets and tents: - Dogs or other domestic pets are not permitted on the public beach during the period between May 15 and September 15. Between September 16 and May 14 leashed dogs are allowed on the beach. - Any canopy, tent, or other shading device shall not exceed a maximum size of ten feet by ten feet (10' x 10'). Umbrellas or other shading devices, including baby tents, shall be placed in a location behind the lifeguard stand in such a manner that the lifeguard's view of the beach shall not be obstructed.
