This place is perfect, luann is awesome and we will most definitely be coming back. We came here for a pool tournament in jax didn't win but this place made it all feel great.

The place was great. I felt very safe staying there by myself. I had a little difficulty finding the place because I didn’t see the house numbers. I had to drive past it a few times before I took a chance. Other that it was a great stay, would book again.

Charming Cabana Stay!

Absolutely perfect place for my husband & I. Simple, clean, used the pool most days. Able to utilize cute little fridge & microwave. LuAnn & Andy were informative & gracious hosts. Would def stay again.

We did not use the pool. The pool house is in a great location; however, it was not as clean as we would prefer. The handle fell of the fridge as soon as we tried to open it (we could open other ways). The toilet and tub did not appear to be cleaned (see photos), the border around the apartment was really dirty and did not look like it had been cleaned in quite some time as well as the border/trim around the ceilings… And the ceiling fan in the kitchen/bathroom area was very dirty. Please see pictures. The host was very helpful, responsive, and engaging. Everything else was good with the exception of the cleanliness.

A sweet spot nestled in a charming neighborhood! Walking distance to a wonderful park and a boulevard lined with shops and restaurants. Host is friendly and easy to communicate with-I enjoyed my stay and will book it again!

Perfect

The place was amazing. My wife and I flew in for an extended weekend stay. The bed was comfy, the place was clean and well set up. You can use the pool, and you have your own parking spot. It’s very quiet and in a good neighborhood plus you’re within walking distance from everything you could need. The property owner was very nice and you’d never know they were even there. Would recommend!

Convenient for our stay

We booked this cute cottage because it is 2 doors away from our daughter's home. Though we usually stay with her, it was not convenient this particular weekend. We loved having our "own" place to retreat to (within walking distance) at the end of the day. Hostess LuAnn was most accommodating and really easy to work with!

St Johns Cottage

This is a great place to stay. We had a business trip and glad to be away from traffic and motel life. Very clean and comfortable cottage. Ideal for a couple in a quiet neighborhood.

Cute cottage/great walkable location

Perfect spot, just as pictured . Pool/outdoor area very inviting, along with pretty summer flowers ! In town visiting family. Hosts were friendly and accommodating ! Will definitely stay here again when in town . Easy parking, easy check in and out . Also very peaceful and quiet neighborhood .

Communication with host was fantastic. Cottage was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Very cute and cozy. The path leading to the cottage definitely needs some work. The stepping stones were nearly covered by grass and uneven. There is a light that comes on when you come through the gate. However, the small disc lights that are along the path were not very bright and were obstructed by grass. There needs to be more lights either next to the front door or on the corner of the cottage. It was very dark when we came in after dark. The plants along the path need trimming especially near the gate. They were hanging over the path.

We are an empty nester couple who are enjoying our adopted hometown of Jacksonville! We live in the main house on the property. Travel is our foremost passion and we spent all of 2014 traveling around the world with just us and our carry-ons. This is how we were introduced to VRBO since this was our main go-to on that adventure!
We have a very sweet gentle Great Dane, Heidi, who you may occasionally see out taking a sunbath!

We love our mid century modern home in the Historic District and when we discovered the potential of our pool cottage we were even more excited. Our neighborhood is so wonderful with such a varied amount of architectural styles, mainly dating back to the 1900's. A perfect place for a leisurely walk with a stop in one of Avondale's great restaurants.

The benefit of this location is that it is so completely walkable and relaxing if you prefer to stay in the neighborhood. . Or, hop into your car, and about a half an hour later you can also be at the beach! Less than a half hour and you can visit downtown, or be at the stadium for a Jag's game, or even visit our wonderful zoo. Wander a bit further to one of the coastal reserves- Big or Little Talbot and Amelia Island. You will not be bored.
