My husband and I are from Michigan. It was always our dream to own a home in Florida to escape the cold winters. We looked all over the state before purchasing this home. My husbands company was talking about transferring him to Germany and we had a vacation planned for Thanksgiving in Florida. Each time we would visit we would schedule with the real estate agent. As we were traveling from Michigan, we agreed we would not buy anything this time because if we were transferred it would not make sense. Then we stepped into the Admiral's View. We fell in love with it immediately!!! We agreed if we did not buy it we would spend the next 10 years looking for something even close. The property had been on the market one day and we got into a bidding war to win the property. I tell you this only to give you an indication of how nice and unique it is. A week after we made the offer, we got transferred to Germany. We took possession the end of Dec. and transferred to Germany in Jan. This is how we decided to rent it for a few months of the year because it is was an impossible weekend trip from Frankfurt to Naples. We did not rent it at all the first year, the second year we rented it only a few weeks. The next 2 years while we were out of the country, the same people (who also fell in love with it) rented for a brief seasonal time. They would probably still rent if they had not bought a bigger house to accomodate visit from their grandchildren. This home is not a normal rental. It is really our second home that we share with others a few weeks of the year. To this day, every time we are in the house, my husband still says "it is so beautiful here, I can't believe this is our house" and I call it my "happy place".

We love the water views and this home has those views from every room. We see the sunrise on one side and the sunset on the other, both over the water. We watch the dolphins, manatees and birds play in between. the home is situated on the very end of a small peninsula making it the perfect setting. With windows in every room and a sky light in the living room the home is filled with light. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and only a few minute walk to several different restaurants. It is centrally located to many activities from shopping to boat rentals. We wanted the privacy of our own outdoor space and we have the patio, 2 lanais and roof top deck. Additionally, it is easy to do water sports right off the dock and if you have a boat, we have a dock. It really does not get any better than this!!!

So peaceful. We love the windows, sunsets and wild life. We looked at properties all over the state before buying this home. Many of the condos are what I call "bowling alleys". There is a window at one end, they are narrow and dark, and there is a window at the other end. I hate that. Not in this home, there is a window in every room and each has a fabulous view. The location is perfect close to everything. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub and the guest bedroom has an en suite. The roof top deck has the most incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. I love to sit in the loft and read a book or open the door to the roof top deck when I am working. The outdoor hot shower is a nice treat too, especially after visiting the beach. This home is so unique, from the architecture to decorating, there is nothing like it.
