This home in the historic Le Courbusier is terrific. We appreciated looking through the notebook on the dining room table and learning of this building. It is unique. What a great place to bring people together and provide so many amenities in the same building. I understand now why it is called the « radiant city » that even includes a school.

We loved our time in Michel’s apartment at the Cité Radieuse. Check-in was simple with clear step-by-step instructions, and communication was fast and friendly throughout. The apartment was exactly as described, very clean and calm, and it is obvious the building and the flat are well looked after.Staying here feels like living inside a piece of architecture. We enjoyed wandering the interior “streets” and visiting the rooftop for sunrise and sunset. The location in the 8th is handy for Parc Borély and the Prado beaches, with easy transport to the Vieux-Port.Checkout was just as smooth. Thank you, Michel, for a memorable and very comfortable stay. We would happily return.

Formidable appartement rénové par un fin connaisseur de Le Corbusier et du mobilier des années 50. C‘était juste parfait. Merci ! C‘est une véritable expérience que d‘habiter quelques jours dans cet appartement, cela donne une idée de comment les premiers locataires de la Cité Radieuse ont habité.

Parfait week-end.

Nous étions 5 amis d’enfance pour des retrouvailles et tout a été parfait. L’appartement est parfaitement entretenu, spacieux et agréable. Excellente expérience

C'est mon deuxième séjour à la Cité radieuse. Je suis très satisfaite de ces trois semaines. Le cadre est fantastique. L'appartement est confortable et bien décoré. La vue est magnifique. Michel est un hôte parfait.

Quelle chance nous avons eu de tomber sur cette annonce qui nous a permis de passer 2 nuits à la cité radieuse. L'immeuble est incroyable et l'appartement également. Arrivée et départ nickel, tout est bien pensé et il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans l'appartement. Nous avons même pu passer un p'tit bout de la soirée sur le toit avec vue sur Marseille. On recommande 👍😁

Living in Joy

Communications with Michel from the beginning were prompt and friendly, he adjusted check-in times and was extremely helpful regarding local knowledge, a perfect host! The experience of the apartment exceeded all expectations, lovingly restored to Le Cobusiers vision and felt authentic without being over done or precious. The fittings and furniture - Charlotte Perriand wall lights, the Corb Chaise Longue, all added to the experience. My only suggestion is that the pillows could have been better but that is very a minor issue. The joy of watching the sunrise over the mountains on one side and watching it set over the sea on the other was incredibly beautiful. Even on a cold January morning we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. I took so many photos as every angle proposed endless beautiful configurations. The rooftop is a must too! We left with the promise to return again. Thank you Michel.

Vivre dans une oeuvre d'art

Merveilleux séjour dans un décor de rêve. Michel a très bien rénové l'appartement dans l'esprit de Le Corbusier. La vue est magnifique. L'appartement traversant permet de ne pas souffrir de la chaleur. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la bibliothèque et ses nombreux livres sur l'architecture. Une expérience à renouveler.

Wonderful Stay

Spent a wonderful 10 days in this lovingly restored apartment, felt like we were truly living as Le Corbusier intended! Great library of books and very well equipped, with lots of little extras. Michel was very easy to communicate with and generously let us stay longer on our last day, as our flight was altered. Easy to get into Marseille using the local Metro that is 15 minutes walk away, and also a nice walk to local coast. Thoroughly recommend.

Idéal pour les fans de design et d'architecture !

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend en famille dans l'appartement de Michel, rénové à la perfection et dans l'esprit initial de Le Corbusier. C'était un plaisir de pouvoir profiter de cet endroit atypique, avec une mention spéciale pour le balcon vue mer et couché de soleil. Une fan d'architecture étant avec nous, le très grand nombre de livres à disposition était plus que bienvenue. Des bus fréquents passent en bas de la résidence, sinon le métro est à 15 min à pied. Un très grand supermarché à 5 mn.

Very special unit

The unit was spacious and a bit quirky, which made it very special. We loved staying at the unique and architecturally significant building. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Public transportation just a very short walk away. The view of the coast was amazing. We enjoyed our stay.
