    I would come back

    The great place for a short stay. Everything is like on the pictures, but the space in reality is bigger than it seems on foto. There are some issues which require to be fixed, but they aren't spoiled my stay. Jamila is a sweetest host.A little bit noisy street and aircondition, so I have a perfect earplugs.

    Nice central and COOL apartment

    Very nicely situated near the metro station and amongst markets and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony in the morning after going down the the market outside the apartment to get fresh fruit and baking. The AC unit was a lifesaver and helped us have a very restful stay.

    Fascinating Marseille!

    All two people need to discover central Marseille. As long as one leaves the building all the marvels of north African cuisine are set out on thstreet!

    Great location lovely host

    This is a lovely quiet flat in a very cosmopolitan busy location, so it’s perfect for a short stay. Very close to transport links, the old port and museums. Very vibrant market below but amazingly quiet in the flat. Cool in the morning, very hot later in day during v hot weather - air conditioning great but noisy! Our host is absolutely delightful, very kind, warm and welcoming.

    Great arpartment in the heart of Marseille

    The apartment is very nice, and in particular, really original and tasteful. Djamila is a great host - good communication, really friendly in person. The place, facing the couryard, is very peaceful and quiet - amazingly so given the very lively location. This location might not be for everyone, but hopefully if you are going to the center of Marseille you have some kind of idea of the unique and vibrant city you will experience; I loved being right in the middle of it. Finally: do yourself a favour and get some food round the corner at Chez Yassine :]

    Short visit to Marseille

    We took the airport shuttle bus to Gare St. Charles, and walked down to the apartment. Djamila did give good walking instructions, but we started by going down some steps that were not the ones she referred to ( and that are well known by anyone familiar with St. Charles) so we saw a bit more of Marseille than intended before locating our accoms. The apartment is located in the midst of a busy souq-like market area, which was fine with us, but might be a bit overwhelming to some. The front door to the building had the number 2 above it, a bit obscure at first with all the activity. It was an excellent base for our explorations, clean, quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. A very short walk to the old port, the Metro, and bus service. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby.

    Pretty average

    The location may be great for some but we didn't feel safe walking back there at night. The apartment was safe just not the location for us. What should have taken 30 minutes to get to from the airport we were still in the taxi over an hour later. He didn't to drop us off on the street. Our host did meet us. And we eventually got up 4 flights of stairs and into the apartment. It was tidy. Towels smelt of cigarettes as did the bedding. And the bed was super hard and the fan was super loud. We spent a night there but found alternative accommodation.

    Die Wohnung ist schön und gepflegt, und liegt günstig und sicher im Zentrum. Wir würden sie empfehlen - nur der Hinweis, dass die unmittelbarste Umgebung sich nachts etwas zwielichtig anfühlt, wobei wir keine schlechten Erfahrungen oä gemacht haben. Djamila hatte neben einem sehr freundlichen Empfang und super Kommunikation vorab auch noch prima Tipps zum Essen. Marseille ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

    Ruhige Oase im lebendigen Viertel von Marseille

    es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir haben die Ruhe der Wohnung in dem lebendigen Viertel genossen.Die Kommunikation und der check in hat bestens geklappt. Und wir fanden es sehr aufmerksam, dass die Vermieterin nach der Hälfte unseres knapp zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts die Wäsche gewechselt und die Wohnung gereinigt hat.

    Mitten im Marktgeschehen ein unscheinbarer Eingang. Vier Stockwerke höher erwartete uns eine stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit persönlicher Note. Ruhiger Balkon Richtung Innenhof. Die Geräusche der Stadt im Hintergrund. Unkomplizierter Kontakt mit den Vermietern.

    Excellent séjour

    Appartement très bien situé, une fois passée la porte d'entrée, le calme et le confort règnent dans l'appartement. Nous avons apprécié énormément la petite terrasse sur laquelle nous prenions nos 3 repas. Une chaine stéréo d'excellente qualité accompagnait nos soirées. Les hôtes sont très agréables et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.

    ¡Estancia perfecta!

    El apartamento de Djamila es muy acogedor y espacioso, además cuenta con una pequeña terraza ideal para cenar o desayunar al aire libre. Se agradece tener una cocina equipada, con básicos como aceite y sal. El apartamento cuenta con un ventilador grande y con un aire acondicionado portátil, aunque el piso es muy fresco y apenas nos fue necesario usarlos al tener una buena corriente de aire. Además cuenta con una cuidada selección de libros y de CDs que se pueden escuchar en su aparato Bose (siempre respetando a los vecinos), aspecto que le da una personalidad especial. Aunque el edificio no dispone de ascensor, las escaleras son fáciles de transitar. La comunicación con Djamila fue excepcional, rápida y amable. Nos facilitó en todo momento la llegada y la salida del apartamento. Muy recomendable.
