I was visiting Phoenix with my 2 adult children. I grew up in Phoenix was back home visiting many family members who live there. The rental is centrally located with easy freeway access. We also went to Peoria to watch spring training workouts and a game, in addition we went to the, botanical gardens and took a desert hike at South Mountain. A bonus was the Catholic Cathedral is a mile from the duplex. We made the most of our visit and the Vrbo rental and the ease of the process was a part of it all.

Host was very responsive and kind. Invited us to try the oranges and grapefruit on the trees in front of the duplex. The living room was large and comfortable, everything was spotless. Backyard was completely fenced and safe for dogs. It has pea gravel, not grass. We felt safe in the unit and the neighborhood. Will stay again if opportunity arises.

Super Bowl stay

Centrally located which made my Super Bowl visit nice as events were located all the the Phoenix area. The owner easy to communicate with and able to give me extra days as the weather delayed getting home by motorcycle. The neighbors are nice and helpful. Nice little place to stay.

spring training week

the property was great the location was great and Nico was awsome.good communication unfortunately we had to leave early becauce of the virus situation.over all though the apartment was very clean and quiet wiyh all the comforts of home

Great if you are traveling with dogs

First off Nico was very quick with all correspondence! Thank you! We were in town for an event at State Farm Stadium, which is about 30 minutes away with traffic. We came with our 2 large dogs and this is right off of 17. This little place is not the Hilton but, it was very comfortable and fulfilled all of our needs, with a full kitchen, living room and fully fenced in backyard for the fur babies. The only things I felt it lacked was a broom and mop to clean up after the animals, kitchen towels and a proper sign in on the bedroom tv. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Phoenix again with animals. The price is definitely right. Thank you Nico🙏.

If you want to sleep at night find somewhere else.

The place itself was nice needs a good cleaning and updating (tape on outlets patches done but never finished things of that nature) I do not believe this place is professionally cleaned between guest. The host is nice enough and quickish to respond. The neighbors are nocturnal and love to fight between 1-3am so if you have things to do and need sleep this is probably not the place for you. You will be asked to more or less clean the place when you leave as well. This is something I normally do as I travel with my service dog so it didn't bother me as much as it might someone else. Overall with some cleaning/updating and removing the people nextdoor this would be a great place to stop but please don't the lister said she was going to stop taking bookings because of this and we'll that doesn't seem to be the case.

A few things…

Nico’s place overall was clean; however, the floors were VERY dirty. It was impossible to walk around inside without your feet turning black. This was concerning, especially after a shower. Nico was very responsive, but we had to call for help to get the Amazon Fire working correctly on the TV in the bedroom. The king size bed did not have an adequate base, so it sagged deeply in the middle, making for an uncomfortable sleep. The lockbox on the front door malfunctioned and the dishwasher started leaking dishwater onto the floor while we were checking out. When we communicated this to Nico, and that we put a towel down underneath the dishwasher for him, we didn’t hear from him again. Hopefully we won’t be charged for these incidents as we are not at fault for these items malfunctioning.

I will speak to cleaners regarding the floors . I responded very quickly regarding the fire stick and sent someone down there to help. I'm going to look and see if the bed needs reinforcing as well. The lock box did malfunction, but this was as the guest was checking out and did not put her out at all . I responded quickly to her message and helped her regarding the lock box. The dishwasher has since been replaced.

Not a safe area

First the worst : 6 days into our 3 week stay our truck window was busted out and items were stolen ,so we called the police and made a report and to the officers advice we left and booked another place in a safe area . I contacted Vrbo and asked to inquire about compensation from host , never heard anything . It took a week to get window replaced and cost $500. , so we were out that cost and the cost of the rest of the reservation. When we arrived at the duplex we noticed how unkept the neighbors was , then we went into rental and it needs a good cleaning and some updates . The toilet had fecal mater smeared on the seat, the light switches had tape over them , the back patio area had grass that was about 2 foot high and cigarette buts everywhere . The neighbors never slept and were very loud all night. The area has a lot of apartments in the area and noticed a lot of traffic coming to the duplex. The sweet dog Nina barked often while she was chained out front . We had to purchase a battery for the smoke alarm as it was constantly beeping and just laying on mantel . Would not recommend staying here .

Great Place!

We enjoyed our stay at this property which put us in a great central location to visit friends in Gold Canyon, Mesa and Sun City West. The apartment was clean, quiet, comfortable and as described.

Diamond in the rough

Let me start with the positive points. We had difficulty getting the lock box to open and the property manager was there in ten minutes to let us in. Kudos for his ability to help us out. The AC and heat worked great, the linens were superb, the entertainment system was great. On the other hand - this property is in dire need of a refresh. The entrance pavers are cracked and broken, the kitchen appliances are top notch but the cabinets are missing knobs, doors don’t close, dishes are miss matched and light switches are covered with tape to prevent someone from using them. There are broken bricks around the fireplace. As I titled this comment - this property has huge potential it just needs some loving TLC.

Great communication- I did not end up staying

Nico was fantastic to work with and answered all of my questions. He gave me wonderful check instructions and was will in to allow my dogs. Due to unforeseen events I did not end up staying at the property. However, I am looking forward to making another reservation and staying here soon

Awesome Roomy Quiet!

Great property, very clean, well equipped Kitchen, as a retired Executive Chef I love a good kitchen! lots of cool board games, great TVs, Comfortable Beds and cool in hot summer! Very Roomy would work great with family Trips!

Charming

The owner is awesome and very helpful. Beds are comfy. Nice, big table in kitchen to set up computers and spread out work. Nice living room with lots of seating for guests. Overall excellent experience - will definitely stay there again.

It was perfect

Property is 13 minutes north of city. Uber was between 22 to 35 depending on he of day. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Shower had great water pressure. Would highly recommend Nicco's place. When we left for home, received a text about forgetting a book and Nicco is sending it to me
