You are minutes from the famous Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament that takes place in June and it is home to some of the world renowned decoy carvers which can be seen at the Decoy Festival the first weekend in December.
You can take a ferry to Cape Lookout seashore and go shelling or shop in the quaint shops of downtown Beaufort.
