The perfect home to create your Island Traditions

This traditional Harkers Island home is the perfect place to unwind from the hurried world. Originally built in 1925, this water view home is in the middle of the quaint island known as Harkers Island. Even though this island is off the beaten path, it boasts some of best fishing and hunting around. You are minutes from the famous Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament that takes place in June and it is home to some of the world renowned decoy carvers which can be seen at the Decoy Festival the first weekend in December.
You can take a ferry to Cape Lookout seashore and go shelling or shop in the quaint shops of downtown Beaufort.
This home has 3 bedrooms, two baths and sleeps up to 8. If you have your own boat, there is a public boat ramp right up the road and covered parking at the house for your boat and car.
Known for it’s traditional ways, come immerse yourself in the island life and begin making your own Island Traditions.

The house was clean and the beds are comfortable. The house is close to many attractions and restaurants. The island is a very quaint and quiet neighborhood. We had an excellent vacation. Rae was a very thoughtful and responsive host providing many extra touches that make you feel right at home. We definitely plan to stay here again!!

Kitchen fully stocked. Loved the coffee and tea that was left - made coming from out of state so much easier. Would stay here agan. Clean and easy to get to. Host was in constant contact and answered any questions.

The home was excellent. Perfect place for a getaway. Beautifully decorated and had all of the needed amenities like coffee. The hosts were great and wanted to ensure my stay was comfortable and made sure everything I needed was there. Definitely staying here again on my next trip Down East.
