Great Value for beach stay

This was just what we needed for an excellent price. Great place to stay if you are looking to get your toes in the sand for a few days! Easy Check in, great communication, not over touristy, and property was in good shape.

Great Place To Relax!

This is just what we needed! A clean place with good amenities, right on the beach for a great price! Plenty of stuff to do close by and or simply relax on on a beach that wasn't too touristy! I would highly recommend, especially for a quick getaway!

Good Place for two....

Do not expect for much more than one small person to sleep on the Futon. The place was nice for two people, but our 4 adults very really pushing the space limit. Be warned the shower door leaks. Put down a towel. Its an ok place... just a few minor annoying things.

Summer vacay Sugar Beach

All around this was a very pleasant experience. The property was quiet around 9 and this was one thing I was a bit concerned about since this property is right on the main strip but you really couldn’t hear anything or anybody inside of the condo. The only thing I wasn’t very happy with was the cleanliness of the countertops in the kitchen and the shower. The couch that folds down into a bed was easily operable and the bed was very comfortable.

Not bad

The room was not bad. The utensils were slim and other various items not to be found that were needed. The main door could use some work and paint. You can’t see the ocean just a building being built. Overall wasn’t too bad.

Not as expected

I walked into room to find the mattress topper and bedspread in floor. Nothing was on top of the mattress to cover it. No information on local restaurants or things to do. The facility that this condo is at could be a little more updated. Beach access was great. Pools were clean. Parking was great. Will come back to facilty. Not this condo though.

Upon arrival the lock would work so we tried to open the door and it opened. We contacted Vacasa and they said they would get on it and nothing was done so we had to block the door with ice chest. The only good thing is the room was clean. It appeared that somokicked the door open and they didn’t fix it correctly. I would’ve put more stars but there was no functioning lock on the door and no one showed up like they said they would.

This place was a great location but nothing else. The room upon arrival was covered in sand including in the sheets . There was mold in the shower. We were sent a code that never worked our entire trip - we had to use the universal code . No service in this area and Wi-Fi would only work occasionally. TV never could connect so you couldn’t use it at all. Overall not very clean. Would NOT recommend!

The property itself was great, but the room that we got was sadly not so great. Although it was clean, there were some issues. The AC was not great we had all 3 fans and the window unit on and still was very warm, our bed felt like we were just sleeping on a pallet made on the floor, the water pressure in the shower was mid and our door code never worked, we had to call the company and ask for a new code to the door and it took 3 different codes before they found one that could get us into the room. Over all the stay was tolerable, I personally will not be staying here again but if you’re looking for a cheap stay that is close to everything then I would recommend this place.

Spring break 2022

It was clean and the beds were ok. The shower door was hanging loose at the bottom. The most worrisome thing was the door did not have a very secure lock. The deadbolt didn’t work because of the huge space missing on the doorframe. Had trouble with the code to get into the condo when we first got there.

Could not open door as code didn't work...construction right next door that started at 6 am...was only told after I had paid...3 forks? not a well appointed kitchen. one elevator that the door would wack you and not stop...hurt my elbow. Was told to pay $30 cash parking permit after the fact? Not a happy camper.

Perfect for a quick getaway!

The location of Sugar Beach is one of the best locations in Orange Beach. The location is easy to get in and out of and not congested like most of the other places. It’s a nice short walk to the beach(just downstairs) and the elevator is also a plus! The unit we stayed in was plenty big enough for my daughter and me. We decided on the spur of the moment to take a mom/daughter trip. The Vacasa person who communicated with me was very nice and made sure we had arrived safe and had no issues with the condo. We will definitely do another spur of the moment trip to this condo!!

Do not stay here

Window unit does not cool room. Ceiling fan broke. Bottoms of dresser drawers broken so couldn’t place clothes in there. Bed was hard as a rock. Sliding door is difficult to work. Outside Door does not shut well. Back of outside door is splintered and needs replacing.

located in an old condo building.

The room was clean and safe - the shower needs updating. it had a strip of duck tape against the door. water leaked on the floor. None of the remotes worked. The bed was like sleeping on styrofoam. the futon mattress was dirty and a little worse for the wear. but what really concerned me was the state of the building itself. It is very dated. The parking situation was the worst. We watched a woman try her best to park and scrape the side of her vehicle on the column. We got stuck in the elevator. My husband had to pry it open with the help of a couple on the other side - because the emergency call button didn't work. The couple who helped said that they were stuck the night before and had to do the same thing. Water was pooling next to the stairs on the bottom floor and it was deep and extremely dirty. The banisters around the building are PVC pipe - does not look safe. we spent most of our time off the property, but the pool area and beach seemed nice.
