We’re Kathy and Leo, the owners and operators of our Kihei Akahi condo. We’ve been visiting Maui and the Hawaiian Islands for more than 20 years, and Maui has always been our favorite island.

We love the South Kihei location for its beaches, sunsets, restaurants, golf, and relaxed island lifestyle. After years of dreaming about owning a place on Maui, we’re grateful to share our condo with guests who want a clean, comfortable, well-cared-for home base near Kamaole II Beach.

Because we personally manage our condo, guests work directly with us before, during, and after their stay. Our goal is to provide a smooth, responsive, and welcoming experience in every step of the process. We personalize the experience to what the guest needs and wants.

We chose our condo because it offers the combination we always wanted in a Maui condo: a beautifully remodeled interior, a convenient ground-floor location, and easy access to everything guests love about South Kihei.

What makes our condo special is the comfort and convenience once you are here. Our condo is in the quiet D building at Kihei Akahi, with a private ground-floor lanai and the upper pool just steps away. Inside, the condo has been thoughtfully remodeled with an upgraded kitchen, updated bathroom with walk-in shower, split A/C in both the living room and bedroom, a comfortable new king bed, in-unit washer/dryer, beach gear, and a remote-work friendly setup.

Many guests tell us they appreciate that our condo feels clean, updated, well stocked, and personally cared for. Because we own and manage it ourselves, we pay close attention to the details that make a stay easier and more comfortable.

And the location is hard to beat: Kamaole II Beach is directly across the street, with restaurants, shops, sunsets, golf, snorkeling, tennis, and pickleball are both on property.

• Convenient ground-floor living: No stairs or elevators needed. Walk out to the private lanai, grassy garden area, and upper pool just steps away.
• Thoughtfully remodeled in 2023: The kitchen and bathroom were fully updated with quartz counters, stainless appliances, modern fixtures, and a walk-in shower.
• Comfortable king bed: The bedroom features a high-end Hybrid king mattress and platform bed for restful Maui nights. Comfortable new, high-end sofa sleeper in living room.
• Fresh, updated feel throughout: New furnishings and decor were added after the remodel to create a clean, modern, comfortable home base.
• Remote-work friendly: We work remotely from the condo ourselves, so we’ve equipped it with high-speed Wi-Fi, a monitor, printer, and a comfortable setup for guests who need to stay connected.
• Beach-ready convenience: We provide beach gear so guests can enjoy Kamaole II and nearby beaches with less hassle.
• Resort-style grounds and amenities: Kihei Akahi offers six landscaped acres, two pools, tennis/pickleball, and a botanical walk featuring more than 30 tropical flowers and plants.
