Beautiful views! Some updates needed

The property was perfect for our stay. Great location and restaurant on site. If you want to get dinner at the restaurant I recommend getting a reservation in advance. Some things in the condo did not work properly: dryer, vanity lights, hair dryers. These were minor issues but we overall enjoyed our stay!

Unbelievable

We had the best week here for our first trip to Maui! The grounds were beautiful, pools were great and very quick access to the beach. The beach chairs and cooler were a bonus! Our only complaint was we asked for the king to be split into twin beds for our two boys and it wasn’t done before arrival and when I sent a message when we got there they never came to do it. It didn’t ruin our week and we will definitely stay here if we come again! Thanks

Perfect Family Resort

My family and I absolutely loved staying here! The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort was clean and up to date. Our suite was well appointed and came with the perfect ocean view. It was close to shops and restaurants but you really don’t need to leave the resort, they have everything there you need! We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Amazing condo

This condo comes fully stocked. Kitchen has anything you need. 5 tommy bahama beach chairs. An ice chest. The photos of the view don’t do it justice. Communication with the property managers was easy and helpful. This place doesn’t disappoint!

Welcome back to Maui!

This was my first trip in 4 years, and it exceeded all my expectations! After visiting Maui yearly for many years, I could not wait any longer. The whales were plentiful, the view spectacular, the weather perfect. 739 is a perfect unit for my sis and me, Honua Kai feels like home. Mahalo and aloha!

Awesome condo!

We’ve stayed at Honua Kai three other times and this is the best unit! Love the floors! Great views! Only suggestion to arriving party or manager is to bring or provide Saran Wrap and dishwashing soap. There was a dish sponge but no soap. Also some spray cleaner would be great too as I dropped some eggs on the floor. But overall we would definitely come back again and highly recommend!!!

Wonderful!

Everything was easy and wonderful. Comfortable, great ocean view, saw many whales spouting snd breaching. Pools are warm and clean. Staff is attentive. Nice beach access. Lots of room for a family of four. Had guest king bed split for two twins, was perfect for needs. Easy access and close to stores and activities.

Wonderful condo

Great condo. Very spacious and accommodating for our party of 6. A roll away was waiting per our request. The kitchen was appointed with all we needed for cooking and the fridge was cold! Check-in was a bit of a hiccup as we went to the first tower, and was directed to check in with bell hop who then told us we needed to check into the other tower. Overall, fine , just a bit annoying after traveling all day. Once we were settled it was a piece of paradise. Would love to stay again.

Great Location

The location and views made it worth every penny. I liked having the waterproof wristband key for the room and towel dispenser. Having a general store in the lobby was very convenient.

Beautiful place, lots of kids

We arrived in late June 2021, with half the world it seemed! Very busy! Packed. I felt bad for all the service workers, but they performed the jobs very cheerfully wherever we went so we made sure to tip well. This is a beautiful property, our unit was really nice, with a great lanai and view of the sea and grounds. Great place for families with kids. We were two adults and a 16 year old. We probably should have picked a somewhat quieter place, but we enjoyed it. Not that much room at the pools, the beach is narrow here, so be prepared for crowded conditions. Forget about getting a reservation at Duke's - maybe if you book 6 months in advance? We tried a month in advance, no way. But we got take out and it was good. Lots of eating options around here. Try the food trucks next door. Also, Fish Market Maui down the street is excellent. We ate well. The kitchen was well appointed too. The wrist band keys worked well for the room, not so well for the towel dispensers. The one in the lobby worked without fail for us. The ones at the pool, mostly didn't work. The staff here was great. Very friendly and cheerful despite clearly being a bit overwhelmed with the crowds. Lots of kids here, pretty noisy, so if you want peace and quiet, you will only find that in the very early morning. Overall, we would probably not stay here again because we prefer a bit more elbow room, but I would recommend for families with kids.

Excellent views

The unit was fabulous, very clean and great location. The wrap around Lanai was my favorite and the ocean views were amazing.

Great Location

We enjoyed the location and condo itself. The wrap around lanai was fantastic. Organized activities for teenagers would be great. Overall a fun experience and would definitely come back again.
