コーラルベイの南端にある新しく改装されたオーシャンフロントの家のプライバシーで広大な島の景色を眺めながら、下に打ち寄せる波の音に座ってリラックスしてください！ メゾンミーレプールハウスは、カップルがリラックスして日常生活のストレスから逃れるのに最適な場所です。 30フィートのラッププールを楽しんだり、広大な庭園を散歩したり、プールのそばに座って風や波の音を聞いたりしてください。 バーダーは、さまざまな海鳥や頻繁に訪れる猛禽類を見ることができます。

Beautiful view with a convenient location to beaches and restaurants on that side of the island. Snorkeling from Maho and Francis beach became our early morning routine! A wonderful island for exploring.

Maison Miele Villa is on Sabbit point, on a cliff with absolutely incredible views. It is on the quiet side of St John beyond Coral bay on the way to Salt Pond beach. As the adjoining home was not occupied, it was exceptionally peaceful and private. The orientation is towards the east which is great for sunrises and an added bonus because the sun sets behind the villa which allows you to enjoy the mid to late afternoon in the shade. The week we went, last week of October, the south eastern trade winds constantly lapped against the property. It is closer to the beaches we enjoyed most (Cinnamon, Maho, Salt Pond, and Waterlemon) than was Cruz Bay which was great as they were un crowded. Logistically it is somewhat involved to get there but much worthwhile. If you like the Cruz bay nightlife this place is probably not for you. We took the advice of the host and rented a Jeep from Amalie Car Rental on St Thomas, did our initial shopping in St Thomas then took the car ferry to St John. Logistically, this was far easier than renting a car in St John, albeit we had the additional 50 (cash) expense each way for the car ferry. The Villa was well appointed and more than adequate for two people. It had the details like guides, beach gear to borrow, some toiletries you may have forgotten or didn’t know you may need (bug spray and balm, reef safe sun screen, coffee filters, and even some left over booze from prior guests :).

My husband and I spent 28 glorious days at Maison Miele. This was our 8th vacation on the beautiful island of St. John. Every year we stay in a different house in different areas of the island and we have found that Coral Bay/John’s Folly is our favorite!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very private pool house (the main house was closed and empty), and the house had everything we needed!! We never experienced a power outage while on island- we’re sure this is due to their Tesla battery backup. The online pictures and description of the pool house are accurate. Chris and Anna were wonderful and very helpful!! Highly recommend!!

A Unique Secluded Rental with a Perfect View

This property is very unique in that it’s a pool house rental for couples on a beautiful cliffside. The main house is not lived in and you have a beautiful property to enjoy. The view from the pool or main rental deck provides a million dollar view. The unit has majority windows and you will awake each morning to a beautiful sunrise. It’s an open concept living unit with separate bath. Goats, chickens, and donkeys will occasionally be outside the fenced areas where you park. I would stay again for sure. This side of the island is quiet and remote. Basic restaurants and groceries nearby and fits if you like to be away from the main busy area of Cruz Bay 30 minutes away.

Madison Miele was not only beautifully situated, it was private, comfortably and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. We stayed for 11 nights and LOVED every minute. We plan to return next year.

The view!

We’ll never forget the views from the poolhouse. The sunrises, sunsets, passing clouds, starry nights were beyond beautiful. We felt right at home as soon as we entered the place. The layout is so comfortable for a couple. The bed was just right. The trade winds and the two large ceiling fans kept us cool. We only used the AC once on a very muggy, rainy night. There’s an ample closet with lots of hangers and shelves, so you don’t have to live out of a suitcase while there. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookery, etc., if you prefer to eat in. The local IPAs in the fridge were a welcome treat. We refreshed ourselves in the pool a lot, and easily cleared any fallen petals from the garden with a provided pool net. The location is very private. As an animal lover, I got such a kick out of the local goats and ram that would occasionally roam outside the property. We spent most of our time snorkeling in the clear, calm waters of Salt Pond Bay and Hansen Bay because the North Shore beaches were too choppy during our stay. Maison Miele is conveniently close to both beaches, and to our favorite Coral Bay restaurants—Sunrise Cantina, Sharky’s by the Water, Skinny Legs, and Rhumb Lines Cuisine in Indigo Grill. The hosts provided very clear instructions and suggestions for making the most of our stay. We can’t recommend Maison Miele enough, and would return in a heartbeat.

We felt completely rejuvenated after our stay. Beautiful views, beautiful pool house and pool; Exactly what we were looking for. Pool house is in remote location so I was expecting spiders outside. I did find a spider inside daily (not a huge deal.) The pool house is clean and well kept. The only sort of strange occurrence was the owner or house cleaner arrived 20-30 mins early on our day of departure/check out. She didn’t introduce herself or look at us, just immediately went to the pool and started cleaning it. It just felt a little tacky otherwise the communication was good with owners regarding arriving to pool house and activities in the area.

A very special place

We stayed here for 7 of the most relaxing days of our lives. We were celebrating a belated honeymoon and wanted to find a place to escape our hectic city lives — wow did this deliver! Sweeping views of st. john and the stars at night are brighter than a remote country night! Coral bay is awesome and close by. Villa was super clean, pool is awesome & gardens give you a great chance to birdwatch and watch lizards do pushups. If you’re thinking about visiting st. john rent this villa now!

Perfect Honeymoon Retreat

Anniversary to remember

We spent our first trip to St. John here and celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! It was just what we needed. Remote location, breathtaking views and time just ourselves. The rental was exactly as advertised! We would definitely stay here again if we are able to sneak away again!

Private - Beautiful view

This is an amazing romantic stay. We were able to fully relax. We made use of the private lap pool. The inside was fresh and clean. The reason for 4/5 stars was the outside needed a bit of TLC. There were cobwebs and bird poop along the railings. We could ignore them for the most part, but when taking pictures they detracted from the overall feel. The shrubs were feeling a bit overgrown and invading the sidewalks making them feel unkept. These are very small things, but when giving a 5 star, I do expect a bit of a wow factor. I would definitely go back, but I would ask that they have their cleaner clear the cobwebs and a gardner touch up the shrubs for a fresh clean first impression. The host was very clear with communication and directions. We had such a good week!!!

Perfect spot

This rental is lovely. Had everything we could possibly need (except maybe a hammock). The pool house had everything to cook or grill every meal if we wanted, including spices, oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, condiments in the refrigerator, everything you'd need for the beach (no umbrella, but none needed on St. John due to all of the trees on every beach). Communication with the host was perfect and easy - they made sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy and settled in. The goats and donkeys outside the property were entertaining every day and the views cannot compare to anything else. Every day, we woke up with the sun, had coffee, packed lunch and went hiking; then to a beach and then back to the pool and property to hang out in the sun there - it was perfect. We had never been to St. John and we will be back and we will definitely rent the pool house again, for the two of us. Perfect trip! And for the review that said the property "needs cleanup" - it would be impossible to keep the flowers off of the pathways and out of the pool unless there was a caretaker there twice a day - which would then defeat the purpose of the private rental... the trade winds blow the flowers off the bushes each day - the property is pristine and well maintained! Thanks for being a great host, Chris! We will be back when we visit again.

Plenty of Privacy

We really enjoyed our stay on the quiet side of the island. Lots of amenities nearby and the beaches are just a short drive away. Chris was very responsive when we had questions during our stay and the Pool House was the perfect private getaway for my husband and I.

Perfect honeymoon spot!

This was a dream honeymoon spot/property for my wife and I! The property was very clean and exactly as advertised. The views were amazing. And the countless baby goats roaming the cliffside kept things interesting. The pool was also very clean and added a nice change of pace when needing to cool off. We'd love to stay here again someday!

Now here we are 20 years later working to make our new island home a special place for you, our Guests, to enjoy and help make your stay on St John as memorable and impactful as ours was long ago!

We have made so many wonderful friends and positive experiences through the ownership of our first island home (Sun, Moon & Stars Villa) that we decided to do it again! When Maison Miele came on the market for sale damaged from hurricanes Irma and Maria we knew we had to find a way to make it happen and restore this beautiful waterfront home. The views, privacy and constant trade winds at Maison Miele are the same features that we absolutely love about Sun, Moon & Stars and the added soothing sounds of the ocean rolling against the cliffs directly below help lull you into complete peace and relaxation!
