20th anniversary trip!

We had a wonderful time at Chic’s beach! The house is huge - lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The views are so beautiful and it’s really close to the beach.

Wonderful location

Weekend getaway at the beach

Great place! Location close to beach and restaurants within walking distance. Property manager was AWESOME. We has a noise issue with the neighbors and it was promptly resolved.

Rodent Infestation - DO NOT BOOK

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND I’ve been trying to speak to a supervisor for a week and no one will contact me. I’ve never left a review like this in my life, but I’ve also never encountered rodents inside a property. I have video of my sister catching a mouse from the sink and taking it outside. We encountered multiple rodents in the kitchen on multiple days. I’m disappointed that management has had over a week to contact me to reconcile this experience. The wifi was unusable. Do not use this property if you need Internet. We stayed for seven days so you can imagine the data we all had to use. We couldn’t even get streaming services to run on the television. Icing on the cake was a shower did not drain. My sister had to shower in a pool of water. I thought this location and property would be something we would never forget. I was right about that but for the wrong reasons. I would have rather shared this privately with a supervisor but unfortunately I’ve contacted them multiple times and received not one call back. I’ve been home for 7 days and I’m still waiting to hear from them.

Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we want to assure you that we take it very seriously. I apologize for your experience with unwelcome critters on the last day of your stay! We take pride in offering clean homes with regular pest control. Unfortunately during the colder months pests sometimes find a way in despite regular servicing- however, the issue has been addressed for future guests. Any possible exterior entry points have been sealed. Additionally, we regret the inconvenience caused by the Wi-Fi and shower drainage problems, these items have also been addressed. Regarding your attempts to contact our management team, we apologize for any miscommunication. We did respond to your inquiries initially, but regrettably, we were compelled to cease communication due to threats of a negative review and excessive refund requests. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, we aim for all of our guests to be satisfied with their experience with us.

Beach retreat

This is a clean, large rental with the beach a short walk away. The Master suite is spacious. There is a 2nd King bedroom with attached bath. And The ground floor has a great family bedroom with a king bed and two double beds that makes a family with small children very cozy. The kitchen is nice but it is not stocked for major cooking. No staples such as salt and pepper or oil are supplied so be sure to bring your own. The ice maker did not work and I didn't like using ice cube trays with the mention of new appliances in the listing. Overall it is a very good space. I couldn't give it a five but it is probably a 4.5 rather than a 4.

Great spot on the bay

Really enjoyed this property and location on the bay with our family of 6 plus a grandparent. We like visiting this area every year. The downstairs bedroom with 2 full beds and 1 queen bed is a common room, but for our young family that worked out just fine. The house is within range of all types of restaurants and grocery stores, a short drive to the ocean front, and -most importantly- a two second walk onto the bay. We painted the bay from the partial view from the porch (ate all of our meals out there, too), swam in the quiet bay, played in the sand, and drove across the bay bridge-tunnel just for the scenery. At night, enjoy the lights of the bridge as they dissappear over the horizon. During the day enjoy the cargo ships,, military ships and aircraft. A huge plus for our kids. We will return as soon as possible! Restaurants aew also in walking distance, but we haven't tried them yet.

Close to beach

The accommodations were nice and everything was very clean. The upstairs air conditioning did not work properly, the outdoor shower had no cold water nor did any water come out of where you could use a hose. For the price spent on this house rental we had higher expectations on amenities. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed how close we were to the beach.

Steps to the Ocean

Overall, the house was nice. The property is convenient to the beach and to surrounding attractions. The upstairs air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. Repairmen were dispatched quickly, but It was quite hot upstairs for 2 of our 6 nights.
